Watch CNN's Wolf Blitzer interview Ralph Nader Thursday.

Watch CNN's Mary Snow take a look at what effect Nader might have on the 2008 presidential race.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Consumer advocate and 2000/2004 presidential candidate Ralph Nader has not ruled out another run in 2008, telling CNN's Wolf Blitzer Thursday it's too early for him to make a decision.

The man who many blame as spoiling the election for Al Gore in 2000 also said a potential third party candidacy by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg would not affect his decision to run.

Earlier this week, Bloomberg, a lifelong Democrat until he ran for mayor in 2001, dropped his affiliation with the GOP — a move that increased speculation he is considering an independent presidential bid.

Nader also sharply criticized Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, but said it’s not out of personal disdain for the New York senator.

“It isn’t a matter of liking her,” said Nader. “She’s not using her political capital to shift power to challenge abuses of power.”

Regarding the charge that his candidacy ultimately tipped the balance in Florida to hand George Bush the election, Nader rejected the “spoiler” label. He claimed that such an accusation is based on “factual errors.”

“I think Gore won, by the way,” he added. “I’ve spoken to him. I think he knows he won.”

Nader didn't cost Al Gore the election…all of the idiots who voted for George Bush cost him the election. Not to mention the fiasco in Florida

Nader is in principle a good man and did a lot in his past to promote consumer rights and help the average man.

He did what he thought needed to be done…but he is no dictator.

Bloomberg however is a dictator.

Nader and Bloomberg are self absorbed individuals. Through their eyes they have all the answer on how we should live. Nader is a traitor period. If it were not for his presidential efforts in 2000 the world would be a much better place. Bloomberg is so arrogant with his money and power. We as a nation must prevent these dictators from getting into power. We cannot continue to fail as we have in the past.

If Nader runs he will guarantee that the Democrats' very good chance for winning the White House is shot to hell, and we'll get one of the GOP's political dwarves vying for the office. He must be stopped by any means necessary (legal, of course).

Fred Thompson will be the next president of the United States; so all this talk of Nader, Bloomberg or even Hillary/Obama are just the flapping of gums. President Thompson will lead this great country to new heights, secure our borders, lower taxes, and fight for what is right.

I can't understand why so many people blame Ralph Nader for George Bush being elected president. Why not blame the people who voted for President Bush instead? Also, it has been suggested that Nixon probably beat Kennedy back in 1960. The Democrats probably cheated then, and now, more recently, the Republicans probably cheated. By my reckoning that makes it even.

No, the 'washed up has-been' who owes the U.S. an apology is George W. Bush.

D.Thoms, NYC, US   June 22nd, 2007 3:05 pm ET

That son-of-brat Nader BETTER NOT RUN AGAIN. He's the reason we have our current MORON-IN-CHIEF.

If Nader didn't split the vote, there'd be 3,000 more US SOLDIERS ALIVE TODAY.

Anyone who votes for Nader should join him in the political coffin in which he should already reside.

YOU'RE A WASHED UP HAS-BEEN, Ralph Nader!! And you owe this nation an APOLOGY, not any further "service".

Whether Nader had run or not, the Republicians would still have stolen the election. Just like they did in 2004. As long as every vote is not being counted, we can never have a true democracy.

Nader - Go Away!!!!!!

Run in '08 Ralph Nader, the Country needs you!

Ralph Nader is delusional. He alone cost Gore the election. If his ego wasn't so huge, he would realize and admit this well known fact. Bill in DE
