To be exact, Ron Paul is not 'in the low single digits in national polls' but 'in the low single digits in likely GOP primary voters' (computed with so-called correction factors by the polling companies adjusted according to the experiences of previous years).

That is a big difference, because the polling institutions have to guess how many of the ca. 1000 persons they call on landlines will actually vote in GOP primaries and caucuses.

Nobody knows the real percentage of support for Ron Paul, but he won several state straw polls in a row and also the latest Fox News phone poll after the recent NH debate with 33% (Huckabee 2nd with 18%, Giuliani 3rd with 15%).

I believe this parade was a defining moment in the Ron Paul rEVOLution. It actually put fear in the faces of the other camps, as they had already witness the domination in the sign wars. Romney and Brownback had people pulling out Ron Paul signs and we were just putting Ron Paul signs between theirs, but still overwhelmed them. Then we had 10 times as many people standing with signs, some with Texas size signs (5x12) that dwarfed all others, and won the war of signs. But the march put us over the top.

Once again. thanks cnn for semi supporting ron paul. This is the beginning of things to come. The revolution has begun. Many of my friends and people around my town support ron paul too. I see the signs in yards when i drive and on peoples car in support of Ron Paul. He has my full and total support and our local radio station owner here supports him too and plugs his name A LOT too. Which increases his exposure. Thanks CNN and Harry at WBCR 1470am maryville Tn. Kudos

Ron Paul is a man of few words, but his message is clear, freedom and individual rights of Americans'. I don't know exactly what the comment about blowing the lid off the 9/11 and area 51 conspiracy is all about and i'm positive Ron Paul doesn't either. But what i'm sure about is that Dr. Paul is for keeping America safe and most of all the People Of the U.S.A, by keeping enfringing gov. off our backs and to represent our voices in Washington.. that includes you Anderson Cooper. now go to ronpaul2008.com and donate time and especially money to his campaign thankyou.

Here it is...a Ron Paul ticker article and only 6 responses all day. Is that the extent of his support? I would have expected to see hundreds of comments posted judging from the cries of media bias his supporters seem so quick to unleash.

To Braken in San Diego...No, Ron Paul did not tell his supporters to jump on Romney buses. It is not Ron Paul's character to tell his supporters to DO anything. His message is one of freedom. You have the right to do as you please, even if he doesn't agree with it...as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. Personally I would feel uncomfortable riding on a Romney bus...but if someone did, and they voted for Ron Paul, so what?
I think before you throw an accusation at a person, please give a reference to verify your assertion.
I heard Romney said he was pro-choice, then pro-life, and now he says it's a State Right. Is that a 'so what?'
Ron Paul has stated for 30 years he's pro-life and hasn't moved from this position his entire political career. Ending the Iraq war...now...is pro-life in my estimation.

Isn't this the guy who told his supporters to jump on the Romney buses and vote instead for him? So with all the help from the Romney camp, how did he end up? Did he send Romney a thank you note for giving his campaign a boost, or is he just the type who likes to use other people to give him a boost? It doesn't sound like he would make a good president.

I believe my own delusions rather than any “scientific” things I don’t understand. Why pay attention to “facts” or “reality” when we can trust internet polls and anecdotes?

The last time Ron Paul ran for President (in 1988) he got .47% of the vote. If the mainstream media would just give him a chance he could double that this year.

Ron will blow the lid off the 9/11 Area 51 alien cospiracy and usher in a thousand years of peace and goodness. When Ron is elected he will ban taxes, abortions and wars and we’ll all get big bags of free weed!

GO RON PAUL! STOP THE LIES! PAY NO ATTENTION TO "SCIENCE" POLLS!

First they laugh at you, then they ignore you, then they attack you, then you win-Gandhi

I believe people in the streets represents public opinion better than a "scientific" telephone poll. Glad to see its at least being reported on this site.
I'm predicting all the Ron Paul supporters are about to "spam" the voting booths in person. Then maybe the main stream will acknowledge how much support Ron Paul really has.
