DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) – All signs point to January 3–the same day the state's Republicans will hold theirs.

Carrie Giddins, communications director for the Iowa Democratic Party, said a notice will be sent out to members of their state central committee early Thursday afternoon alerting them to a conference call to be held at 8pm central time Sunday night.

"On that call it will be recommended that the caucuses move to January 3," Giddins told CNN.

The Iowa caucuses had been tentatively scheduled for January 14 for both parties, but on October 16 the Republican party's state central committee voted and chose January 3 for theirs. It was not certain whether or not both parties would end up holding their contests on the same day, even though tradition has typically made that the norm.

Now let's see. How about Arkansas. I think that the guys down there have great southern accents. I also like the Brits accent. Either one will do. I can't stand those accents from the Bronx. They say sta – star, hea -here. Thats sounds terrible.

Thank goodness the political parties control America's elections. I'd hate to think of all the problems this country could actually fix. Who needs the Constitution.

Sure, why not.

While we're at it, can we move the general election up to about June or so? I'm getting antsy.

It's funny how everyone is up in arms about moving the largely insignificant primary dates around when we oughta be moving the general election up so we can get rid of Shrubby a little faster.

There needs to be some reform to the primary voting procedures for president.

I say, all primary votes should be the same day across the country. It is wierd that Democratic candidates are boycotting any events in Minnesota because that state has moved their caucus date to the same day as Iowa and New Hampshire.

Why do these states have to be the first always? Why not have all states done the same day?

This could have MAJOR repercussions on New Hampshire, as it makes it more likely that the NH primary will stay in January. Read why here.

Mr. America is surprised others are not weighing in on this important issue! Giddins caucus recommendations are captivating.
