McCain is full of it! But so are all of the other Congressmen and Congresswomen. Our Constitution states that our shores are to be protected against enemies foreign and domestic. Congress has broken its oath to the American People. They allow millions of illegals to cross our borders. They insist that the American citizens pay for the social welfare, education and also give jobs to these illegals. Then when we say, wait a minute, something is wrong with this picture, the American Citizen is then called racists, etc.

McCain-Kennedy, et al always says to give another suggestion, well here you go: Enforce the current immigration laws! Secure the border, allow law enforcement and immigration to check social security records, fine heavily the employers who hire illegals and deport illegals as they are found.

The American people have the will to do this, the issue is that Congress does not. There is so much taxpayer money that is wasted each year, stop the waste and use it for immigration enforcement.

Do we need to pass a bill in order to secure our southern border? Where is the leadership on this? What is preventing our President and leaders in the Senate and Congress from a call to action (deploying troops if necessary)? The American people want the border secured. Let's start there. The debate on what to do with those who are here illegally can ensure thereafter. You're right Mr. McCain – hundreds more will cross each day, and a number of them will commit crimes and add cost for American taxpayers. We have immigration laws already. Let's start with enforcement of those.

Excuse me, our borders are not broken, it is our government and our leaders that are broken! they are the ones who don't have the will to see our laws enforced and our borders secured, how odd is it, we can stand and secure other counties borders with our military, when we refuse to secure our own? I guess more and more Americans will have to stand up and do their jobs for them by joining the "vigilante" forces of the Minutemen groups to see our borders secure against any terrorist who wants to come over our borders not to mention the invasion from Mexico.Don't worry John, you can go home and take a long rest, there are plenty of Americans, just waiting to do the job you refuse to do in securing our borders.

I agree completely. What this country is in bad need of is a true constitutionalist. Someone willing to enforce the laws on the books and protect this countries borders. Something our founding fathers intended and staying clear of foreign wars and affairs whenever possible. One canidate fits the bill and it sure isn't one that tow the party lines from either side. Ron Paul is the man for the job. If people would only get there heads out of the TV and start doing there own reserch into things for themselves, the man would sell himself.

Dear Senator McCain,
The citizens of the U.S.A. want our immigration laws enforced. All government employees, from the President on down, that do not enforce our immigration laws should be arrested, prosecuted, tried, convicted, fined , and jailed. Our citizenry also want every employer of every illegal alien that are breaking our laws by doing this to be arrested, prosecuted, tried, convicted, fined, and jailed. The govenment will not allow us citizens to break the law or we are arrested, prosceuted, convicted, fined and jailed. Is it too much to ask that we all be treated equally?

Exactly, Karla. His response is so disingenuous for that very reason. There are already laws! Enforce them! Then you can take your time selling out the country with new legislation. False choice, McCain.

Oh, and while I'm at it, in your heartfelt answer at the debate the other night, how many of the Hispanic names on the Wall are those of illegals? How many fighting today are illegals. Yes, John, these are good people, sure. But they are illegally in this country! We cannot suffer another president that has no respect for the law. Support only THE candidate who supports the Constitution. Sorry, John, it is not you.
