It is actually tempting for me to think about me voting for him (but not supporting him), if he can pull it off, just so we have checks and balances. I would also prefer to have his name smeared (the republicans) as we extricate ourselves from the mess of Iraq. I do not want it ever forgotten that Bush lied his way into this war and it should taint his name throughout our history. No matter the final outcome of Iraq we had no business invading that country. History should not elevate Bush for being a visionary, if the outcome in Iraq should somehow, 10-15 years hence, okay. I doubt that will happen though.

It might prove beneficial for you to at least give some thought of getting together with the Ron Paul fans.

The fact that Guliani came this far shows what a horrible job the mainstream media is doing in investigative reporting. We will never know how many lives were lost as a result of his decision to put the command center at WTC. This man is no 9/11 hereo and is not the least bit Conservative-Republican.

With Bush as President and candidates like Guliani/Thompson being played as favorites it is clear Conservatism is dead in the Republican party. They have abandoned core beliefs but cannot win without us.

Bottom line if true Republican Conservatives do not get the nomination I and most other Conservatives I know are done with the party. Hopefully Ron Paul or someone like him will get the nomination or will take us real conservatives to a 3rd party.

Greed and corruption are the cornerstone of the republican brand of doing business. I don't know how a self respecting politian running as a republican could expect a single vote.

In 2006 the state of Ohio became a blue state and from where I live the skies are clearing up from the red stentch of the GOP. So in closing let me advise this, all you neocons need to pray real hard, and then find a democrate and stand behind her.

I don't view your comment as having much respect for your brothers and sisters in arms! Your comment is suggesting that their bravery and sacrifice will be meaningful only if they win the unwinable, senesless conflict! How utterly shameful of you!

Allow me to give you my view of our brothers and sisters in arms.

They are fighting grizzly fanatical groups of religious sects who place no value on life.

Who are void of any Western Chritian morals. Who equate winning with the number of what they view as satanic Western infidels they can blow up!

Our troops are not fighting on a even plane. They are using weapons against the cemented mind sets of Eastern radicals that have endured for centuries. And no matter how many of these fanatics we kill there are thousands more to take their place!
This war is unwinable militarily whether it be on there turf or ours!

And in my mind, if you were really concerned about your brothers and sisters in arms, you would be utterly irate about them being thrown into the middle of this excuse for a war. An excuse void of any truth, strategy, or support from your current Republican administration.

You would be horrified that our brave military members are making the ultimate sacrifice despite not having enough men, proper equipment or valid decision makers at the helm.

And you would be proud of your brave brothers and sisters in arms for their gallant service under impossible conditions.

And you would be proud of the Democrats who honour their military enough to put their military first by fighting to bring them home.

And you would proud the Democrats are trying to take your brothers and sisters out of this war and out of a Nation whose level of hatred for Western Idealolgy has little chance of change. Especially by military force.

And you would realize that sending the troops home is certainly not defeat. It is applying wisdom in the face of the current administration's stupidity.
And it has no power whatsoever in diminishing the bravery, honour and sacrifices of any active or non-active military member.

Their sacrifice and bravery is not measured by the incompetence of a President who used politics and deception as a means of employing the loyalty and bravery of military forces around the world.

I couldn't be more proud of our brothers and sisters in arms. I thank them wholeheartedly for their sacrifice, bravery, and loyalty.

But they've done enough for their Nations in the name of Freedom and it's time for them to come home in the name of humanity and their loved ones.

God Bless each and every one of them and keep them safe until wisdom over throws power hungry leaders.

As always, what is good for the GOP is a top priority and what is good for the country is dead last.

As for the GOP and women – they like their women barefoot in winter and pregnant is summer. Every time Bob Dole ran for office, Elizabeth had to quit her job and bake cookies.

Republican men love women – they've each had two or three ... Vitter pays to keep them company. Bush has appointed several women to serve – but they sit around with the Nancy Regan look when ever he's in the room... makes him feel like Mommy is still there to solve his every problem.
