WASHINGTON (CNN) — Former Sen. John Edwards, D-North Carolina, said "others have been quiet" on calling for a plan to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq. Edwards said, "They went quietly to the floor of the Senate, cast the right vote, but there is a difference between leadership and legislators." CNN's Wolf Blitzer gave Edwards the chance to name names, to which Edwards responded, "Senator Clinton and Senator Obama did not say anything about how they were going to vote until they appeared on the floor of the Senate, voted." – CNN Associate Producer Natalie Apsell Filed under: Barack Obama Hillary Clinton John Edwards |
