WASHINGTON (CNN) — Former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel agreed with New York Sen. Hillary Clinton that the war in Iraq is "Bush's war", but then he went a different direction, alleging the war was "facilitated by the Democrats."

"They brought the resolution up, one of them co-authored it standing here," Gravel said. "And so it's George Bush's war, but it's the Democrats' war also."

Gravel also said later in the debate that any candidate who voted to authorize the war should be disqualified from being president.

Mike Gavel is right on!

If he'd oppose amnesty, economy, loss of civil rights, lack of security and our protection at the borders from terrorists, drugs, illegal human trafficing, disease and weapons,he mght make Democrats relevant!

I'm waiting for an "INDEPENDENT" ticket. I'm a former Democrat that was left by the party. No equality to an illegal stranger until I receive equality. Asking otherwise of American women is uncivilized.

Our democracy, economy, and military empire is facing collapse.

None of that was addressed. Both major parties are seen worldwide and in the states as irrelevant!

I agree. The democrats said saddam was planning weapons of mass destruction way before the repubs. So everyone bought the democrats lie that there were weapond of mass destruction.

I agree, do not split up families of illegal aliens send them all back on the same bus as the amendment to the Constitution has been twisted beyond its intent that provided African slaves and their offspring the right of citizenship as they were brought here against their will.
The Bush wars should have the cause of shooting trespassers on the spot. It is treason not immigration.
The Berlin Wall was built by Russia to imprison the Germans.
The wall that is partially built on the border states of the United States of America is intended to stop the influx of illegal aliens and the free travel of unapproved persons and cargo.

As a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom; I have to agree with Sen. Gravel when he says that any Candidate who vote for this war should be disqualified from being President. I served as a USMC Corporal with Taskforce Tarawa and participated in the attacks on An Nas and Tikrit and after coming home I did some research and learned that the intel wasn't wrong or cherry picked, they just failed to read past the first page of the report.
