I am always amused by people who bring up the Hillary spin of 'experience', but I think Bill said it best when he debated Bush Sr.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMlrSG1xb5k" rel="nofollow">Clinton on Experience</a>

Clinton is as slick a politician as they come ..and if that's what you want, yet again, a slick politician that hits all the talking points they think you want to hear...by all means vote for Hillary. But when she speaks of experience, try not to forget that she not only voted for it but supported the Iraq war long into its occupation, changing her tune when the polls were so overwhelmingly against it. The fact that she is Bill's wife is why she is polling so highly .. as Hillary Brown/Smith/whatever, she'd be nowhere. But since she is playing the 'Bill' card so often, remember that Bill gave us NAFTA and the disgraceful do-nothing in Rwanda that allowed the kind of genocide she claims she cares about now in Darfur. (Perhaps Madelaine Albright should be reminded of HER experience there too!) Experience? hmm...3 counts where it didn't exactly support her claim to good leadership. And all that so-called leadership lead to nothing but a laughing-stock catastrophe when she tried her version of Health Care during the Clinton years. Failure is a leadership quality now, huh? hmmm....ok.

You can follow the spin..listen to the pundits and be fooled again..and again. If people haven't learned anything at all from the lying spin of the Bush administration and the media that was all too happy to help it along, fall for it again. Just don't complain about different party, same old manure.

Obama has an ability to bring people together to solve the extreme challenges we face in this country and the world. He has the integrity, judgement, and commitment to improving the lives of all people everywhere that places him in the same league as the greatest leaders we've ever known. Anyone who tries to claim differently simply has not taken the time to inform themselves. If you care at all about your future and your children's future, you'd take the time.

Refreshing. As a Republican supporter I applaude Obama's recent comments with the media "watching". We need more candor in this country from our so called leaders instead of all this pandering and trying not to say the wrong this. Heck, putting your self out there is what "Statesmen" do. When was the last time we had a Statesman lead this country anyway. Grow up America and applaud boldness to say and do the right thing. We are so distracted with reality shows while Rome burns. Let's take a closer look at those willing to speak out. And shame on Hilary and the rest tearing down Obama like wild animals at a feast just because he said what should be said, that if Masharif does not deal with the terrorists who attacked us and we know where they are, we will take them out. We would never have won WWII if we got pre-authorization to go after the bad guys. This PC would is killing us. I say God Bless Obama and anyone else willing to lay bare the truth.

I enjoyed Obama's singing and wish he would (could?) have sung more. The woman who sang a line right after him sounded like Ana Gabriel, though.

(I copied this because I think it applies, I hope the original poster, noted at the bottom, doesn't mind.

So can I ask a question?
How much experience does one get from being first lady? People and HRC’s campaign keep saying she has 35 years of experience. As first lady of Arkansas and the U.S, all I know they do is greet visitors and decorate the white house for christmas, make speeches and make public appearances and travel overseas to seem diplomatic.
She hasn’t spent that much time in the senate. Wow… such hardcore experience. I’ll throw my support behnid the candidate who worked helping disadvantaged Americans on the ground directly, who did civil rights law, who taught constitutional law and who strongly believe in turning the page. This is what america needs, not superficial and artificially inflated experience which basically draws on the substanceless status quo if the establishment that invaded Iraq, did not catch Osama Bin Laden when Clinton had the chance to, did nothing about Rwanda, created a Nafta that secured Canadian and Mexican jobs more than it did American jobs and opportunities.
Being a ceremonial figure in the white house doesn’t give you the experience you need. Avoiding specifics and hiding behind semantics doesn’t give you the credibility you need. Thats what Mrs. Clinton has done.
I think people need to re-evaluate the so call experience of Sen. Clinton when compared to Obama’s.
The Audacity of CNN’s clinton’s supposed inevitability is no matah against the Audacity of Hope.

Can we just stop to be republicans and democrats for a minute and look at the issues that really affect us as a nation and push for this issues to be in the front corner of our daily discourse.

THAT... was absolutely classic.

Obama is a master politician, I swear, I love this dude... He shows he can relax and have fun, and he picked the perfect song to give it an undercurrent of meaning about the charged times we live in.

If you know the lyrics to the entire song, it's quite beautiful, about sacrifice and longing for a more beautiful life. Good choice.

As a risk taker, Obama is the man, and time after time his personality, smarts and passion come through where others look stale.

I would never vote for Obama,Hillary,Romney,Guiliani, or the rest of the corporate mainstream media candidates. This is not a democracy, this is a shell game. Ron Paul all the way in 08'.

We're in America...lose the Hispanic ordeal. If it were Mexico it would be different, but it's not. I eagerly anticipate Obama's pending loss...he is an atrocity to the government, nation, and world.

That was such a scripted set-up. Did anyone not notice the background music was readily available for Obama & Maria Quintanilla's version was already keyed up & ready to go the second he finished. My guess is the lyrics were on a sheet right in front of his face to boot. Fake fake fake!!

And just why should we give a flip if a candidate can sing or not???? Cheeze, if that's the criteria, then I guess we should be looking at Britney Spears for Prez. Oh wait, she can't sing either, can she? ;-)

"The ever humble Obama"??????????? It has reached the point where I have to keep a bucket nearby whenever I read something about Obama. The media, especially the news (I use that term lightly) have no shame when it comes to fawning all over the pretender.

Do I care? Can we focus instead on how Obama, Clinton, and Edwards thumb their noses at property rights and want to stop holding terrorists accountable for their actions just because they're holed up in a place where the war is unpopular? Singing ability, gender, and race are at about the bottom of my list of the most important issues in this nomination process, but these are the kinds of stories that are constantly jammed in our faces.

"The MSM is way too hard on Barack."

What? They LOVE him. In any other nation, he'd never have made it this far with NO experience and such naivete.

If he were a Republican, the dolts at CNN would have nailed him like they do GOPers.

...The ever-humble Obama...

How can someone who has written TWO books about themselves, and who began running for President right after being sworn in as a Senator be characterized as, "humble"?

Humble folk don't tend run think they can be, or try to run for President.
