Here is some advice. Save your money. You don't need to spend your hard earned cash to read about someone slamming our President. Just read the paper or go online.

I read the first 3 chapters of Obama's The Audacity of Hope and it was the same thing.

Read a good novel.

I think that the most popular sport for the next 100 years will be Bush bashing.
He is so easy. The people who voted for him should hang their head and be taxed extra for the cost of their stupid war.

Once again, we already know Bush is a moron, however, given Fox's record, I'm surprised he has the guts to spew crap about another person. Fox should bury himself - he did absolutely nothing to help his country or people and is a disgrace.

Steve Florida — poverty and the migration of Mexican nationals to the U.S. is in part because we gutted their economy with NAFTA. And ignorance is a growing problem right here in the USA, where informed, patriotic American citizens are regularly insulted by yahoos like you.

Hey "Terry", any idea who passed NAFTA, i'll give you a few minutes......

I get it Bush is an idiot, but this stinkin', worthless loser couldn't even run his own country so I consider the source.

Maybe you socialists think it is important that we all speak Spanish, but thankfully we will elect a President in 2008 that will throw the Illegal ones out, thus allowing for the ones that want to become part of this country and learn our ways, to be able to enter easier and LEGALLY.

Moe, NY
"If Mr. Fox had helped his fellow man instead of himself then America would not have the immigration problem it is now facing. The Mexican government is known world wide for its corruption. Why didn't this man bring jobs into his country… (outside of american corporations looking for cheap labor?) that alone would want to make Mexicans actually stay in their country. American corporations have sent many jobs out of this country to Mexico…who is profiting?…certainly not the poor Mexican citizen…while in the meantime American workers are hurting because of corporate america taking advantage of cheap labor."

And who allowed Mr. Fox these privilidges MOE? The President of the United States of America, George W. Bush. And not only America paid the price. Cheap labour is costing many Nations internationally.

well..since they will have to call Giuliani president for 8 years starting in 2008

Does America not have enough problems nationally, constitutionally, internationally without fools planning to vote Giuliani for President! Give your heads a shake. The world is sick, sore, and tired of your incomptence of electing Presidents.

Just what the world needs. Rudy, another Bush Clone with the same IQ, lack of experience, war strategies, international negativity, and then we can throw in his baggage on family and marriage issues! OH YES, Vote Rudy! To have more of the same!

God help Americans.

Looks like John from Florida bought into the Republican's "MoveOn.Org is the enemy " propaganda.
A fine representative indeed.

Oh, and about Mr. Bush. A president (or a general for that matter) needs to earn respect as well. They start off with the benefit of the doubt, but when they blow it over and over, they begin to lose it.

Democrats don't hate Bush for the heck of it, you know. And many Republicans I know can't stand him either. Our country's reputation is completely going down the tubes and yet there's still folks out there who are too blind by partisan politics (or pure ignorance) to see it.
Sad times indeed.

He is among the worst american presidents, and his international poltics and domestic economic policies are failures.

Maybe there's some circular logic here...The office of President was respectable when our our most respected citizens were elected to that office. Now, it seems, we have a cache of candidates who run saying, "Vote for me because I can win the election and beat those other evil guys who will be much worse than I will be." Where are the great thinkers? Where are the great orators? Where are the great statesmen/women? Where are the Aericans who believe that being powerful carries with it a responsibility to use that power for good?

What the American political process neds is a good, old fashioned depression--1930s style. maybe if we were all trading apples for masking tape on street corners, we'd be able to see past wedge issues and money-grubbing liars and elect someone with a brain who isn't afraid to tell the truth.

Or, we could sidestep the epiphany and elect Obama.

Considering that most ex-politician tell-all books are highly personal navigating somewhere between fact and tabloid, why take this one serious? Why hold a Mexican memoir writer to a higher standard than our own? After all, if such memoirs would not claim witnessing some new and borderline outrageous events, they probably would never see daylight.

Possibly you meant overwhelming national response? But underwhelming fits better for sure , I doubt we will see this book on the National Best-seller list. Paul, joining liberal groups to make yourself feel apart of something, doesnt give you the right to answer for anyone else. Tomorrow Ill be sure to ask around to see if anyones heard of the book, thats so underwhelming to you.

John, you've got to be kidding. Anyone who comes to the "defense" of this alleged "president" - who trampled all over the Constitution in violation of our rights as Americans and his oath of office - is un-American. There has never been a president in the history of our beloved country who has put personal gain above honor and security like Bush has. Ever heard of Colin Powell or Alan Greenspan? Not exactly liberals, John. (And, by the way, "taco's" isn't possessive. Maybe YOU should learn English if you're going to live here.)

Spare me please...I am not a fan of Bush, but this Fox joker is toooo much. Obviously he did nothing to help Mexico. If Mr. Fox had helped his fellow man instead of himself then America would not have the immigration problem it is now facing. The Mexican government is known world wide for its corruption. Why didn't this man bring jobs into his country... (outside of american corporations looking for cheap labor?) that alone would want to make Mexicans actually stay in their country. American corporations have sent many jobs out of this country to Mexico...who is profiting?...certainly not the poor Mexican citizen...while in the meantime American workers are hurting because of corporate america taking advantage of cheap labor. Now America has to put up with Mexican truck drivers coming into our country...taking jobs away from our truck drivers. This idiot can bash Bush all he wants (which I do too), but he has no room to talk. What makes me sad is he will probably make money off this book and still the poor Mexican citizens are still hurting...I do not expect him to share his ill gotten gains (lies) with the people who really need it!

Not sure what John FL's comment has to do with the undisputable fact that bush is the most incompetent leader america has ever had...
this is not some dirty little secret in a small circle of weirdos, this is an overwhelmingly blatant fact that was discovered when bush started speaking into a microphone (and was later photographed with the "receiver" wire down his suit back)....

when does america say "Please...Enough".

I would say this is just one of the many Bush Bashing books to hit the shelves.

I mean, is there anything good to say about the Bush Years?

If he doesn't like America or our President, stay in Mexico and quit trying to turn our country into an abysmal, hopeless, poverty driven country, such as the one he ran and had an opportunity to fix....but didn't. And since when is knowing Spanish an American requirement or in any way desirable? Just to satisfy a failed leader of the criminal ridden land, which he lead further into chaos and left it's citizens even more hopeless than they were before his tenure. What a hippocrite this guy is..another one who will say anything for a buck (not a peso!). Look at the economic success that George Bush has lead in the US. Virtually no unemployment, inherited a recession and turned it around into a doubling of the stock market prices (lots of happy IRA holders and 401k contributors, and DECREASING the federal deficit last year by 36BILLION more than expected, due to increased revenues and despite a very real war on terror and in Iraq. Not bad for a C student, but one with integrity and a purpose other than making himself rich. NO I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN, I am a real Democrat, like Joe Lieberman, and not like Clinton's bagman for illegal Chinese money, AL GORE (the one who sells pollution credits, but doesn't do a thing to reduce pollution, only to make money off of it.

Bush not liked by a world leader? Say it ain't so! All the poor misunderstood schmuck has done is blow off international treaties and the UN, massaged the shoulders of the German chancellor in front of the world as she grimaced, started a horrific war based on lies and ambition, given Israel free reign to use U.S. weapons against Lebanese civilians, threatens Russia with missiles on its border, informed Canada that their airspace is not sovereign and that we WILL test ballistic missiles over their heads, rewarded incompetent buddies with high end jobs, refused to join the world community in addressing climate change, mangled his own language (hence his being called a "moron" by a top Canadian official in his first year in office), fired military commanders and generals who would not parrot his Iraq debacle...the list is as long as his war. No leaders like him? Wait...there's servile, sweater-bearing Tony Blair. Hopefully both will have several years behind bars for their war crimes to scratch each other's backs and flatter each other. George Bush is not my president but my daily embarassment.

Hey John, this isnt the first book to come out saying Bush is a lousy leader and/or human being. Have you considered that the underwhelming national response to this might have less to do with politics than with the fact that he is indeed viewed as a bad president by the majority of both this country and this planet? No, I somehow doubt you have.

Go figure, some guy from south of the border where poverty is the rule of thumb, whose people are flocking to America, and where drugs and drug lords are as common as taco's is going to attack our president. Back when our nation had class, before MoveOn.Org ruled the democratic party, there would have been a united response in defense of our president, but that was back before personal gain was rated higher than nation honor and security.
