Obama is sworn into the Senate by his eighth cousin, Vice President Cheney.
SPARTANBURG, South Carolina (CNN) – At a campaign event Saturday, Sen. Barack Obama called his distant cousin, Vice President Dick Cheney, "a crazy uncle in the attic."
Obama was referencing the recent revelation by the Vice President's wife, Lynne Cheney, that he and the Vice President are distantly related.
"For the first time in a long time, the name George Bush will not appear on the ballot," he told the crowd of about 500 people at Converse College in Spartanburg.
"The name Dick Cheney, my cousin, will not appear on the ballot," Obama said. "We had been trying to hide that cousin thing for a long time. Everybody's got a black sheep in the family. A crazy uncle in the attic."

Didn't Senator Obama take his oath of office on the Q'ran and not the King James Bible. Should we trust this man? What are his true feelings regarding Islam? Is he Arab or American? Please don't tell me his an Arab-American. We've heard enough about ethic Americanism. We are all Americans and not African-American, Chinese-American, Polish-American, we're just Americans who speak English.

I think Obama actualy missed on this one. Cheney isn't crazy. He knows exactly what he's doing. Lying, cheating , conniving, manipulating the American people for his self serving interests. It's all really well designed and those who voted his ticket bought into it. 7 years and I've been asking those people what we have gained from this administration. NO good answers yet. But I haven't asked the cronies he's set up to make money at the taxpayers expense.

Obama is a Christian, it's pretty well known fact about him.
But I don't understand your post, are you saying that Muslims can't be American? Last time I checked America ran on the principles of Freedom, you are allowed to exercise whichever religion you choose.
