COLUMBIA, South Carolina (CNN) — Here's a quick look at what's making political news in South Carolina today:

Sen. John McCain continues his "No Surrender Tour" today with stops in Aiken, Lexington, Sumter and a grad finale at the Citadel in Charleston.

Michelle Obama will be in Anderson this afternoon, as well.

The State does more breakdown of the Winthrop poll numbers that came out last week, noting that while African-Americans here are overwhelmingly Democrat, they're still socially conservative.
