if you don't think Rick Perry's endorsement doesn't matter, what do you think of Heidi Fleiss and Jenna Jameson making endorsement?

"It'll go over big at the weekly cross burnin'!!!"

-----

Typical liberal... stereotypes southern conservatives as apart of the clan. Easy to do if you ignore the facts:

- The only Congressman serving today that was apart of the KKK is (democrat) Robert Byrd.

- The KKK played a significant role in the 1924 Democratic National Convention - known as the "klanbake" convention.

- It was REPUBLICAN President Eisenhower that sent US troops to inforce Brown V Board (allowing black students to attend an all-white high school) against the obstructionist DEMOCRAT Governor Orval Faubus.

Yeah - don't let the facts of history stand in your way of false stereotyping!

Wow. I was unaware an endorsement from Govenor Goodhair meant anything. We just tend to see him as a week-minded, ethically challenged governor in a weak governor state. You know, just like George was, only Rick can speak in words of up to three syllables with relative ease. All George could do for us was something like a blank stare. Wow. Learn something new everyday!

Firstly, let me state that I'm a registered Republican but an independent thinker. In all honesty, I'm not interested in Rudy Guliani or who endorses him. As a native of the state of Texas, I'm not altogether impressed with Rick Perry's policies or actions. However, he has the best hair of any political figure since Thomas Jefferson.

Giuliani shows short-sighted selfishness towards his wives, his children and again towards America with the wonderful "constitutional" murder of the line-item veto. So he got NYC 200 million back at the expense of putting back 200 trillion waste back into the government. And we're supposed to cheer because hey, he defeated Clinton...yes and every other president and taxpayer thereafter. Moron.

Big whoop.

Texas has the weakest governorship in the nation (and by the way, look at who kept that seat lukewarm before Perry).

The Texas governor's endorsement mean's little more than nothing, as it should, especially in this case, when Perry's personal values are being set aside just so he can back the guy he thinks might be able to go the distance.

Giuliani is 'flawed' in his stand on abortion rights and the right to life issue. However, he exudes the strength to navigage a very 'hostile' world globally. Thought the right to life issue is very fundamental, it has been an issue for so long that it is NOT on the HOT plate at the moment. World 'crisis' with extreme threats from Islamofascists coming from all directions. Especially with Russia and Venezuela teaming up with these extremists to line their own pockets and their own zeal for power. The illegal immigrant issue is another HOT plate issue. Perhaps Giuliani will offset his right to life stance by choosing Mike Huckabee as his running mate. Giuliani could offset Huckabee's weak stance on immigration while Huckabee could offset Giuliani's weak stance on right to life.
Giuliani/Huckabee in 2008 would be unbeatable. The immigrations issue would be solved by 2015 and Huckabee could carry the Republicans an additional 8 years after Giuliani.

What a great ticket Giuliani/Perry o8' We are braking all the odds as we take Americas mayor into the White House in 08' I am Pro-Life but, stopping abortion in this country is impossible otherwise it would be already. Let's work to reduce abortions, that is something that we can accomplish! Go Rudy 08

This is for all those of you who oppose abortion: why don't you come forward and adopt an unwanted child each.
Will you do it? No!
It is very easy for all of us to preach and criticize others, but when it affects us individually, the scenario is different. So, go about your business if you have nothing constructive to offer (and don't bring any religion into this-it is all too out-dated).

Whoopedee doo. Who is Rick Perry? Why does he look like George Bush? Are they related? Bloody Italians!

Seriously though, why does this matter? How many people listen to the governor of Texas when they vote??? He has ONE vote (at least I think that's the way it is).

Abortion is a hard thing to do, and there would/could be psychological struggles with this. But for some women, giving up a child and living with the fact that their child is out there and belongs to someone else is also a big psychological struggle that does not fade with time. It is a women's right to choose which of the two choices she is best prepared to face.

So Rudy the "9/11" nominee is going to nominate complete Right-Wing ideologues? Since they uphold gun rights (Giuliani is not in line), school prayer (Rudy??), would deny abortion rights (Rudy=flipflop), he might as well just declare himself a full-fledged neo-con

Some folks have mentioned they won't vote for him because of his abortion record. While I'm not sure I believe them, it does show some principle. Others (at the urging of Shmanitty of faux news) say they must forego their beliefs so the "Socialist" Hillary will not be elected

Considering that Rick Perry is just one of Bush’s dunderheaded handmaidens and considering his abysmal record as Governor of Texas, I don’t think I would view this endorsement as “Big” or even good for Mr. Giuliani. Rick Perry has continued the tragic rape of Texas that was begun by George Bush and his endorsement will simply be another nail in Giuliani’s coffin.

This sort of endorsement is just one more reminder that no matter how Republicans try to distance themselves from their President, George Bush’s legacy will be impossible for them to overcome.

This is just a veiled attempt at gaining the VP slot on the Giuliani ticket.

Not that I support either of the two, but it would be a smart move on Rudy's part.

Perry is the worst of the worst. He is a neo-con, far right winging, crooked politician elected to a figure-head position. The job of the governor of Texas is largely symbolic. It has not substance or major responsibilities, BUT as we have seen from history it can be a stepping stone for an idiot to get to the White House. Perry is a joke in Texas and any appointments he may get if Giuliani is elected would come with lots of money under the table. He fits in nicely with the GOP’s culture of corruption.

How can you say Rick Perry is a BIG endorsement? He won our governor race with only 39% of the vote. I wouldn't exactly call it a popular win. Rick Perry is as big of a joke as Giuliani is.

Giuliani and Mr. 39% in 2008?

Perry created the Trans Texas Corridor (TTC), and Giuliani has already profited off the first leg of the TTC eminent domain land grab. Giuliani's lawfirm, Bracewell & Giuliani, represents Cintra, the Spanish Company who will be building one of the first portions of the 4,000 mile TTC toll road (Nafta Super Highway).

Obviously the republicans are not learning from the mistakes made by democracts in the past...they are forgoing their own principals for supposed electability. However, when Rudy gets swift-boated, and America sees him for who he trully is, he won't win the general election. In fact, as the old saying goes, no president has won the White House without winning his/her own home state. Rudy trails in NY when matched against Hillary.
