Lady Bird Johnson was a lady indeed. One last thing that she accomplished before her husband left office was to request that wild flowers be planted alongside the highways to beautify the country. I for one have deeply appreciated Lady Bird's gesture of kindness to America. Every time I travel and see those beautiful flowers aside the road I think of her and smile. Lady Bird was a lady indeed.
