(CNN) – A day after Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-New York, stole the spotlight from her Democratic rival, Barack Obama, for out-fundraising him in the third quarter, the Illinois senator was upstaged again Wednesday – this time by a baby during a speech in Iowa City, Iowa.
In the foreign policy speech, the Democratic White House hopeful was discussing how he would reform the U.S. use and regulation of security contractors. Hear what one baby had to say in response to the proposal.

off topic but Obamba missed a golden opportunity to seperate himself from the crowd by not voting against the Lieberman bill to give Bush authority to invade Iran. Had he voted against it he would have really showen a difference between him and Hillary. By not having done this he has given an away what could have been something that he truely did stand for change. Sorry to say but he is just like the others and really reresents no change
at all.

The Lieberman-Kyl vote had been removed "indefinitely" from the docket by Harry Reid on the day prior to the vote. To the surprise of most, he called for the vote the next day. Senator Obama was in New Hampshire, unable to get back in time to place his "no" vote. Interestingly, Senator Reid's son works for Hillary. Coincidence? You decide.
Senator Obama has issued a statement regarding his opposition to the amendment, and spoke out against aggressive posturing toward Iran weeks before the vote.

To me I think CNN is really trying to make a joke out of Obama's campaign.
There is plenty of time to get from New Hampshire to Washington in a day if you really want to, especially when you're a Senator running for president. After the fact, Sen. Obama very lamely said that he WOULD HAVE voted against the resolution. The vote was a chance for him to put his money where his mouth was, but he ducked it.
Finally, without evidence, I refuse to jump to the conclusion that Sen. Reid would have let his son's support of Sen. Clinton determine the Senate's calendar.

And you notice how he glombs onto the topic du jour – blackwater contractors – that's because obama has no credentials to fall back on, no experience that qualifies him for the Presidency, nothing else to talk about.
Too bad this is not widely known by people about Reid pulling it for a time when Obama could not get there.
Seeing how the #2 is fellow Illinois senator and Obama cheerleader, Durbin, I wonder what riff this caused. Durbin sees Obama like his little brother and is very close to him.

What a hilarious coincidence. When I saw him at a town hall meeting back in August, in Nevada, I was placed near a screaming baby throughout the whole campaign stop.
I, too, wondered why in the heck anyone would bring their child that uncontrollably screams to these things. I mean, think of the other people you're subjecting this to!
Every candidate probably has to deal this more than once, apparently.

I know why there was a screaming baby in the audience. The baby's mother doesn't have the money to hire a sitter. The way the economy is going under Republican mis-leadership we are all looking in the couch cushions for change.
Obama pledged NOT to campaign in Florida because of its early primary, but what did he do: campaigned in Florida at fund-raisers!

CNN Associate Producer Martina Stewart is a friggin' idiot for thinking that what a candidate actually had to say during a public appearance was less newsworthy than a crying baby.
Go back to journalism school and don't come back until you can tell instinctively what's newsworthy and what isn't.
Who is this 'poor sailor boy son' in boot camp that Obama didn't help and that Hillary did, according to the (constant) post? Was Obama and Hillary in this boot camp with this poor sailor boy that Obama didn't help and Hillary got to him first or something? What help did the poor sailor boy need? Did he get it? I hope since Hillary got to him, he is now helped so his sister here can heal. The other thing is, does Senator Obama know he didn't help this poor sailor boy? The sister might be remedied if she contacted the campaign and vented, get some answers, so she can draw closure.
About the crying baby, Obama handled it terrificly, knowing it wasn't a detrimental moment and that a baby wasn't just wandering aimlessly without an adult, that this child was in the arms of a parent! Strange, a baby was there anyway.
First of all, Obama is a MAN (spell it with me: M-A-N), so don't go calling him or his ideas infantile or childish.
Secondly, could all the Obama haters get over the whole stupid sailor story? We don't need to go sinking Louisiana again with your tears.
Thirdly, what was Obama supposed to do, act like nothing was happening? He's infuriated by Blackwater, I'm infuriated by Blackwater, and I'm sure the baby is infuriated by Blackwater. Plus, he got a few laughs for playing along with the situation (in other words, watch the video BEFORE you comment.
