The GOP victor in a nonbinding beauty contest in a rural state is totally irrelevant. Repellicans will lose big in 2008 unless the Dems nominate an unelectable candidate, which it now appears they intend to do.

70% of America is against the war and the GOP foriegn policy.

    Karl Rove quits.

Signs that the GOP unless they elect a Ron Paul type candidate, will be handing over the Whitehouse to the first black or female president in US history.

This is going to be fun. If Ron Paul doesn't make it, I will campagin my tail off to see that a democrat wins!

As "irrelevant" as this straw poll was in a "rural" state, it was a test to show the ineptitude of the voting machines once again. And it showed that the right man will again be shafted. Ron Paul won.

Laf, not so fast. None of the republican "frontrunners" are going to beat a democrat, period. Not even Hillary. Forget it, the money the dems have is orders of magnitude higher. It's a foregone conclusion.

Only Ron Paul can beat a democrat, because his record is completely consistent (unlike everyone else's) and his Message has universal appeal.

The clear winner of the Debate was Ron Paul, the winner of the poll is in doubt and question. The clear loser is the American Public unless it wakes up and sees what is going on and how the Republicans and Democrats are all the same. The only standout candidate is Ron Paul.

Before you throw the baby our with the bath water, try looking into him, his background and his policies. He just might be the last honest man on Capitol Hill.

Why is the main stream media is blocking or boycotting Ron Paul. I am a life long Republican. I am also an Iraqi War veteran and disabled veteran. Is this America or a conspiracy state. He is the only candidate. The rest are all the same. I can't tell the difference between Democrats and Republicans any more. I beg you please help Ron Paul save our great Republic. To me my friends and family he is our only and best hope. For our children for our future, we must have a tomorrow . The country cannot go on as is. I beseech you to more robustly cover this great American. Restorer of the Republic and possibly the last defender of the Constitution.
    Sincerely,
    RFD
