Question: What would you do to make low cost or free health care available to everyone?

(CNN) - Kim from Long Island, NY asks: "I'm 36 years-old and hope to be a future breast cancer survivor from Long Island. My chances for survival aren't as good as they might be, however, because like millions Americans, I've gone for years without health insurance that would've allowed me to take preventative medicine. What would you as president do to make low cost or free for everybody in this country. Thank you."

What did you think about the candidates' response to the question? What would you have asked? The candidates defintely hedged on this question. I don't think any of them know how to handle the health care crises. My advise: Make the Congress (senators and congressman) use Medicaid/Medicare for one full year, then they would be ready to fix it. Why is nothing they pass that is supposed to be "good enough for the American people" ever good enough for them (social security, medicare, the minimum wage, etc)?
