The Clintons will campaign together in Iowa next month.
WASHINGTON (CNN) - Former President Bill Clinton will join his wife Sen. Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail in Iowa early next month, CNN has learned.
The former president and first lady will spend July 2-4 in Iowa, a Clinton campaign spokesman told CNN Monday. The exact details of the schedule are still being finalized.
Though Clinton is ahead in most national polls, she is not faring as well in Iowa. A Des Moines Register poll late last month had the New York Democrat third in the Hawkeye State, behind former Sen. John Edwards, and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

Curious...When George Bush ran for office, his dad pretty much kept out of the limelight. George Jr ran on his own merits and did not need his father in the picture. The appearance is that Hilary is not strong enough to stand on her own merit...sad. I look at women figures like Margaret Thacher of the UK as an example of a strong women. She ran on her own merit. I think it will hurt Hilary...I want to see what Hilary has...not what Bill has...he is not running for president. Stand back Bill...lets see what Hilary has to offer.
Hard times in Iowa she runs to her husband. Why in Gods name would we elect someone this weak? I guess drastic times call for drastic meausres. I like Bill he reminds me of this other guy that's running....
I have never especially liked Hillary Clinton, however, I am seeing her in a new light. I do believe it is important to listen to what she is saying. I think she will accomplish what she promises. I like her stand on national healthcare. If we elect her, she is the only person who has the ability to get done what she promises. If you don't like what she says, best not vote for her.The candidates of choice for me are Rudy or Hillary. They are both qualified and I don't think the country will go wrong electing either one. No one else stands out as presidential to me. I might just vote for Hillary. Very smart and tough woman.

Well I think Americans refer to Bush as the President of the World due to the fact that he believes he has that power and authority.
For instance, hasn't it been Bush that's been Dictating to Mid East Nations et al as to: how they should Govern their people, what type of Government they are allowed by the US to instate, with Dictatorship definitely being frowned upon by the US of course! Yet that is precisely how these Nations are being treated with this very administration!
And is it not Bush that is the Decider as to what military weapons these Nations will be allowed by the US to maintain and employ, and what religion these Nations will be allowed by the US to practice, and what method these Nations will be allowed by the US to employ regarding the treatment of their female citizens, and what laws these Nations will be allowed by the US to Govern by, etc. etc,?
SO I guess many would actually perceive Bush to be the President of the World, as it could only be a World Leader one would think that could dictate in this manner, and demand such obedience from all other World Nations.
