22 May 2007, C-Span covered a most educational speech to congress by Dr. Ron Paul. If Ron Paul did not use frequent-flyer miles for his first class ticket it is a shame. It is even more shameful to choose to publish such a trifle offense over the massive injustices to all Americans that this man, Ron Paul, is campaigning fearlessly against. History does repeat itself, so please research something worthy of consideration.

So why focus on Doctor Ron Paul flying on a commercial flight in first class? Why is there no mention that Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, John Edwards, Christopher Dodd, John McCain and Barack Obama have all been using corporate jets to flit around the country. This causes an obvious conflict of interests and gives the opportunity for corporate interests to easily gain favor with future Presidents.

Well, that's it for me. I'm removing CNN from my bookmarks and replacing it with freemarket news.com. CNN has become (or always has been?) as bad as FOX at warping news into entertainment (Actually, 60 Minutes started the trend back in the '70s). It's all blathering pundits, spin, and political football with no attention to the issues that would help Americans understand their world, be a part of it, and make a difference.

How distorted can you get in your news reporting CNN? This article is extremely biased, innaccurate, and leaves out related information (like how Rudy Ghouliani flew on a corporate sponsored jet, but only paid first class price instead of the $9000 cost).

What has happened to reporting unbiased informative news? Articles like this illustrate how far old media has strayed down the path of propaganda and corruption.

Not that it matters in the first place. The bigger question is why haven't the mainstream media at least covered the fact that Dr. Paul's campaign is the most significant grassroots effort since Ross Perot? America loves underdogs, and you would think that angle would be newsworthy. There isn't much else to discuss about the Republicans. I don't understand how every other Republican candidate can support the war and actually think they stand a chance at getting elected.

If you guys are serious about the news or, for that matter, the future of this country you would know that Ron Paul has been one of the lone voices in Congress since 1976 to speak out against the waste, abuses, incompetence and absurdities within this government. He has saved taxpayers for more money than any other Congressman and he probably paid for that first class seat himself. Whose business is it anyway if he did fly first class. Why don't you guys still to the important issues that face this country? My God, we face so many threats, most of which Dr. Paul warned against back in his speech to the House on Sept. 19th, 1984. Do your home work and then report the Truth about Dr. Paul to the citizens of this rapidly fading Republic which has suffered at the hands of the inept Republicans and Democrats for far too long.
