She's got a great laugh, it's almost contagious, and by far the most genuine, convincing, and "UN"-condescending laugh I've heard out of a politician. Compare her laugh to Pres. Bush's. Now his is an absolutely annoying laugh (humph..humph..humph....a rich, snooty, feed me with silver spoon smirk)

The fact that there are so many comments here about Hillary Clinton's wardrobe, hair, laugh, and overall appearance further encourages my sinking feeling that America as a whole is getting DUMBER. I'm behind you Hillary. You can wear a tutu, football helmet and Big Bird slippers, get on national TV with bedhead, and laugh all the way to the White House as far as I'm concerned! It all has nothing to do with the relevant issues.

Oh for crying out loud! This is the dumbing of America and CNN you're the culprit! This is an intelligent issue? Why, oh why, do you think this has anything to do with world events and the future of our children?
Pathetic.

Since when did Obama become the owner of CNN. If she didn't laugh she would be criticized for that, now that she does you would think you all are planning a tar and feathering party. If so you may as well go after Mr. Obama, the real chicken. To afraid to stand up to the Navy on behalf of an abused Sailor. Is that what you really want in office????

That's right. Bush's wife is educated and he is a bumbling idiot with that stupid smirk on his face. Always saying " ya know what I mean". He walks like a cowboy with that stupid wave. My aunt in Baton Rouge was is a die hard Bushie. I think she is disgusted with him now. She won't even talk about him on the phone anymore.

Billary supporters: she is laughing at you! She does not want to answer the tough questions. She does that stupid laugh while she is thinking of how to phrase the fact that she is not going to tell you anything that might trip her up later. She is like a greased pig in the debates. She will not tell you what she will do because you won't like it. Is it possible that she could get elected and never tell people where she stands. We are not that dumb. Are we?

My God, you Hillary-backers are morons! She laughed her way out of an extremely <b>important and legitimate</b> question. She was asked why she <b>voted</b> to declare The Iranian Guard as terrorists, but she cackled her way out of the question. Is it not obvious that she is playing into the special interests and lobbyists to send our country into <b>another failure</b> of a war that is Iran? <b>She is no different than Bush</b>. She voted for War with Iraq, and now she is giving the authorization to go to war with Iran. Wake up, you idiots.

I am so ashamed of this countries politics...my god, people are dying everyday, healthcare is in crisis, my son attends a school with so little funding they don't even offer music anymore, our govt. spies on it's own people, our grandparents have to choose between medication and food, my govt wants to tell me who I should is the "right" god to worship...shall I go on?
Yet here we sit talking/complaining about a woman's laugh. Like her or not, your colors show when you have to stoop to this. Shame on all of you. Bye CNN going to BBC for some real news.

Most of the negative comments refer to Hillary as 100% calculating, a socialist, etc. I really don't think people have a clue what they are talking about. It's that they don't like her and they really don't know why, so they say these things. I admit that some of her ideas are a bit left of center, however, her voting record is one of representing her constituents who are both Democratic and Republican. That record matters more than anything else. So please all you "know-it-alls" out there, save your comments that are baseless, thank you.

Take John Kerry and Al Gore.

Morph them together.

Throw on a pantsuit.

And what do you get?

Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Democrats need to vote for the real heir apparent to Clinton-esque charisma- and his name is Barack Obama.

Folks, you are looking at the future of journalism. Issues of consequence such as the Iraq War, SCHIP, the US dollar being LOWER than the Canadian dollar, Blackwater, etc. actually involve the producer of the story to do some research.

CNN does not have the resources to waste on research or investigation.

It is so much easier to report on how someone laughs, or how their hair looks, or what they are wearing when they give a speech.

No research needed!

Her laugh sets her apart from other democrat candidates (Obama & Edwards) who are stuffy to be with.

It is also Hillary's heart and passion towards public service, that sets her apart. Her only daughter has grown up and left home, and public service occupies her time.

On the other hand, Edwards has 5 kids to take care of, while Obama has 2 young kids. While children are important, they can distract or reduce your passion towards work for the country.

Hillary 08!

My goodness. It's one thing to talk about Brittany Spears' minimal extra fat (I only hope to look that good after two kids), it's a whole other issue to micro-focus on trivial details completely unrelated to Clinton's ability to function as a leader.

For the record OSU, all of the women I know in their forties, myself included, are disgusted by BUSH. Even if he weren't a beady-eyed fool, how could any evolved woman be attracted to someone so unable to listen, compromise and sympathize? Let alone have an intellectual though.

Maybe Hillary was laughing at the media. Definielty at what passes for "journalism" at FoxNews.

This is what we find important to discuss? Hillary's laugh? With a war in Iraq, health care, social security, poverty, global warming and Darfur just for starters, at the forefront of our minds (or should be) during this election, we need to discuss Hillary's laugh?

Come on, this is comical.

As a republican who is thoroughly disgusted with her own party and as someone who would have never voted for a Clinton ten years ago. I have to say I find myself closer and closer to voting for her, regardless of whether she cackles.

Is she calculating? I sure hope so. I don't want a president that functions on a wing and a prayer. I want a president that thinks of all the options and strategizes.

Will I vote for her just because she is a woman? No. I actually like Obama slightly more then Hillary but I don't think he's experienced enough at a time of war. In eight years, maybe even four, definitely. And John Edwards, while I like him a lot as well, I just feel he's another wimpy democrat. I want a leader with a backbone...and Hillary surely seems to have one.

Go democrats. Shame on the all white, male, prowar Republicans. They need some diversity in their party in sex, color and thought.

Hillary, like her husband, is 100% calculated:

Moving to NY to find an "accepting" electorate to put her into office (because Arkansas wouldn't have her).

Assuring she wasn't going to run for the Presidency while a senator (as Bill and the DNC were doing focus groups)

Publicly calling for Iraq time-tables after rumblings in the party about her not taking a strong enough stance against the war (which she voted for).

Publicly suggesting General Petreaus was lying ("willing suspension of disbelief") on the SAME day Moveon.Org runs "General Betray Us" ad.

Now... she "cackles" whenever someone asks a question she doesn't want to answer. Those that refuse to SEE continue living in blindness.

The previous posters are truly clueless. This cackle is yet another example of how fake and cold of a person she is. The posters that think she is being targeted/attacked by the media need a reality check since she gets nothing but easy and non-confrontational questions as opposed to her conservative counterparts. Wake up and accept the fact that she has no personality and is scripted in everything that she does!

Her cackle is a lot more appealing than the smarmy grin that the GOP's current leader shows. I can hear the rusty gears grinding as his brain tries to put together something coherent to say.....which happens rarely

Dear CNN,

I think from now on, <i>before</i> posting something, you should ask yourselves if it's something the Wall Street Journal, New York Times or Washington Post would ever be caught dead reporting, or if it's something mroe suited to People and Entertainment Weekly.

There are plenty other Time Warner subsidiaries that can report crap like this. Please stick to news.

Thanks,

If CNN wrote the same thing about a Republican, a lot of the comments would be snide and in agreement. That's called hypocrisy.

What comes around goes around.

If you don't like your candidate being treated this way, don't put up with it EVER. CNN - grow up.

It's been my experience that when an adversary sinks to the level of making person attacks, then they have already lost the argument. Sounds like the opposing side is getting desparate.
Ah, well.

Sandy in Houston,

You write:
<b>"I am also a woman and I am thinking about voting for her, not only because the rest of the pack is not exactly what I am looking for but also to end this vicious attack against her."</b>

Unfortunately, if she wins, the unending, vicious attack will not end, it will only get worse. As many can see by my other posts, I am not a Hillary fan. Not because of personal things (although I've taken some pot-shots on these blogs to try and be funny) but because, in my opinion, many HillPraisers are being hood-winked.

What are you looking for in a candidate that the rest of the pack doesn't necessarily represent? I think, depending on what one looks for, everyone can find it in Hillary since she seems to be on every side of every issue.

Anyway, I hope you're having a good day,
