Just 14 comments in 24 hours ? Dear old Rudy does not seem to be getting attention anymore !! Is it the 9/11 overexposure or the I AM ALL MOUTH attitude ? Glad to see there are some die hard NYC fans left... I used to be one when he was DA.

Giuliani is nothing more than a Bush butt kisser and he isn't fit to be dog catcher.

He has none of the experience required to run this country. If he truly believes that:

"That's an extraordinary statement, as someone who lived through the attack of September 11, that we invited the attack because we were attacking Iraq. I don't think I've heard that before, and I've heard some pretty absurd explanations for September 11." ~Giuliani, GOP debate

then he has clearly neither read the 9/11 comission report, nor listened to the experts' (primarily the CIA) explanation for the reasons that we were attacked. Someone (Rudy) who thinks that the only reason they hate us is because were free, and not because we have been screwing things up in the region throughout history, which clearly incites hatred, along with our needless support of Israel, is not qualified to run this country.

Ron Paul is the only GOP candidate who has the potential ability to beat the Democrats in '08, its just too bad that we are going to lose the executive branch by nominating a neocon.

I love how I can post on here and it'll be there for about 5 minutes, and then it magically disappears. Guess I shouldn't be talking about how Giuliani is covering up his knowledge of what really happened on 9/11. Guess I'm being un-american.

This was posted at 2:37pm PST. How long will it last?

"Wasn’t he the one who lied about the air quality to the workers at WTC and didn’t he refuse to require then to wear respirators?"

That was Christine Todd Whitman... Giuliani was the one that told CBS news that he was warned that the buildings were to collapse and then about 15 minutes later they did. During that 15 minutes he didn't bother to warn the firefighters or police to get out of the buildings. He now denies it though, even though the video of him saying it is all over the internet.

He is a true leader by all stretches of the imagination. He is articulate, intelligent, honest and charismatic. Most of all he leads by example. His decisions are made for the common good of society and not for special interest groups as displayed as mayor of NYC.

He will bring passion back into the White House which we haven't had since Reagan left. May of my constituents say that he is the only Republican candidate who can beat the Democratic nominee. If not, say hello to Hillary in '08.

Rudy uses the same old BS Bush and Chenney was using-either vote rep or we will be hit again. They seem to forget that they were in power when we were hit bad under their watch. And it hit in Rudy's home town area. If he has the power to stop an attach-why did he not use it to save lives. Like I said above-just the same old rep BS.
The news keep showing Rudy walking down the street just after the 9/11 hit. I've got a neice that could have done that walk and look tougher than he did.

What I would love to see more than anything is that if Giuliani believes that Ron Paul was actually wrong with what he said about 9/11, then he needs to go 1 on 1 in a debate against Ron Paul.

It is my feeling that Giuliani (the 9/11 expert) would either backdown or get ripped to shreds in an actual debate where he cant use the phrase (I was there on 9/11). He is similar to Hillary Clinton that both have done very little and are in this solely on name recognition

I've read a bunch of commentary from new Yorkers who are anything but pleased with Rudy's pre- and post 9-11 performance. I mean, maybe the mantra ought to be, 9-11 happened on Rudy's Watch. What did he do to stop it?! Not much / nothing.

This is the 9/11, "war on terror" cand. who put the city's command center in the WTC after the first bombing there. Also his "socialized medicine" jibe at the debate just shows how ignorant/incompetent he is–Our other social services, police, fire dept., ambulance, etc. are all non profit entities that seem to get the job done. Also, you'd never get any republican to admit to the massive corrupt debacle, farce the medicare bill the republicans pushed through that gives BILLION$ in profits to the drug compainies–That it includes a prohibition stopping the government from negotiating drug prices–The result of over 1100 paid lobbyists and when all was said and done, more than a dozen of the most aggressive in congress going to work for the very same drug companies that profit from the bill they voted for. One within weeks at a two million dollar annual salary. Ahh...Politics as usual.

I agree…do we need someone dressed in Drag to meet foreign dignitaries?
Rudy talks tough, but it’s just talk. He has NO experience dealing with Foreign Relations, National Economy, or even threats against the U.S. Do we really want another imbecile in the White House who will make a shamble of our Country? Wasn’t he the one who lied about the air quality to the workers at WTC and didn’t he refuse to require then to wear respirators?

This guy isn’t tough, he’s stupid with a big mouth and that is what we have in office right now, don’t the Republicans have anyone with at least two brain cells to rub together to run for President?

Matt Houston, Texas   June 11th, 2007 1:50 pm ET

All he has to fall back on is 9/11 and the war on terror.

The scary thing is that for someone who is supposed to an expert on the war on terror, to see his complete lack of familiarity with the 9/11 commission report and CIA report is troubling. Why did it take Dr. Paul reminding Giuliani of what is actually in those reports?

I believe that Dr. Paul is still waiting for the apology from Giuliani for making false accusations at the debate.

DJ, Los Angeles, CA   June 11th, 2007 1:39 pm ET

It's obvious Rudy is a 1 trick pony...and is running almost purely as a War on Terror candidate. What does he bring to the table that isn't already being done?

Is he really qualified outside of being Mayor of NYC?

Dinesh, NYC, NY   June 11th, 2007 12:33 pm ET

No way, its just TALK. Remember he wanted to cling on to power after the end of his mayoral term. He is an opportunist, making money out of it is fine but NOT the Supreme Responsibility
