Again i disagree with your assertion. In the last 2-3 weeks the new slogan is that Mrs. Clinton does not take a stand on any issue. This is a plain white lies perpetuated by some people in the media (most especially, Chris Mathews, Tucker of MSNBC and his cohorts) and aides of other candidates who want to mold the opinion of voters. Mrs Clinton does not take stand but she voted against the resolution condemning Petraeus Ad which was raised by the republicans to score political point after a similar resolution was passed condemning paersonal attacks on all uniformed men and women. Obama absented from voting. Mrs Clinton does not take stand but she voted to allow state department to consider economic sanctions against the militant wing of Iranian government even though that will be unpopular with her base. Obama absented. The list is as long as the pages can allow. Honesty is a virtue, if you can't be just and equitable, you do not have the moral right to criticize another person. Which issue do you not know her stand on? Which issue does any of the leading candidates not have stand on? Please let me know.

Everyone else really should just get out of the race. Hillary Clinton consistently demonstrates Presidential like leadership and is always above the fray. While the other guys are bumbling around trying to clarify their positions, Hillary Clinton speaks clearly and firmly on the issues. Joe Biden does pretty well and John Edwards is finally coming into his own. Barack, to me, never has demonstrated leadership. Bill Richardson is solid, but seems unsure of himself. Dodd seems knowledgeable, but not quite Presidential. Kucinich and Gravel are loons. My first inclination was to support Clinton, but I wanted to hear the others in the many debates that have taken place. Each debate, Hillary Clinton just solidifies my support with every sentence. I will be very happy when there is ANOTHER PRESIDENT CLINTON!!!!

Hillary voted for a resolution which many democrats, including far more on that stage than Gravel (who of course is the only one mentioned because he's considered crazy- Biden and Dodd voted AGAINST this bill, and Edwards likewise took Clinton to task for her vote) believe is a stealth declaration of war on Iran. None of this made it into the article. This article is nothing less than an attempt to salvage some semblance of Hillary's dignity with a heavy layer of spin. I can't agree or disagree with Sen. Mike Gravel's scolding of Hillary Clinton, as I am not privy to exactly what the "resolution that acknowledged the potential danger Iran poses, entailed."

I might suggest CNN could have enlightened readers with a copy of the same. I for one, would be interested in reading the resolution. And I didn't find a link to the resolution on this thread.

Please when you write a story always be truthful. Mrs Clinton's response was not what you stated. That was her opening sentence in her 50 seconds response. Why don't you write her response. This is all about painting a candidate in bad light and is not good for democracy. I only hope people that watched the Debate will be honest enough to say the truth here.

It is a rare instance when debate moderators ask him a direct question or allow him to contribute to the discussion (when most other candidates have been given an opportunity to weigh in) Why do they continue to include him the debates? Hilary Clinton's acknowlegement that iran poses a clear and present danger to the USA is dissapointing. Her position on that subject was a tactical political move and not in the best interest of the her nation and the global village at large. I entreat her to be a little bit more honest with herself. After all it is the best policy. As for Obama, I would like him to know that his indicision will win him no votes.

Excellent attack by Gravel!!! Hillary is not a candidate for peace. She's as bad on foreign policy as Giuliani. She's a friend of the Israeli lobby, and like most other candidates, she'll bend over backwards for Israel at the expense of the US. Reprimanding Barack Obama I understand but not Hillary. When my brother a United States Sailor needed help Senator Obama refused even though he had been abused in Obama's home state.
