When he ran again for Congress as a Republican (after running for president as a Libertarian) the RNC people worked overtime to try and get him defeated in the Republican primary. "Ron Paul the looney Libertarian believes.....".

It back-fired.

In the general election the Democrats pulled the same thing. "Ron Paul the looney Libertarian believes...."

It back-fired.

It seems that the more people hear about the "looney Libertarian" the more they realize who the TRUE loons are.

It isn't Ron Paul or the American people of all political backgrounds that resonate with his message. It is the people that are self-appointed political leaders with a profound mistrust of freedom and an aversion to principled Constitution based governance.

That is disgustingly biased. Ron Paul has been a republican congressman for ten terms. You call him a "libertarian" just to sleight him. It's obvious. He has much more support than you will ever admit.

I think it's funny how Mr. Steinhauser says that a candidate like Dr. Ron Paul is in the back of the pack. Dr. Paul has a strong grassroots backing. He has this support in part because the majority of Americans are against the war in Iraq. It's funny how CNN didn't offer a poll for the public to vote on the winner of the debate. Is this because Dr. Paul would likely win and get more exposure? Should candidates that the controlled corporate media consider "front runners" be given three times more minutes than someone like Dr. Paul in the debate?
