We understand perfectly well that what you mean by "You'll know in October" is really that YOU sir, will know in October, if all the leading Republican candidates have passed on due to age or trophy wife related heart attacks, thus leaving you the ability to sweep in and run the same meaningless type of campaign that they did.

Weren't you the guy that was given credit for the "Republican Revolution" that brought your party into the majority in Congress.

Well, we can see how well that worked out for both you and our country.

A pointless war, horrible healthcare, two melting icecaps, three more nuclear powers, and at least one two faced sex scandal involving yourself as you tried to impeach Clinton leading to your resignation later... you may be back...

He's just upset because Tancredo has emerged as the lead whackjob in this election and that was the niche he was trying to carve out for himself.

As a conservative all I can say is "Don't do it". I am sick of all the crooks from both sides of the aisle. I don't consider myself even close to being a modern day Republican but unfortunatley we only have a two party system.

If he wants to do something for this country he will push for political reform along the lines of the reform that gave the Republicans control of the House and Senate. He would then push for reform that would limit the possibility of corruption. Unfortunately he just doesn't get it and is too much your run of the mill politician at heart so it will never happen.

As for third party canidates buying the election, it won't happen. Any third party candidate that wins the election will do it because he is a better choice then the R or D, not because he spends more. People don't vote based on money, they vote based on the Presidential candidate that best represents their views and beliefs.

The rise of a third party would probably be a thing for the best. It is only a matter of time before the conservative base breaks off from the Republican Party or the Moderate voters break off from the Democratic and Republican Party. This might actually teach the politicians what actual compromising involves. Not this bull crap where one party or the other dictates the majority of legislation. Maybe then we would get some real ideas thought out before being implemented haphazardly.

I think that Newt would represent the GOP as well as any of the other presidential candidates. In fact, Newt should think of selecting Tom Delay as his VP.

Smart guy with command of the issues and a sense of history, but polarizing and ultimately unelectable. Don't do it, Newt. You'd be wasting your time and ours.

If you're running, we'll know, trust me, because we'll be running too, running away for our lives, in terror.
