My wife and I are likely to vote Republican BUT …. we were extremely impressed with Sen. Biden. His passionate, articulate, and well informed presentation was a refreshing departure from the usual. The big loser for the evening was Gov. Richardson, who could not give a single response without reminding the audience of his resume. I don't count Kucinich and Gravel as credible candidates, but Gravel realy laid down the gauntlet about Congressional "earmarks". which the others studiously avoided. The two strong voices were Hillary and Joe Biden. I don't like Sen. Clinton, but give credit were credit is due … she is sharp and has brass …….

I thought Biden stood out tonight. He addressed the issues directly and gave straight on answers. He was assertive and strong. He explained his views throughly, and I think he'll be getting much more attention in the weeks to come.
