WASHINGTON (CNN) — Sen. Joe Biden said Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Peter Pace is "flat wrong" for wanting to keep the current "don’t ask, don't tell" policy pertaining to gays and lesbians serving in the military. "This is ridiculous and by the way we've got a war on our hands we're trying to end and in the meantime we're breaking the military," Biden said. "9,000 of these people have been kicked out. This is not a rational policy." – CNN Associate Producer Lauren Kornreich Filed under: Joe Biden
