Looks like lots of Romney supporters are trolling the web to say the same thing. Sam Brownback is a multi issue candidate, has the best quailties and experienced too. He is the only Republican with a (viable) political plan for Iraq, a plan to cut federal agencies and programs, and promote the family and marriage. He has administrative experience but in this time of war its his foreign policy experience, with recent meetings in Iraq with the leaders of the factions and our generals, that put him out front. The fact that his philosophy starts with the idea that every human life is sacred and you have a "home run" of a candidate waiting for less extreme (or extrememly driven) GOP voters not posting to this story to discover him or jump on his bandwagon. It's coming. Watch the Ames Iowa straw poll.

as if calling people who commit abortion murderers is really goint to help your cause out.

why is rudy 'courageous' if he supports, what you call 'murder'?

That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. I think lots of murderers are courageous. See how reasoanble that sounds.

It's not only that Romney hasn't called abortion "murder", but that he uses the phrase "pro-life" while referring to abortion as the wrong "choice" (on his official website), and stating that states make the decision themselves. This is not a strong pro-life position; it is a federalist position taken to appease his targeted voting demographic. Actually, it's not all that different from Giuliani's position, except that Giuliani ahs the courage and conviction to state that he remains pro-choice.

I am a Kansan. That being said, I apologize to everyone that my state has inflicted Brownback upon you. I have considered him a numbskull for a long time, but I am surprised that he has chosen to make it so obvious.
I've already donated to Romney, and I will do so again. When the numbskulls gang up and attack him, I can't help but like him even more.

nine out of the ten republican candidates, simply put, suck. This probably wont make it onto the discussion board, but it's true. When over 70% of the country thinks that we should leave Iraq, how on earth do these nine think they can run on a pro war platform? It just doesnt make sense. Ron paul is the only candidate with an actual chance. Simply put, vote Ron Paul in '08.

ChairmanMao,

are you kidding? what make me think Romney is competent? Do some reading and you will find out. He is the only viable candidate with real executiev and adminstrative experience.

I would anybody who is able to provide healthcare to every citizen in his state WITHOUT INCREASING INCOME TAXES and WITHOUT INCREASING GOVERNMENT BURAECRACY very competent. By they way, he did this with a legislature full of a different party.

I would also say someone who can take a 3 billion dollar deficit in a democratic controlled state and balance that budget, again without raising taxes, very impressive an competent.

I would say someone who can be called at short notice to save the US from an awful embarassment from an olympics that is bogged down with corruption and deficit with sponsors pulling out left and right into a huge suprlus and perfect success competent.

I would also say someone who can start a compnay and make it into the 4th largest investing firm in teh country worth billions of dollars competent.

Shall I continue? Because I can.

Romney: proven business success, proven olympic turnaround (also donated $1M + took no salary + $100M profit), massachusetts turn around $3B deficit + 1st in nation in education, market-driven healthcare that other states are modeling, led opposition to gay marriage, took no salary.

Romney is a phony and should be called to the carpet on it. Talk about doing/saying anything for votes--this guy takes the cake.

I'm not a Brownback supporter either. The days of being a one issue candidate are over.

The candidates are squabbling about who is lying and being misleading again. There's a surprise. Good thing there is at least one candidate who does not have to be concerned about being misleading or lying.

go home brownback, you one issue candidate. he has the same chances as tancredo who is also a one issue candidate.

for being so pro life it is interesting why he is criticizing romney for comments he made while vetoing a bill on stem cell research for the purpose of respecting life

brownback is a politician however, can't expect much less from a us senator. brownback has nothing on romney. romney is hte most competent of all the candidates. Brownback is extremly unimpressive.
