Obama is on the same boat with Huckabee, it is possible to see two losers after Primary election but it is impossible to have two winners after General Election, so two losers can make friends and soothe each other, what is wrong with it?.

Coach Haughton,
you're so right, I was waiting for CNN news about Obama N.Y.rally... wow, that kind of attendance in Hillary's backyard?!... and there's no mention, NOTHING at all. How disappointing - I'm sure you guys in NH will make up for that on the election day. Thank you for you posts.
Go Barack!

Chris,

I enjoy reading your comments. They're well thought, expressed coherently and entertaining.

To say you can only guess he's still in 'the'race' because he's a narcissist is hard to swallow. What race? A few months of preliminary campaigning and a few polls with a sample of 200 registered likely voters?

Have a great weekend,

Yea so how come hillary makes the news by getting and endorsement but cnn seems to have not noticed 24000 people came out for Barack last night. You guys are doing a great job at burying his campaign.

I dare you to post this.

I'm a moderate Republican - theres a difference between the moderates and the "wings" of either party - we research...and think about our choices. At this point I can only guess that Huckabee is still in the race because he's a narcissist...heres how it will boil down - Dems will choose Hillary....and she will choose Obama as her running mate (she will try to draw her socialist criticisms away by bringing in a left wing...hey better than a social) - then Giuliani will get the Republican nomination - he will choose another moderate....since there are none running on the Republican side...he will choose someone - in the end - Rudy will win....as people feel Hillary is not trustworthy...(which is true...)

This match up may be our only chance of actually having a civil debate next year. None of the others on either side seem to have that in them, particularly the front runners.

HEY CNN-

Why doesn't Ron Paul or Huckabee get a picture???? Pictures attract more attention. Is that why you chose not to add a picture? Besides, I am not sure if people know what Paul looks like. You change pictures of Hillary several times on the same news story, you think you could add one here?

I posted a while back on one of these ticker blogs that I thought an Obama/Huckabee ticket would be pretty cool. I still hold to that even though it'll never happen because of our sick twisted us vs. them 'two-party' configuration.

Huckabee has been on the Daily Show and the Colbert Report many times and has a godd rapport with both Jon and Steve. He's got a really quick wit and is a nice guy.

Have a great Friday,

What scares me, is I think America needs a candidate that would come across well on the Daily Show, while Usama Bin Laden might be a contender in that debate style, Jon Steward would need to go, while Colbert would be the 'right before surrender interview'. What candidate can hold comedy with these two?
Give all seven hundred candidates a spot, is there three minutes of news time at the beginning of each show for the all presidential nominees?

Mike Huckabee has the best shot of consolidating the social conservative electorate and then riding that wave into through the election. Huck was a great governor and he'd make a great president.

At least Huckabee is honest, unlike so many other repiblicans running, Rudy and Mitt included.

Most republicans running would say they they find Hillary most intriging because they desperately want her to get the nomination.
She is the only democrat running that they can possibly beat in '08. The've succeeeded after years of "demonizing" her to turn off some people and also her candidacy while motivate their "base" of haters even better than Obama's candidacy.
No democrat of them will carry the south, all the old confederate states will stay republican, with the exception of maybe Virginia if someone like Edwards or Biden gets the nomination. The real battle will be in states like Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Florida.

Huckabee is a true blue conservative. He may be on the wrong side of progress and the wrong side of history but he seems to be by far the most honest republican currently running and might even be a decent man.
