I'm so bummed Richardson dropped out. He definitely had the best resume, and I am certain he would have made a good President. Given his Secretary of Energy and UN ambassador appointments under Bill Clinton, I could easily see him as a sensible VP choice for Hillary. In fact, that sounds like the golden ticket.

the New Hampshire vote is tomorrow. Obama won in Iowa. The debate 2 nights ago on abc was cool. "one night two parties." i'm glad that Bill Richardson finally got some more of the spotlight now that it is down to only 4 democratic candidates.

Richardson has the best resume and experience. he has been nominated for the nobel peace prize 5 times, he was energy something under the clinton administration, he has balanced a budget and he has created new jobs in his state of New Mexico. he has also been in the UN and dealt with several hostage negotiations.

Bill Richardson is a funny guy and he has my vote here in CALIFORNIA.

If Clinton does not tap Obama for the VP spot she will lose the Black Vote. Especially after all of the dirty politics she pulled recently. All a republican candidate would have to do is tap a Black VP like Rice or Powell and that candidate would be guaranteed the election.

Well if Hillary didn't have the black vote she would tap Obama. But she already has the Black vote thanks to Bill, and tapping Richardson she's betting on gaining ground with the Hispanic vote.

She has to watch that though, alot of tension and anti-Hispanic sentiment around the nation may take away from the general election.

Clinton/Richardson, maybe, but it's still the Old Crowd. Clinton/Obama would be fresher and broader. Richardson's experience qualifies him for Sec'y of State, IMO.

Everyone was heaping the praise on Governor Richardson tonight -- it seems everyone wants utilize his skills.

Even John Edwards who leads the Democratic candidates in terms of messaging praised Richardson for his vision and leadership.

Bill Richardson is the obvious choice for Vice President, and I personally think the press is not giving him an honest look. If not VP, he's golden for Secretary of State also.

For now, I'm definitely betting on a a Clinton/Richardson ticket.

A Clinton/Richardson ticket is just what the country needs.

Though I would love to see Obama or Edwards bow down to her if they get chosen!

Hillary will choose the best VP in the United States of America for her General Election. you don't need to worry about Hillary, she is totally different level with B-C team. Wait and see your guess is megalomania or not.

Richardson held himself well during the debates. He made some excellent points about immigration, education, and world politics. They have obvious mutual respect for each other and he has many attributes that would strengthen a Hillary ticket. Hillary would be smart to have him as #2. (I totally agree with the previous points mentioned about the Latino and Mid/South West Votes he would gain).

Bill Richardson has been my pick for #1 from the beginning. He has the best CV for the job. Its the media pundits and corporate money that has propelled Clinton to the top--and corporate money is the root of the demise of democracy in the U.S., and certainly what got us into the war in Iraq and is keeping us there. If the Democrats are stuck with Hillary, she couldn't do better than Richardson as #2.

I think that any of the top three, Clinton, Edwards, or Obama if they got the nomination would be wise to chose Richardson as a running mate. He has the skills and experience to mend fences around the world.
