Giuliani goes after Clinton.
PETERBOROUGH, New Hampshire (CNN) - Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani took aim at Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-New York, and her recently proposed foreign policy agenda on Sunday.
Giuliani read from an Iowa newspaper article that quoted Sen. Clinton: "The day after I'm elected, I'm going to be asking distinguished Americans of both political parties to travel around the world on my behalf with a very simple message to the governments and the people alike: The era of cowboy diplomacy is over."
The paper wrote, Sen. Clinton "promised to send envoys to foreign capitals before she takes office to herald the end of the Bush administration's foreign policy."
"I noticed an article in the Des Moines Register today and I think this is a statement that's a mistake. And rather than criticize, I'm going to give Hillary Clinton a chance to correct the mistake before it keeps going in this campaign," Giuliani said. Giuliani proceeded to read Clinton's statement in the paper.
Giuliani turned to the audience and said, "Hillary's not a president elect the last time I checked - Hillary's not even the nominee of the party. So, I mean, this is very premature to be talking about sending ambassadors all around the world even before she becomes President to, in essence, interfere in the foreign policy of the United States."
Reading the problems enumerated by the Iowa paper over Clinton's statements, Giuliani stated that only the President could conduct foreign policy. He then said "it would be good of Sen. Clinton would correct that statement now."
Responding to Giuliani's statements, Kathleen Strand, Clinton's New Hampshire communication director wrote in an email, "Senator Clinton and Mr.
Giuliani have a fundamental disagreement. She will end the war in Iraq, reverse the Bush era cowboy diplomacy and restore America's standing around the world. Mr. Giuliani wants to escalate the war in Iraq and supports President Bush's failed foreign policy approach."

Just another failed attempt to dog on Hillary. Mr. Giuliani have you not learned yet that when your running for president you should act like it, we all understand that its not November 2008, Hillary is just telling us what she would do if elected. Anyone with a calandar knows that Giuliani is grasping at straws on this one!
One of the things that I despise in political news near election time is the abundance of schoolyard "Take that back!" bickering among candidates. To me, it suggests that they have little to run on other than to try to bring the other candidate down.
Thus far, Giuliani is the only candidate who I've noticed (repeatedly) demanding that candidates apologize for expressing what they believe in.
Does Giuliani really expect me to be upset that Clinton is expressing her plans if elected president? Is he not telling crowds what he plans to do if elected president? This demand simply seems superfluous to me.
Rudy – you and Sen. Craig need to go to 'Learn When To Shut Up' class. Hillary knows it will take a lot of diplomacy to restore our good name around the world. Thanks to 'Dubya' and 'The Shooter' we have little creditability left. This election will not be lost in Electoral College, Congress or anyhere else. Hillary in a landslide.
She will end the war in Iraq and reverse the Bush Cowboy Diplomacy by sending over bipartison envoys, hopefully her husband too? This is great news. No wonder Giuliani wants to stop it. He is scared of her and losing to a woman. His policy is the Bush Cowboy go get em with guns too.
Giuliani is wrong. The American people and the rest of the world for that matter need as much time as possible to prepare for another disastrous Clinton Presidency. More illegal wars like Bosnia, Serbia and Haiti. More failures to address terrorism. More failures to reach a detente with Russia and China. More failure to achieve a settlement in the Middle East. More failure to address the problems in Africa. The list of Clinton foreign policy mistakes is endless.
Who does Rudy think he is to put any DEMANDS on Hillary ! He is such a bitter man and he thinks that he can start demanding. She has the right to say anything she wants. He is just worried because he knows she will topple him in the elections.

Does anyone care what Giuliani demands? Whether or not Giuliani likes it or not Hillary is right, the Cowboy diplomacy is the pillar of Bush's foreign policy and that is the reason we are in trouble around the World.
I'm not voting for either Rudy or Clinton. They are both commies and care nothing about the people. Rudy won't get elected because he is bald and Clinton won't because she will be in jail during the general elections. So lets focus on the other candidates that actually care.

She is on record that we will be in there at least till 2012 ACCORDING TO HER, so how is that ending the Iraq war as the insuation is that it will be soon.

Rudy, let's talk about your demand to immediately stop aid to Yemen because of your misinformation that Jamal al-Badawi had been released, not true. This is just an example of what Giuliani will say and do that will continue this Bush era. We can't have a president that takes any misinformation and reports it nationally, that's exactly what happened that got us in Iraq, WMD's. Giuliani needs to apologize to Yemen and the Bush adm. needs to be all over Rudy about this.
