Dispicable! What a traitorous wench, to support Obama while her own father runs for president. This is a prime example of America's loss of family values. I don't care if she is a member of the GREENBACK party, when a member of your family makes a play, you back it up! And to African American voters I say this, just because Obama is black doesn't mean he is going to give a damn about you when he gets in office.

You wrote,
"however, his actions certainly did NOT rise to the level of impeachable offenses (pretty laughable when you think of the criminal acts going on right now in this administration)."

Can you please tell us which law the President has specifically broken, when he was charged with the crime(s), and what court this action is being taken?

Then you wrote,
" and try to ram your supposed morals down everyone’s throats (and try to legislate things that have no business being legislated like the morning-after pill and birth control) you can be damned sure that we will point out the hypocrisy"

Are you really THAT clueless?? Rudy is the ONE candidate that doesn't ram his "moral issues" down everyone's throat. Rudy is the ONE republican that is Pro-Choice and Pro gay marriage. Rudy probably won't win the nomination because he's too liberal!

But hey... he calls himself a Republican so he MUST be a "hypocrite", right?

So it's "news" that a 17 year old product of a broken home (which is now the majority of American families) doesn't like her father's politics?

This is as bad as calling 911 to report underage drinking in your own bar. (Get it?)

I absolutely love the attacks in Rudy's infidelity.

Just goes to show you that cheating, lying under oath, and war is perfectly acceptable behavior... if you're a Democrat.

This is probably all a publicity stunt to gain Rudy a little media attention. I think the guy is a complete fake. He claimed during the debate on CNN that he was a "Survivor" of 9-11. That moron was in his office during the attacks - he came out afterwards to do the showmanship BS. I didn't see him covered in dust and debris with 3rd degree burns on him. He's no survivor, he's just another blow hard politician and a totallitarian at that.

To Jon in Sacramento - I think you have the blinders on, Jon. Believe it or not, we Democrats were not happy with Bill Clinton's peccadillos - however, his actions certainly did NOT rise to the level of impeachable offenses (pretty laughable when you think of the criminal acts going on right now in this administration). We are also aware of the frailty of human beings - we all make mistakes, and divorce does not make you a bad person. However, as Mike said, when you run on a platform of Family Values and try to ram your supposed morals down everyone's throats (and try to legislate things that have no business being legislated like the morning-after pill and birth control) you can be damned sure that we will point out the hypocrisy. And the way he handled his divorce from Donna Hanover was just disgusting and cowardly. Giuliani is a morally corrupt opportunist who was NOT loved in NYC while he was mayor and who, as one reporter commented, would be far worse than Bush if elected President.

I personally know both of Mr. Giuliani and Ms. Hanover's children and can tell you that they are both very kind, intelligent human beings that are trying to lead the most normal lives possible despite the very public situations that they have been through because of their parents. Please do not insult them when you can only base your opinions of them on what you see or hear from the media.

Try to leave Mr. Giuliani's children out of this election. They have very little to do with him in or out of the political spotlight and only stand to be further negatively affected by upcoming events.

Thank you.

College Student in PA,

Actually it's pretty easy to reject an invite into a group. All you have to do is click the "Reject" button. I'd imagine a lot of students get friend and group invites. Most students aren't that desperate to accept every invite that comes their way (I reject most stuff). Guiliani's daughter probably didn't think that anyone in the media would be looking at her Facebook when joined an Obama support group. A lot of students don't realize that.

Mike ~ Staatsburg, NY

I never suggested Rudy has never made any mistakes. Rather I asked you to point out where he attacked other candidates on their marriage. The guy's been divorced - twice. BFD.

Again, the irony here is you will support a candidate whose spouse was sued for sexual harrassment (paid the accuser $750,000 - lost his law license), accused of sexual harrassment by Kathleen Willey (democratic constituent), accused of Rape by Juanita Broddrick, and lied under oath to a grand jury (AND THAT'S THE SHORT LIST OF ACCUSERS).

Your reply is... but Guiliani has been divorced twice!

LMAO. Uh huh - you just keep those moral blinders bolted in place, Mikey. I'm sure Hillary has the highest negative ratings because of "the vast right wing conspiracy". But hey good news - when the bank starts to foreclose on your house, Hillary will save you!

I don't know. How do you become so busy and important that you don't go to your child's graduation. No matter what, your child should come first whether they are 9 mos old or 60 years old. Giuliani, a man who does not respect his own children's needs and he is predicting who will be ticket for President and he is best shot at beating Clinton??? Oh NO, weak, weak, weak.

Jon ~ Sacramento, CA

"I see… you’re more upset because a conservative candidate DIVORCED their former spouse rather than cheating with dozens of women???"

Strrrrrrrrrrrike 2!

Not only did Giuliani have an open, very public affair with Judith Nathan - now the THIRD Mrs. Giuliani - but he had another affair while married to his second wife, whom, by the way, he cheated on his FIRST wife with.

That might be strike 2 and strike 3 for you, all in one post! LOL

Not only that, but he had the class and decency to announce his separation from Ms. Hanover at a press conference... before even telling her!

So, you want to talk about "family values?" Yay? Nay?

I didn't think so.

Giuliani and Clinton are pretty similar on the social issues. They both have things to hide, but at least the election won't be about gays, gun laws or abortion, because they agree on those issues.

"How many women Bill has slept with is Hillary’s problem, not mine, and note that it’s not the Democrats trying to make government so small it fits in your bedroom."

I see... you're more upset because a conservative candidate DIVORCED their former spouse rather than cheating with dozens of women??? A divorce somehow invites your charge of hypocrisy but repeated infidelity "is none of your business".

And you can't see how ridiculous you sound?

You might want to call a striiike on my argument - but you're not even in the game!

CNN has hit rock bottom. It is widely known that CNN is no longer a standard for good-quality, objective journalism, and this article proves it. I'm proud to say I'll be going to BBC for my news from now on.

"You resemble an oddly cynical slice of society. Because conservative candidates support “traditional family values” doesn’t mean THEY are perfect. And yes many get divorces! GASP."

Strrrrrrrrrrrrike 1!

Next time Bill or Hillary run for office ON A FOUNDATION of so-called "traditional family values," knock yourself out in calling them hypocrites. Unfortunately for you, it's the bible thumpers on the other side with 3 ex-wives a piece, kids getting nailed for illegal posession of prescription drugs, drunk driving, winding up in rehab, etc.

When you RUN ON family values, the least you can do is have your own family in order.

P.S. Bill and Hillary have been married, what, 35 years? Have an educated, from all indications balanced and decent child? How many women Bill has slept with is Hillary's problem, not mine, and note that it's not the Democrats trying to make government so small it fits in your bedroom.

Try again.

God, our media has hit bottom and is drilling right through.

Hear that Anderson Cooper will be doing a story about how Chelsea Clinton has refused to shop at her parents' favorite deli and the Democratic strategists our doing everything they can to prevent it from becoming too big of a story.

GREAT job, guys, keep up the good work!

Its quiet sad that we've come to a time when fathers try to mend their relationships with their offspring just to look good in the eyes of the public. It seems as though his kids are being deprived of the basic right of freedom to speak and think what they believe, and in turn they are being forced to show alliance to a man who seems to have little to do with their lives when the public isn’t watching.

EVERY party (dem, repub, green, etc) has elements of hypocrisy - so why when the shouting and finger-pointing when a republican has been divorced? I don't recall Rudy thumping the Bible on anyone or blasting other candidates on the marital issues.

The hypocrite in this whole situation actually is the person who rips Rudy but warmly accepts Hillary and Bill (who has had more women accuse him of sexual harrassment than the total number of spouses/ former spouses of the entire Republican field!)

You're analysis is correct - The Clintons - anything for power.

Anyone who supports Guilliani would probably support a dictator. We have just been through 7 years of very divisive government. Enough already! Guilliani is extremely divisive. It may have helped straightened out NYC but he stepped on a lot of toes to do it. He made sure that he got the credit. When his time was up, he used 9/11 to become a millionaire. Now he uses 9/11 to strike terror so that people will vote for him.

Thanks, but no thanks we have had enough cowboys with false bravado, we need a brain with diplomatic skills this time.

As for his children, they are adults and can support whomever they want. But the relationship that he has with them is an important indicator of how he will deal with countries and other leaders. As for his wife, how about the tiara she has been photographed wearing? Is she rehearsing to be queen?

Right on JCM;we need Ross Perot or someone like him in the race. Then maybe the news media would have some real substance (candidates talking about the real issues) to report on. I
glad to hear Rudy loves his kids, but that will not get my vote for him

For those complaining it's no surprise Liberal CNN is reporting this, to you I say, too bad! It's news, and you won't find it on FOX because that station is operated by Guiliani's cohorts.

As for anyone supporting this guy, you need a lesson in NYC politics dating 1993 to 2001, when he was one of the most divisive and mean-spirited mayors in recent time. Haven't we had enough of that with Bush II? The only Guiliani non-NYC residents know is the 9-11 photo-op mayor who didn't do anything other than make pretty speaches to calm the populace. Did you know that after the 1993 WTC bombing, he built the NYC Office of Emergency Management in, you guessed it, the WTC on the 60something floor? How stupid! Did you know that he left NYC with a defecit? Did you know he's a micro-manager who doesn't know the definition of compromise? Did you know he's one of the biggest flip-flopper on social issues in order to gain Red-state support? Wake up! It's no surprise that his daugther won't support him, despite the acrimony left by her parent's bitter divorce.

Did you all miss this paragraph?

But a spokeswoman for Caroline said "her action didn’t mean that she is supporting Obama, or any other candidate in particular. “Before the presidential campaign got underway, Caroline added herself to a list on Facebook as an expression of interest in certain principles,” Joannie C. Danielides said in a statement. “It was not intended as an indication of support in a presidential campaign and she has removed it. Caroline is not commenting on the 2008 election.”

However, it is world news that Giuliani has an estranged relationship with his children. I certainly could understand how his children might have issues with their father.

Giuliani should not even approach a subject relating to adoption or children in any context given his track record as a father. His son publicy stated he was too busy with his golf to endorse Giuliani's Campaign in any manner.

Just like most all liberals - they either came from lots of money and they are guilty for not having to work a day in their life...or they are looking for the lifetime entitlement programs sponsored by the Democrats - either way - they are not what this country needs...cut off any trust fund - and make her work for a living...see if she doesn't start thinking for herself - I believe Democrats are missing the common sense DNA strand - fyi - Republicans don't eat babies - Hillary made that up!!!

I think the fact that Rudy doesn't "comment on (his) children" speaks for itself. His children neither comment on nor support him -- in his presidential campaign or personally. I'm New Yorker and a Republican, who once was a staunch supporter of Giuliani. "Once" was before we started looking closely at Rudy Giuliani the man, the husband and the father. While he might get high marks as "America's mayor", on a personal level he doesn't seem to be a particularly nice guy -- at all. This will catch up with him as the campaign progresses.

I'm really disappointed in CNN - I don't support Giuliani politically but this morning you put the girl who publicized this trivial finding on air. It was clear that the girl (Caldwell) was simply enjoying the opportunity to be on TV and her recount of her "deathdefying discovery of ...Caroline Giuliani's undercover facebook profile" was just unnecessary. Clearly, Caldwell is just and aggressive girl looking for someone to hurt. I hope Caroline Giuliani realizes that any intelligent human would see that in reality, the publication of this story is just embarrassing for Caldwell - and CNN, I'm disappointed, I gave you more credit for worthy news that this.

Way to be a bunch of journalistic cowards who are so desperate for a headline you are willing to invalidate true substance. I used to be a staunch supporter, but the older I get the more I realize how each side is driven by stockholder value. I don't know at which point a fetus becomes a human life, but do you know at which point you lose your integrity?

I love people who blame the children for the rancid enviroment there parents created.
Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance."
Does that sound like any Republican's you have met lately???

Can someone please write something meaningful, like about how our country's infra-structure is falling apart because we've become the oposite of isolationists? To be a leader one must have a foundation, and this country has let its government forget that...

If Ghouliani cannot bother to support his own children, what makes anyone think he would support ours?

A vote for Ghouliani is a vote for a divided nation, adultery, and negligence. This is news because it shows just how unlikable the man is.

To James from Phoenix: Considering how Ron Jr. was right to criticize the oppressive nature of the Reagan regime (that we are still under), maybe it is poignant to hear how Ghouliani's kid feels the same way, no? Yes.

If these people actually used Facebook then they would know that this means nothing. I and many other college students get invitations to join groups from friends/others. Most people don't turn down requests to be nice(or they get so many they just say yes to all to make it easy). Its just a mistake on her part.

I rejoice at Obama because I feel like he could bring the fractured nation and the fractured world together in some very important ways.

To me, Obama is a visionary leader. He has far more experience in the real world than Clinton or any of the other candidates. Everything I hear and read about him furthers this.

He was a civil rights attorney, he worked to rise people above their stations in the real world, not the ivory towers of Washington. To me, Washington experience is the most gross, unimportant kind.

Barry Obama is the kind of leader that comes along once a generation if we’re lucky, and I thank our lucky stars he decided to run.

I’ve just read “the Audacity of Hope” and it was so stirring, so clear, so clearly written not by a ghost writer but in the voice of the man himself. Now I'm starting on "Dreams of My Father", which so far has also been so pure and telling that I can't put it down.

Make no mistake people, Barry Obama is the real deal, he’s the sort of fighter that we need oh so desperately in the single most important election of our lives.

I would go door to door for this candidate, I would believe he would look at any issue either foriegn or domestic with clear eyes and make decisions that were both humane and smart for our country and the world.

The other candidates all strike me as fodder for lobbists, career politicians.

I remember how moved I was when I heard Obama's speech during Kerry’s convention. They were words I'd been hoping to hear for years.

I thought he should run then. When he announced he'd run I was driving, it was on the radio. I was so relieved, so inspired that he was running I literally had to pull over and I spent a few minutes there collecting myself, trying not to cry, because for my daughter's sake, I realize the importance of an inspiring leader at this time. I am scared of so many possible futures, but a future with Barrack Obama as president doesn't scare me, it provokes and inspires me, to action.

I love all these hypocritical Republicans running on "family values" who are on their 3rd wife and don't even attend their child's high school graduation. Who doesn't attend such an important FAMILY event?

Why don't all these politicians just leave the phrase "family values" alone? Oh yeah - then they couldn't demonize my family just because it is comprised of a same-sex couple.
