Norman Hsu failed to appear at a bail hearing Wednesday.

(CNN) – Norman Hsu, a well-connected Democratic fundraiser who had contributed to Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, failed to appear at a bail reduction hearing in Redwood City, California on Wednesday.

Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported on questionable donations obtained by Hsu from a family in San Francisco, and the Los Angeles Times reported that Hsu was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant because he had failed to appear for sentencing in a criminal case in 1991. On Friday, Hsu surrendered to authorities in San Mateo Country, California and posted $2 million in cash as bail. This time around, a “no bail” warrant has been issued for Hsu’s arrest by a judge in San Mateo County.

After Hsu’s criminal history came to light, Clinton, Obama, and several Democratic congressional candidates all said they would not keep Hsu’s contributions. Hsu’s situation also has cast scrutiny on “bundlers” — individuals who prevail upon their network of friends, family, and business associates to donate to a particular candidate’s campaign — in order to raise the large sums of money now necessary to finance a run for president or for Congress.

Citing Hsu and two other Democratic fundraisers who have been the subject of media coverage recently, the Republican National Committee issued a statement Wednesday attacking Democrats. Headlined “Dems Dirty Donors,” the statement says, “Democrats say they will clean up Washington, but when it comes to raising money, Hillary [Clinton] and [Barack] Obama get their hands dirty.”

Tom,

CNN isn't posting my response to you, but probably for good reason. I already answered your question at length (and tore your copies/ scribbler arguments to shreds) on a previous thread which I know for a FACT was POSTED.

So maybe they figure that posting it AGAIN isn't worth it since you obviously can't read?

Tom Dedham, Mass   September 9th, 2007 12:25 pm ET

I'll answer it for you Ricky, "Since we don't know EXACTLY what was on the documents and I was told that they were just copies, I can not make any assumptions based on facts that are not available".

Risks everything for merely copies of the same document. Totally sounds good to me.

I get it Ricky, I agree Bush sucks and Clinton was the most honest and sincere President ever.

I apologize for doubting your simple copies only story, I was wrong.

CNN,

Since you posted the question that Tom Dedham, Mass had for me on this thread regarding Sandy Berger, you can now be fair enough to repost my response that you initially had up and then inexplicably took down.

It's hard to have a dialogue on a topic with someone when the questions and/or answers intermittingly disappear in mid-convo.

Thanks.

Tom Dedham, Mass,

As I stated previously, Berger probably DID have something to hide - probably the fact that Clinton didn't try hard ENOUGH to get Bin Laden prior to 911.

But that doesn't change the fact that those were STILL copies that had no extraneous writings on them as an investigation had bared out.

See, I agree with your general point, however I also know you're REACHING for "facts" to try to prove it.

I also already stated what incriminating measures that Dubya went through to hide his screw-ups. But where 911 is concerned, there's blame to be placed on plenty of other presidential administrations other than just the last two or three. They just happen to encompass the events that are fresher in our minds, so they're easier to point the finger at.

Tom Dedham, Mass   September 7th, 2007 12:48 pm ET

I am sure that you take care of your beloved cuticles.

We are not talking about Bush here, he is not running again, she is.

Respond to what I wrote about, try and focus.

Since whomever moderates this site, loves cutting off or deleting most responses to you, I need to add this last question, do you stil believe that Sandy Berger risked his career, money, freedom, law license to STEAL 5 copies of the same document, destroy 3 of the "copies" but returns the last 2 for no reason?

You believe that the 3 that he risked everything to destroy had nothing incriminating or would have put him and Clinton in a negative light?

If you believe that, well, I just don't know.

Tom Dedham, Mass,

"Add him to the list of people that run away instead of answering questions about the Clintons, or refuse to testify against, commit suicide, die mysterious deaths or just go to jail with nothing to say."

You mean like J.H. Hatfield, Mark Lombardi, Danny Casalaro, and Gary Webb .. all Bush family biographers … all dead … of suicide?

I know, "WOW! What are the odds?" you ask?

About 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000.

Look at the bright side Tom, at least his name isnt Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari! He would be the guy who donated some $15,000 to the House Republicans' campaign committee over three years … AND sent $152,000 to Pakistan and Afghanistan to support an Afghanistan terrorist training camp and thus was charged with terrorism financing, material support of terrorism and money laundering.

No story there.

Keep pointing that finger Tom, and you'll continue to get an eyeful of cuticle in return!

Wasn't fixing this part of the dems last campaign promises? Richards is even boasting about it.

Talk about liars again for me.., please.

This guy was a donor.

What about Mit Romney's Finance committee co-chair Alan Fabian? You know, the guy who WORKED for Romney's campaign, who was indicted for 23 counts of various illegal activity? Why isn't this making the news?

Beatrice, Modesto CA   September 5th, 2007 8:38 pm ET

Dirty money: what built the Clinton Mafia and continues to feed it today. America, do you want a president who gleefully took money from militant Chinese fugitives? My guess is no.

Tom Dedham, Mass   September 5th, 2007 7:38 pm ET

Add him to the list of people that run away instead of answering questions about the Clintons, or refuse to testify against, commit suicide, die mysterious deaths or just go to jail with nothing to say.

Nice and clean as usual, eh, people.

No story here.

HSU must have seen the poll numbers showing Hillary leading the democratic nominees - bolted for the Far East and will return when a Clinton Pardon can be secured.

Why does ALL this sound so darn familiar????? Clintons and campaign donors fleeing the country???
