Now maybe people will realize how uneducated they sound when they constantly harp on this candidate or that candidate not fitting in every debate. If you're invited to a dozen debates in one day, you can't very well attend them all now, can you?

Strange, considering Rudy usually does well in the debates. For example in the last debate, he managed to make the race entirely about him and Romney, making the other candidates irrelevant.

I hope Giuliani is prepared to lose votes as a result of not going to any debates outside of the one that he does attend. Rudy, you're part of a party that Bush has made unpopular, and we need you to restore the GOP's good name. That cannot happen if you're not there.

So, 12 debate invitations for the same day… means only one debate a month… even if you believe the ridiculous statement that he gets a dozen invitations for the same day it does not follow that he can't make multiple debate appearances in a month. His arbitrary line of one debate a month is a foolish policy which may come back to bite him.

And this is why he will win the election - he is running for President…and he is setting the schedule….very executive…and also a moderate….exactly what this country needs….our next president (at least if you guys run Hillary….its a lock for Giuliani)

And you wouldn't want to answer why on 9/11 you told Peter Jennings of ABC that you "were told that the World Trade Center was gonna collapse."

He's a fraud through and through. The reason is that he can't mentally prepare himself for more than one a month, isn't it? I mean, to say that it takes away from campaigning isn't true, because the debates are so much the campaign now. Whatever. He can't win anyway.

I guess having nothing to say but "when I was mayor during 9/11″ can limit the amount of debates one can participate in.

I must admire his optimism. He expects to win although his own children don't support him, neither does the NYFD.

The reason is that the more people see him on debates, the more people will realize he is just another robot with a bad attitude.

It could be his former prostate cancer that has tired him. Technically speaking, cancer cannot be cured, just dormant inside the body (in remission).

I find that interesting that the other top repub candidates, other than multiple marriages, also have cancer: McCain (skin cancer) and Thompson (lymphoma).

Survival varies widely, depending on the types of cancer. But overall, five-year survival for the non-Hodgkin's group of lymphomas is 63 percent, according to the American Cancer Society.

Maybe we will all be "treated" to an "impromtpu" cell phone call from his newest wife in the middle of each debate so we can hear him coo sweet nothings to his ookum-schmookums on live national TV to prove how "warm and caring" a family man he is.

All Giuliani does in debates anyway is make silly cuts at other canadites. I have heard little from him about the positive aspects of his platform. He just throughs mud because he doesn't have ground to stand on.

I doubt Americans will quibble about Rudy's one debate a month..I'd be happy…and happier if it was only one media report a month!

Hiding from more debate reduce the chance of having weaknesses identified or questioned. Obama has also limited his public debate appearances.

However, some voters may have doubts about their abilities, or issues. More importantly, the inexperience from debates may prove fatal during the general election debates.

Giuliani can only talk about 9/11 or Hillary in any debate, nothing changes. And to use the excuse of not accepting debates because it's impossible to make all the "political points". Doesn't sound like he's a "multi-task" person which certainly doesn't qualify him to be a president. Rudy sounds like someone planning a dinner party.
