The CNN Election Express is rolling

CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser and Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider are at work on the CNN Election Express. Press play to take the tour!

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (CNN) - The CNN Election Express is back on the campaign trail, and it’s here to stay. CNN’s campaign bus this morning rolled into Manchester, the Granite State’s largest city.

CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider kicked off our coverage today with a live report in the one p.m. hour of CNN Newsroom. And CNN’s Tom Foreman is here as well, getting ready for AC360’s Raw Politics.

We’re here in New Hampshire, which holds the nation’s first primary, because we’re unveiling later today our new CNN-WMUR poll of New Hampshire voters. And tomorrow the Democratic ’08 White House hopefuls are converging at Dartmouth University for a presidential debate.

The bus, which is part working newsroom and part television studio, is stocked full of technical gadgets that I truly don’t understand, so I won’t even pretend to describe them. What I will say is that the bus will make our lives much easier as we cover the campaign trail from New Hampshire to Iowa to South Carolina and beyond.

– CNN Deputy Political Director Paul Steinhauser

I was wondering if the statement that your election bus got 57 mpg is correct? I'm not sure of the engine type and configuration but 57 mpg seems to be quite alot when compared to city buses. I would be interested in how it gets this mileage?

Has anyone seen this bus yet?

Does it have a big picture of Hillary on the side?

And in related news, I have a car. I drive my car to and from work mostly, but sometimes I drive my car to go shopping for groceries. Occasionally it is my mode of transportation for longer trips.

I like my car. It's awesome. You should see my car.

My daughter loves the bus. We got to take a tour between live shots this afternoon. She can't wait to get back to her first grade class tomorrow and tell everyone how she got to sit in the driver's seat and blow the horn.

We are fired up for this event, me and the people i volunteer with; we're psyched to be part of such an amazing organization...:to get Hillary elected and help begin the difficult process of navigating this country out of the pit of arrogance, irresponsibility and wrecklessness that has dominated everything in foreign and domestic policy since the train left the tracks. (are YOU as tired as i am of hearing about the record number of millionaires in america these days!?)
Please help us put an end to the trail of disaster of the Bush Years...
Finally, a shout out to Republicans as well...:sure we have some disagreements about stuff, but why not sit at the same table together and have a good talk about the critical things that need to get done.
Come join us on a constructive journey OUT of the dark, hopeless pit that Bush has led us into.
There is NO ONE else better qualified.

I think the guy meant to say the bus gives 57 gallons/mile (not miles per gallon)

Hillary and Bill will be renting it out to their biggest supporters (Norman Hsu gets to use it once he gets out on bail). CNN always tries to not show their true colors (far left), but they always fall back into the trap because it feels so natural.

Unbelievable! Out of three posts you have two idiots from Arizona. How likely is that?

Some of the comments are wonderfully hilarious, thanks everyone. I too must ask: if this is CNN's campaign bus, then who is the candidate CNN is campaigning for? Oh yeah, Hillary! In all seriousness, here's a hint: it's incredibly tacky and arrogant to write about your unnecessary, lavish, ugly, gas-guzzling (no bus gets 57mpg) media motor-home. Please reconsider when bringing this to public attention, you don't look good when you do so. It's embarrassing to you, and you don't seem to realize it yet

It works by constantly removing weight from the vehicle. The CNN crew is always shoveling large amounts of crap overboard.

To correct the statement of 57 MPG, the correct Statement is 5.7MPG, a simple misunderstanding. As far as the wasted space in the center, there is none – where do you think the slide room goes when in? Plus there is a lot of add on's that fill that space when they are needed. I will say no more, but I know what I am talking about.

The rolling bus or the roller that went bust? The Democrats, led by Hillary, have CNN and New York Times in their pockets. This leftwing opportunist wants to be President, and is counting on the COMMUNIST News Network (CNN) and New York TERRORISTS (NYT) to become the next President, thereby giving credence to the designs and desires of lurking communists and terrorists who are teaming up to bring down America.

And leaning to the left for the whole stinkin' ride.

Maybe you should check the tires on that side...
