He is correct that we need to have frank discussions with the Mexican government. We need to strengthen the border and we need to sanction/punish those companies and individuals who hire illegal immigrants instead of just persecuting the immigrants themselves. I will be watching Governor Richardson a little more closely in the race for the Democratic nomination.
