Supporters of Al Gore are making their latest push on television.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – A national grassroots organization seeking to draft Al Gore to run for president is making its latest appeal on television, launching a thirty-second ad Friday that urges supporters to make a last-ditch effort to convince the former vice president to throw his hat into the White House race.

"Imagine what tomorrow can be," the DraftGore.com ad's narrator says. "Imagine a renewed world, an end to the war in Iraq, imagine Al Gore as president — Call him. Write him. Seize the moment."

The ad also notes Gore opposed the war in Iraq in 2002 and won a Nobel Peace Prize last month for his efforts to bring attention to the issue of global warming.

The spot is set to air for three days on the New Hampshire station WMUR as well as CNN nationally. The ad has to convince Gore quickly however, at least if he wants to compete in the Granite State — New Hampshire's deadline to get on the presidential ballot is Friday.

The television push comes roughly a month after the organization took out a full page ad in the New York Times with an open appeal to the 2000 Democratic presidential nominee.

"You say you have fallen out of love with politics, and you have every reason to feel that way," the open letter to Gore stated. "But we know you have not fallen out of love with your country. And your country needs you now — as do your party and the planet you are fighting so hard to save."

Gore has repeatedly said he has no plans to run for president again.

There are numerous videos of Al Gore criticizing the first President Bush for being soft on terrorists and particularly Saddam Hussein.

"Gore acknowledged that Saddam Hussein was a ruthless and brutal dictator, that Iraq was a "nation with a record of terrorism," and that the CIA, the Defense Department, the State Department, the Justice Department, the Energy Department, the Commerce Department and "other agencies throughout the government" notified Bush 41's people that Iraq was "clandestinely procuring nuclear weapons technology through a global network of front companies."

Then Clinton-Gore was elected and we had Khobar Towers, the first World Trade Center, etc., etc.

Al Gore will never be elected President, or anything else.

Gore is as big a joke as his carbon offsets, which are nothing more than a way to trick people into giving them cash.

Apparently it is okay for me to throw trash out the window of my car as long as I "offset" the action by doing something positive somewhere else. What nonsense. Instead of buying a chic new hybrid car, why don't you just keep the same car you have now for 20 years – thus saving the energy consumed by manufacturing new cars!

What do people mean by

"Al Gore is the only person to get us out of this mess"?

Iraq? He doesn't have military expertise. What would he bring to the table?

Environmental cleanup? He uses more energy than a small town.

xtina chicago IL   November 2nd, 2007 8:57 pm ET

The thing about AL GORE to me is that no one can say for certain that his global warming claims are irrefutable. Science can progress and many theories are proven wrong later. So to say the book is closed on man changing the climate is just plain wrong. Also, Al will not debate live on TV against those who oppose his claims. Why is that?

Ronnie Knoxville TN   November 2nd, 2007 8:54 pm ET

Al Gore flies in a private jet for most appearances. He owns more than one residence, and the main one is an energy – consuming monster mansion (just the same as Edwards). Al Gore owns the company that sells carbon offsets; another fancy way off saying rich elitist liberals (especially his Hollywood 'friends') can "buy" their way out of the guilt of using massive amts of energy, just as Al does.

Karen,ny   November 2nd, 2007 7:12 pm ET

I feel that Al Gore would fit much better into a government office that pertains to the environment. That is more his field of expertise.

Paul, Benoni, South Africa   November 2nd, 2007 7:07 pm ET

Mrs. America   November 2nd, 2007 6:59 pm ET

Hillary hasn't stumbled enough to bring this out now. One bad week doesn't doom her. Although I would love to see Gore run if Clinton starts to falter, I think the timing is wrong on this ad. Good ad, though.

colony14 author, Mt Prospect, Illinois   November 2nd, 2007 6:52 pm ET

For all of you who are so fearful that carbon dioxide causes global warming, keep in mind that every time you breathe you exhale the dreaded stuff. Perhaps the best way to reduce global warming is for fans of Gore to commit suicide and leave the rest of us alone to enjoy our lives in peace.

Before Gore criticizes us for driving older cars that get fewer miles per gallon than one of those precious hybrids, he might want to stop to figure out how much carbon dioxide emissions are created by the process of manufacturing those hybrids!

Eric, from THE Republic of Texas   November 2nd, 2007 5:35 pm ET

Can't we leave this poor angry demented man alone?

Let's leave him alone to spend his golden years playing with his "global warming" action heroes set. You know, the one with the "Atmosphere Al" action figure, with the Kung Fu grip?

The amazing thing is the Al Gore action figure probably is more entertaining and less wooden than the man the doll was modeled after.

RealityKing   November 2nd, 2007 3:53 pm ET

Considering that 25 percent of Al's "An Inconvenient Truth" is in fact false according to the a British court — it seems only fair that Gore offer a refund to moviegoers, DVD/book purchasers and speaking sponsors. Where are the class action lawyers when you need them?

Terry, El Paso, TX   November 2nd, 2007 3:23 pm ET

Al Gore said this about elections )I'm paraphrasing): "When you run for election, you either win or lose…but then there is that little discussed third possibility…"

I have given up getting agnry over the idea that America's first coup d'etat took place in 2000 and there was nothing we could do about it. The man who won that election went into retirement and the man who lost that election is in the White House.

Eventually, historians will take it for granted that the wrong man went to the White House in 2000 (Florida), as probably happened in 1960 (Illinois), and in the Tilden-Hayes election of 1876 (Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina). The Democrats stole two of them and the Republicans only one.

Karen Saucedo, Novato California   November 2nd, 2007 3:23 pm ET

Can't help but wonder why all the attacks here against Gore? The personal, infantile comments. First, regardless of his electric bill it was this man's actions who finally put the issue of Global Warming in the front pages. No, he didn't invent the concept but he got it onto the front page and got it PRESS and now it is getting the attention it needed decades ago. Second, this man is not running. People are trying to encourage him to do so. He ran and won once already. Except, as you will recall, the election was stolen by dirty tricks. Personally, if he ran, I'd vote for him without hesitation. We are coming out of the WORST presidency ever. This country needs a strong leader with experience and yet someone the people can beleive in and respect. A lot of us think that Al Gore would be perfect. I'm not one of But, if its Hillary Clinton, she'll have my vote. Hey, I haven't had a president for 8 years now, its time I got myself one!

Neill C., Montgomery, Al   November 2nd, 2007 2:54 pm ET

Al Gore hasn't done a thing for this planet or this country. He's fanned fears of global warming with sketchy and inaccurate science and some goofballs have fallen into lockstep with him.

There is no question we are warming, but there is a mountain of evidence of it being caused by humans which is what he is trying to sell us.

Go sell crazy, elsewhere, Al, we're all full up here.

If you had more than a fourth grade education, you would realize that the war in Iraq has NOTHING to do American Freedom. — Chris Haynes, Winston-Salem, NC

Ummmm…, weren’t the Revolutionary and Civil wars the only ones ever fought for "American Freedom"? At what other time was our freedom in jeopardy?? No country could possible take and hold the US. No, we fight in Iraq for the same reasons we fought in Europe. To free its people from tyranny and to protect our children from the spread of that tyranny. The failure of our progressive education system is clearly visible throughout this blogshere.

Robbie, Baltimore, MD   November 2nd, 2007 2:07 pm ET

Al Gore missed his time. I recognize global warming but i also recognize how ignorant American citizens are, OUR safety first, then global safety.Gore won't be able to show enough dominance and power to show he can lead a country out of a war. Sorry Al.

RealityKing   November 2nd, 2007 1:59 pm ET

The British judge did in fact use the word "errors" throughout his ruling. Some scientists say there are actually 35 errors or exaggerations in the film. And as for the contention that the movie contains thousands of facts, simple math shows that 2,000 facts in a 98-min film would have had to be recited at a rate of one every three seconds. Add another exaggeration from the Gore camp??

Perhaps worse than the film’s errors is their origin. The BBC reported that Gore knew the film presented incorrect information but took no corrective steps because he didn’t want to spotlight any uncertainties in the scientific data that may fuel opponents of global warming alarmism.

So based on the judge’s ruling, 25 minutes of a 98-minute film should be excised. What’s left is largely Gore’s personal drama and cinematic fluff that has nothing to do with the science of climate change.

"An Inconvenient Truth" grossed about $50 million at the box office and millions more in DVD and book sales. Gore charges as much as $175,000 for an in-person presentation of his slide show that forms the basis for the film. Considering that 25 percent of it is false — it seems only fair that Gore should offer a refund to all…

Linda in Santa Fe, NM   November 2nd, 2007 1:58 pm ET

I've tried addressing the lies and attacks 5 times now and the post never appears.

Lets place this one, OK?

You all (upthread)should have tired by now with these constant same lies, attacks and name calling. But Mr. Gore has the facts on his side.

Mr. Gore is the best example of character one could hope for. And his walk is strong and straight up. And all your lies won't change that.

Mr. Gore still flies commercially and still buys offsets for his travel. Mr. Gore purchased a 100 year old home and had it completely gutted and remodeled GREEN, receiving top LEED honors. With Geo thermal and radiant heating, dual pain window all replaced, rain collection, solar panels AND AND still, he pays more to have 100 percent of the energy he uses to come from Renewable resources.

Al Gore is a proven leader with stature, vision and unmatchable experience and has been proven to be correct on some of the most important issues we still face, like the Iraq war, the deficit, health care, over-reaching powers, trampling of our Constitution, the environment and Global Warming. We deserve him to be our president. He is asking us to rebuild our democracy and for citizen activism to bring about the change we need. Please add your voice and show we know we deserve the best to be in the Oval Office to make the agenda and policy to solve the many crisis we face.

Time for a COOL change,
Gore
2008

Listening to Al Gore speak has all the excitement of fingernails on a chalkboard. It's irritating and carries no real message. We need a leader for this Country, not some nutjob who wants to save the world from a non event.

Can anyone explain the relationship between the Peace Prize and global warming?

The only thing worse is listening to Hillary's screech.

Chris, Middletown, CT   November 2nd, 2007 1:53 pm ET

Did you see him on 20/20 with John Stossel? (yeah…me either…Gore is unable to defend himself…) – he was an unknown in the White House as VP…and only trotted out around election time….with the film…he knows its factually inaccurate….but I believe he thinks we needed an incentive to move off foreign oil….perhaps he's right…but lying is not the way to get this done….Gore was never the right choice for the country….but the blind followers of the DNC would support anyone who runs on the ticket….omg…they are supporting Hillary now…who is preaching Marxist doctrine…(look up Saul Alinsky….Hillarys teacher)

GORE-EDWARDS, That's the ticket!

clinton is assuming other democratic rival which at this state till the primary should be telling us why we want us to elect her other than them. He is ignoring them and pronouncing herself the nominee just like bush ignored American people when he went for war. Now if Americans do the second mistake we will see who to blame….I am waiting with my popcorn to see how this unfolds. Keep the game on!

This country needs a woman or man with the backbone to fight back and not let go unchalleged the innuendos, half truths, and out right lies by the republicans and the media.
Al Gore does not have the desire to go through a presidential campaign at this time, so why not leave the man alone.

Jim N.   November 2nd, 2007 1:34 pm ET

Republican pundits make me puke.

Your feeble attempts at pointing out "alleged" inaccuracies in Gore's "An Inconveinient Truth" is hypocritical and pale in comparison to the lies of the Bush administration.

Any alleged inaccuracies on the part of Al Gore and the NATO commission in the film get us what…? Perhaps it may help sway more people conserve.

What to the lies of the Bush Administration get us? American deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan in guise of a war on terror when it's all just a greedy grab for control over oil.

I'll take inaccuracies that may save the environment over out-right lies anyday.

Some Dems simply realize they have current problems with their choices available – the GOP doesn't? I'm suprised I haven't seen a draft Gingrich or draft Jeb campaign yet (God help us all).

You may remember a little issue about the Supreme Court, who gave the election the the incompetents. yeah, that worked. And 4 years later? Oh, that one was due to a whole lot of cheating in Ohio that Kerry decided not to pursue in the spirit of bipartisanship. Yeah that worked!

The Repubs are funny calling Gore a hypocrite. Both him and his wife work out their house. So they don't drive to work each day. We are talking about a high level guy here who operates his entire career out of his house. He drives a hybrid and gets his energy from green sources.

Now compare this to the guy who lost the popular vote in 2000. Some of you will remember Bush saying in 2000 that conservation was unnnecesary. Compare to two wars, civil rights turned backed before the Magna Carta and the writ of Habeas Corpus. Taking the largest budget surplus in US history and turning it into the largest deficit. Making America the most hated nation on earth.

I wish Gore was President and I wish he would run in 2008 but he won't. He won't run against feminazi Hillary. She has too big a lead and the people he needs to win have already committed themselves to Hillary.

Politically Gore is through. He is an internationalist now, not a nationalist, and therefore would never win a national election. The sidelines is too cushy and lucrative. Just ask Newty Gingerich. He's another faker who decided not to run cause the $$ is too good.

Most voters are smarter than some give them credit.

They are tired of this election and that is why certain candidates support is dropping. The hype is gone.

And, they have expressed quite well their dislike for these elections starting so long before the elections and it is disgusting the money that has been spent.

The front runners need to raise what they did if they were going to waste so many millions and millions of dollars each qurater. OMG!

No, elections are meant to show the people who you are. There is not a fake mandatory amount of time it should take to do that.

The only ones starting so early are the ones having to buy their marketing campaign…and even that isn't working.

The good news, fo those folks who thought they could lock things up early, the people have had a long enough time to see what they are offering. Hypocrisy at it's finest.

We need a real leader who has an exemplary record as MR. Gore has, for decades and decades.

From volunteering to serve in Vietname, even though he was opposed to the war, to returning and reporting for his local paper for 5 years, then serving in the US House, then serving in the US Senate, then serving as a US Vice President. He now spends his time in private life working tirelessly getting attention to recognize and solve the Climate Crisis.

I believe Mr. Gore will win in a landslide.

Al, Lima, OH   November 2nd, 2007 1:01 pm ET

It doesn't really matter who is running or who is elected. Nothing ever gets accomplished anyway. One party votes against the other just because they can. They will vote against good ideas just because they didn't think of it first. It's so childish and so frustrating.

"He's the biggest hypocrite on earth!"

Actually no, he's not the biggest hypocrit on Earth, that award goes to any and all Republicans as a group award. Republicans have shown again and again that they do not practice the self rightous dogma that they preach. They have espoused an idealogy of hate, and turned what once a party of small government and fiscal responsibility to a party of DONT TAX AND SPEND, WARMONGERING, DOMESTIC RELIGOUS TERRORISM, and BIBLE THUMPING. Sooner or later America will wake up and see what awful people Republicans truly are. Its the old joke – what do you get when 1000 Republicans fall into the ocean and drown? Answer – a good start!!

Brooke, Des Moines, IA   November 2nd, 2007 12:50 pm ET

Gore had his time! George Bush of course stole it.

But Gore can do much more in helping the world doing what he is doing than if he were President. He understands his mission in life and he is doing what he was called to do.

For people to spend this kind of money trying to get him to change his mind really shows their level of competency. Let the man live in peace and take your money and support a candidate that will be for the people, the environment and will win in 2008!

david houston texas   November 2nd, 2007 12:45 pm ET

David, Dallas Tx   November 2nd, 2007 12:44 pm ET

I agree that it would not look good to voters that he waited this long to get into the race. It creates (to my mind, a false) impression that being wishy-washy about running would make him wishy-washy as president.

But I would vote for him in a heartbeat. President Gore and a strongly Democratic Congress would be able to get a great deal of legislation passed and policy set to help the environment, restore America's standing in the world, and reduce the national deficit that Republicans keep running up. Lastly, as a very successful businessman focusing on green technology, he knows how to manage an economy that's both green and prosperous.

Gore all the way!

Carl, I've always thought Bush fit the Antichrist description very well, especially the part about people falling away from the true worship of Christ to follow the Antichrist. You don't find conservatives loving their enemies, or turning the other cheek, or leaving vengeance to the Lord; and yet, ten years ago they would have done these things. They've adjusted what they believe to fit their new political aims, instead of testing their new beliefs against the Bible. Besides, if you add up the letters in Bush's name using Hebrew gematriya, the answer is 666, just as predicted. We'll know soon….

The point of it is to "draft" Mr. Gore into service. Many, many people agree on draftgore.com that his integrity is what we need in the international community to restore our reputation. It will look great to have a Nobel Peace Prize winner as the leader of the free world. Oh yeah, and he is incredibly intelligent. I will not vote unless he runs.

Bob TN   November 2nd, 2007 12:25 pm ET

Al & Al in 2008!

Yeah a Sharpton/Franken ballot!!!

Alan Ashenberner, Portland Oregon   November 2nd, 2007 12:23 pm ET

I would vote for him.

imagine, New York, NY   November 2nd, 2007 12:23 pm ET

Al Gore is the only person that can bring changes to the world. All those are just empty cans that makes the most noise.

david houston texas   November 2nd, 2007 12:23 pm ET

The Republicans were dead set in thinking that Formal Vice President Al Gore would be in the bidding for president 'o8. They had their claws nice and ready. Now it looks like they will have to tear down their attack machine. Their only regret is that by F.V.P. Al Gore not running, they have wasted alot of time. The true Democrat respect F.V.P. Al Gore's decision. Its the undercover Extreamist, pretending to be Democrats, that almost demand that he run for president.

Kevin Patrick Cronin Strafford Pennsylvania   November 2nd, 2007 12:17 pm ET

I am a lifelong Democrat who would rather not vote for the first time in my life than vote for Hillary Clinton who will be more polarizing the George Bush if she is elected. I would vote for Al Gore for President with excitement and enthusiasm and believe he would make an excellent president.

Ernest, Dallas, TX   November 2nd, 2007 12:16 pm ET

@randy from OK,

For our kid's future, please try to educate yourself. Blindly following the Republican propaganda machine is not doing this country any good and makes you look like a fool.

Albert, Los Angeles, CA   November 2nd, 2007 12:15 pm ET

The biggest hypocritical moron alive. ALL scientists disagree with al-Gore but he knows better on the env't. What a bitter man. As horrific as the far left, pacifists of the current Dem candidates are, Gore would be worse. Think he knows what an Islamic terrorist is? So look for him to do well.

Joe, Columbus OH   November 2nd, 2007 12:07 pm ET

Why would you vote for a person who does NOT want your vote. This is ridiculous.

Michelle D. - Atlanta   November 2nd, 2007 12:06 pm ET

Al Gore has more class in his right pinky than the entire GOP and Democratic pack of candidates combined. At least he's dedicated his life to working to save our environment (note his course of study in college) instead of ignoring the Kyoto Treaty and refusing to acknowledge the impact or causes of Global Warming like Dubbya (yeh, keep sticking your head in the sand and pretend it doesn't matter). Sometimes it's those of us "behind the scenes" that actually get more things done than the "mouthpieces" out in front. I applaud him, his efforts and his committment to serving the citizens of the United States. I only WISH he would run. He'd have my vote in a heartbeat!!!

Tom Dedham, Mass   November 2nd, 2007 12:05 pm ET

He can't run, he and Bill had to sign in blood that one, Bill would stay with her (even though he did want to leave) and two, Gore can never run against her.

In return she will take their secrets to her grave.

As the older Bush once said or maybe just Dana Carvey, "read my lips, not gonna happen".

Todd New York, NY   November 2nd, 2007 12:03 pm ET

Please run Gore!! We need you now…your lost election was all in preparation for now!

a.thomas, ny, ny   November 2nd, 2007 12:02 pm ET

Dont bother Gore. He was humiliated in 2000 when he should have won. Many dems are still upset with his 2000 loss.

His chance of running is practically NIL, with about 2 months to go for the primaries, with the need to raise millions and millions of dollars within this short period, and with him out of the political issues for years.

Robert Jones, Oxford, AL   November 2nd, 2007 11:54 am ET

Being a staunch Republican I cannot believe that I too would like to see Al Gore on the ticket. It would be the first time in my life that I would vote for a Democrat for President.

Faiza, Los Angeles, CA   November 2nd, 2007 11:53 am ET

Seriously, give this up! Get over it and move on and look at the candidates we actually have, however repulsive you may think they are.

We had our chance in 2000 to elect him and look what happened, he barely got the popular vote and yet still lost. He tried to distance himself from Bill Clinton, that really didn't help. He picked Libermann to be his VP, not the greatest thing to do. So we had our chance, we never warmed up them when it was necessary.

So stop with this delusion and move on, he is not going to run!

Carl, Dallas, Tx   November 2nd, 2007 11:49 am ET

I know people consider Bush to be like Satan, but, to me (and I"m a democrat mind you), I would see Al Gore as the Anti-Christ.

Why? He's promising to bring us all together to change the world and premote peace… that was the first sign of what I remember in Bible class as a kid that day.

Don't be fooled by him or anyone. Every politician in the running is a horrible choice, and we are making the "best of the worst" choice here… which is awful. It's why I"m not voting.

HRC   November 2nd, 2007 11:49 am ET

CNN, thank you for not putting up on the political ticker any of the stories about Obama calling me out on playing the gender card or about my parsing and flip-flopping and the devastating videos circulating the rest of the political world. I want to thank you all for falling in line!

Flagship, Hartford, CT   November 2nd, 2007 11:45 am ET

I agree:
"Let him go on serving the world in the way HE thinks best, people. He's a grown-up."

JAS, St. Louis, MO   November 2nd, 2007 11:44 am ET

GORE/OBAMA 2008. Now that would be a ticket to vote for. He won one election, what is to say he couldn't do another. If this country had a pure popular vote system that made sense, he would be the president now!!

Mike Brown, Ithaca NY   November 2nd, 2007 11:44 am ET

It's true that Gore has a large power bill. But what has been conveniently unreported is that one reason his bill is so large is because he pays more to invest in alternative energy sources.

Although he should be wary of such a large power bill and the message it sends, this man has done more to raise awareness about global warming than anyone. You should not let a non-issue like this take away from his message and the seriousness of global climate change. It is happening, and it is our fault. Time to wake up and do something about it rather than argue about meaningless things.

LeRoy, Clearwater, FL   November 2nd, 2007 11:44 am ET

He's the biggest hypocrite on earth! Flying all over the world on private jets, having a mansion in Tenn. that takes huge amounts of electricity, telling everyone else to conserve.

He isn't needed in this policital cycle…we've got enough phonies already (Hillary is the champion there).

bean counter, Motor City, MI   November 2nd, 2007 11:43 am ET

Al looks good on the red carpet accepting an Oscar, but if on the campaign trail it won't be long before we remember Al is still a little on the boring side.

Think Fred Thompson…not running – good candiate. Running – not so good.

Besides isn't Al doing more to advance his cause than he could ever do as President?

Mark, Shreveport, La   November 2nd, 2007 11:39 am ET

You know the GOP is behind this!
They would LOVE to run against Gore!

Frank, Dayton, Ohio   November 2nd, 2007 11:39 am ET

Gore would make an outstanding president. But, I fear he has passed the point of no return as far as his candidacy is concerned. To those who are attacking him for his personal energy consumption, one only has to remember that attacking the messenger is a REALLY CHEAP way to attack the message. Shame on you.

RightyTighty   November 2nd, 2007 11:37 am ET

A man produces a "documentory" film that the English courts rule contain 19 deliberate falsifications. Dems crying about BUSH LIES for 6yrs now want said man to be their president.

Priceless!!

Anonymous, Williamsburg, VA   November 2nd, 2007 11:36 am ET

At least Gore cannot be accused of being insincere in his beliefs…Hillary, on the other hand, is clearly a hypocritical phony. Enough of this woman, her "husband", and their spin machine.

Randy S. Lawton, OK   November 2nd, 2007 11:35 am ET

Al Gore is the biggest fraud walking the face of the earth today. An Oscar for that piece of propaganda laced with inaccuracies and outright falsehoods was the first joke. But the Nobel Peace Prize, puh-leaze, first of all, what does his film have to do with world peace? Secondly, if there was any scientific truth to the film shouldn't it have fallen under one of the scientific categories.

The Oscars haven't been worth much in quite a while, now the Nobel Peace Prize is worth just about as much as the Oscar.

Remember, a judge in England found nine 'inaccuracies', a recent rebuttal by a British scientist found over 35.

So alvin bell, you just go ahead an put all your trust in this profligate liar and fraud.

Jeff Spangler, Arlington, VA   November 2nd, 2007 11:34 am ET

Too late for Al now, even though Shrillary's self-destruction has begun with the ilegal alien driver's license issue. Let Edwards move into the lead because Obama is still unelectable. Don't ask me to say why.

Henry Tucker, Ga   November 2nd, 2007 11:32 am ET

I'm sure Hil'ry LOVES this!

HA – yall rev up that Gore machine and let's watch old Hil'ry squirm a little. She doesn't like men, you know. Didn't yall hear her squealing like a stuck pig after the debate about those big bad boys saying unkind things about her?

I must admit – she is entertaining.

just say no   November 2nd, 2007 11:29 am ET

Leave him alone … the inventor of the internet is busy polishing his Dumbell Peace Prize and figuring out which attorney should represent his druggie kid at the upcoming court hearing for wreckless driving and possession of narcotics.

joseph, austin, tx   November 2nd, 2007 11:29 am ET

I heard he can walk on water, and he defeated manbearpig, I also heard that his CO2 footprint is very well endowed. The country needs you mr gore.

Alberto Nashville TN   November 2nd, 2007 11:24 am ET

Sure Draft all Democrats and Anti Bush people for duty in Baghdad ! To express their appreciation for American Freedom.

Mark, Scranton Ohio   November 2nd, 2007 11:24 am ET

a couple of points for all the morons who keep asking about Gore's electric bill:
- Gore's house is larger than most, so more electricity is required.
- What are you doing for the environment? Likely a lot less than Gore, so get off his back.

Yassi Athens GA   November 2nd, 2007 11:19 am ET

Great choice for America. Mr. Gore ! He not only knows how many counties are in every state of the USA and every country in the world. He also knows how much they are affected by Global Warming. So you see, he quite outdistances Mr. Edwards and the other Democratic Hot Air poppers.

Angelina Boston MA   November 2nd, 2007 11:17 am ET

Mr. Gore would be the best President since George Washington. He should have been our President the past 8 years. I think we should all give Mr. Gore the due respect he deserves.

Craig, Seattle, WA   November 2nd, 2007 11:16 am ET

So while some of you are hiding behind your screens attacking Gore – what the hell have you done for the planet?.. I want to see a list of things. Gore has done more for this country as a private citizen than you will ever do. He's the best qualified as well out of any potential candidate.

Blahsoni Atlanta GA   November 2nd, 2007 11:15 am ET

And who would be vice president ? Ahmoudinejad ? Or some Hitler News Network executive ?

BCNU purple state, usa   November 2nd, 2007 11:11 am ET

Shouldn't it say "Gore group hits draft"?

Outta touch, outta time.

phil margate fla.   November 2nd, 2007 11:06 am ET

he does'nt walk the walk .. typical politician .. expecting others to do what he is above having to do..whats his current electric bill? (month)

Ben, Cambridge MA   November 2nd, 2007 11:06 am ET

Don't you think the man has suffered enough at the hands of American politics?

:-}

Let him go on serving the world in the way HE thinks best, people. He's a grown-up.

alvin bell pinnacle, nc   November 2nd, 2007 11:04 am ET

I think al gore is the only person that can get us out of the mess we are in he is the only one that i trust to be president.

Salandro Sante Fe NM   November 2nd, 2007 11:02 am ET

Yeah, really, Mr. Gore. How much does all the Democratic Hot Air, espcially during a campaign year, affect Global Warming.

Bob New York NY   November 2nd, 2007 11:01 am ET

Hey Gore – what is the Emissions Rate on your Car ? How much is your Electric Bill ? Do you have a Fire Place ? How much does Democratic Hot Air during a Politcal Campaign affect global warming?

Gocnn Hurray City GA   November 2nd, 2007 10:59 am ET

Is this more HNN for Hitler News Network. Or CNN for Cheney News Network or SNN for Stalin News Network. You guys are great. Alex Rodiguez can't win a Playoff Series either. So don't feel bad about your pathetic action of controlling the news and campaign.

slinkymalinky   November 2nd, 2007 10:44 am ET
