Watch Brownback drop out of the White House race.

(CNN) — Mired in single digits in the polls and trailing his rivals in fund-raising, Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas announced Friday afternoon that he is pulling out of the Republican presidential race.

"My yellow brick road just came short of the White House this time," Brownback said at a news conference in his hometown of Topeka.

Have the Big Wiggs of Corporate America given up on the presidency due to thier lack of affiliation with the Wigg Party.

Well now is his chance to endorse someone who shares his values. I'm talking, of course, about Huckabee.

Great more speaking time at the debates for Ron Paul!

Good news. One less warmonger and big-government Christian theocrat that we have to listen to in the debates. Hopefully Huckabee and Duncan Hunter will soon follow suit.

If Brownback has any since, he will endorse Ron Paul. But he doesn't. (have any sense, that is)

Another one bites the dust….

The Ron Paul Revolution keeps on truckin!

Ron Paul has the closest ideals with Brownback on the big 2. Paul opposes abortion, and opposes the death penalty. Brownback opposes abortion and wants to limit capital punishment.

I think he means his short bus ran out of gas on the yellow brick road.

This is the smartest thing he's said since the presidential race

Sam Brokeback was even running? Does anyone even pay attention to these single-digit nobodies?

Who will the flat earthers vote for now?

And yet, Tancredo is still in there. Please let him be the next Republican to be involved in a hypocritical sex scandal!

Ron Paul is the logical choice for conservative Christians. He is an OB-Gyn who has delivered over 4000 babies.
He is the only candidate from either party who can attract a diverse group of people who are all feel loyalty to the Constitution. Maybe CNN will make some room to talk about the newest candidate to crack the top tier.

What a chicken, left the race once Colbert entered!

A quick analysis suggests this is good for Huckabee, and bad for Giuliani. Read why here.

Ron Paul is a USELESS candidate. As a doctor, he wants back alley abortions (pro life stance) and wants many children to perish for lack of good healthcare. Ron Paul the isolationist will NEVER be elected. Oh, and it's good Brownback is out.

He wasn't intelligently designed to be President. "If I only had a brain!"

I like the yellow brick road analogy. Brownback's candidacy was always a complete fantasy. You can't run on an anti-women's-rights, anti-gay-rights, and anti-Iraqi-sovereignty platform and win the presidency. Go Rudy!
