Pat committed the unthinkable act of aiding in the murder of millions of babies. He is obvious that he is not a Christian. It's a dispicable act of cowardess and shows where the man's heart truly is. The sanctity of innocent life takes precedence over all other issues in life. I will never support him and i will tell everyone that he does not represent us as Christians. Consider this my sincere and stern admonishment of his irresponsible act of supporting of a baby killer, homosexual life style supporter like the candidate for the presidency he supports.

This just proves what all of the polls are saying. The most important issue our nation faces is national security. When somone like Pat Robertson puts aside his strong feelings on other issues to indorse Rudy, then that just goes to show how strongly the American people feel about it. Come election day, America will do the same.

That's good stuff Richard. I agree with your statements.

I wish I could be a liberal. I would have been a great democrat voter if the party was the same as the 1960s. I liked their values back then. I know they don't have many values now (or the groups they attract harm their image). I'm not a conservative anymore either in the way it's defined by Republicans. So I guess I'm a commy I don't know. Where do the voters fit in that value social service and God?

Well this certainly puts a new spin on Christianity through out America!

I thought for one to profess himself a Christian one would have to aspire to living life in the Model of Christ.

Where I come from that would reflect living one's life by upholding Christian values ie; truth in all things, Christian morals, and ethics.

I guess the term Christian takes on whatever Characteristics politicians see as fit in Political Campaigns.

This is refreshing, and a wise choice for Robertson to make. Giuliani's positions are not extreme or unreasonable to most people once they are understood, but too many single-issue people seem hoping for something that either can't or shouldn't happen the way they expect it to, making them willing to endorse people they wouldn't otherwise if they were to give it more thought.

Mitt Romney might be a nice enough guy personally, and even be on the side of some of the issues that appeal to such folks -- but far too many informed people are going to shy away from him come voting day due to his Mormon affiliation, largely because of the stigma the LDS church carries from its history of racism.

Are we missing something here?? It is sad what people will do to choose political power over the very “morals" they try to portray to others, creating more exasperating examples of conservative hypocrisy. I cannot see how this illogical maneuver will sway real evangelicals from voting their true conscience, which is not for Giuliani.

Thank You Richard from West Palm Beach, FL!!! You hit the nail on the head! I am tired of all the hypocrisy. America screams bloody murder over Bill Clinton and his sexual escapades but not a word about Giuliani's background. But as long as Pat Robertson likes him...That's all that matters.

Richard - West Palm Beach, FL

You wrote, "Democrats are not trying to "take away" YOUR money. They are telling you that you need to pay YOUR BILLS for the wild expenditures of Bush. Can you comprehend the impact caused by Bush increasing our national debt by FIFTY PERCENT from $6 trillion to $9 trillion? Don't you think you should have to pay for what it has bought YOU so far (good or bad)? Do you find it MORAL in any way to avoid this debt and pass it on to future generations? Is your value system such that you agree with Bush that the Clintons, Kennedys, Kerrys, Donald Trump, and Bill Gates are paying too much in taxes and you and the poor should pay more to make up the difference?"

Richard, your explanation is flawed. You suggest we should "pay our bills" of wild expenditures. What you FAIL to realize.... Hillary isn't looking to tax us more to pay down the debt (once we finish in Afghanistan/Iraq) excess revenues will go to retiring the debt automatically. What HILLARY & Co want to do is create MORE spending on new social programs: Baby Bonds, SCHIP to $83k, Universal Healthcare, Amnesty for Illegals, etc.

Hillary thinks the American Taxpayer is an open check-book for her pet projects.

No thank you.

hahahahaha thats funny...the best part about that post was the end "we all know bush was a bad president but...." but what!?!??! the evil democrats are going to try and trick us into what exactly? i mean what did the republicans do in the last 7 years that we have to be happy about? how can you look at anything bush did as acceptable enough not to switch parties!?!? hahaha a bad president? that is the biggest understatement i have ever heard. bush was the worst president in US history period. him and his republicans took the lead and they failed miserably and not only did they fail but they did it on purpose!!! they do these horrible things because they know that there is a big part of america that believes everything they are fed....that no matter how hypocritical no matter how much they ruin our country they know that a CONSUMER SOCIETY is an easily led society. and with a couple of lights and whistles they can keep the mob entertained. you are putting down the democrats but they have not even BEEN in power for the past 7 years and if you think i country is in good shape you must be watching fox news on a regular basis. its so funny that fox news acts like they are the truth and EVERY SINGLE other publication and new programs are just lying!!! lol and people believe it. like every piece of news is under control of the EVIL democrats EXCEPT fox. even though fox supports the most corrupted administration in a century. just look at the bills bush passes for christs sake!!!! look at our health care our economy our debt!!!!! when bill clinton was the president we were actually doing pretty good! and the repubs paid MILLIONS on a case of oral sex. if there is any party that is determined to gain power why dont you take a look at the party that is SPENDING THE MOST OF OUR MONEY!!!!

I am very disappoined by Pat Robertson's endorcement!

Mike Huckabee!
Mike Huckabee!
Mike Huckabee!

I prefer Mike Huckabee to every candidate we've had in the last 30 years, including Ronald Reagan. He's incredibly wise!
Like a modern day King Solomon. He sees to the heart of a matter, and make is so clear and simple. A very uncomplicated, honest, sincere hearted man. He is the man to heal the wounds of our contry, and get us working together, and out of the deep political messes we are in.

He personnifies Common Sense,
something we lost long ago and is SO UNCOMMON nowadays! Go on the internet and check him out.

Robertson's endorsement of Giuliani is no mystery. The belief Robertson holds to most steadfastly is the Second Coming of Christ. He is endorsing a reactionary, Islamophobic megalomaniac, the candidate he feels is most likely to hasten Armageddon.

Doug, New Jersey:

I applaud you for your honesty about Bush and respect your sincerity. Republicans and Democrats are not as far apart as you may think. Democrats especially value free speech and that is why they are so angry every time Bush fires or defames anyone who opposes his administration. It doesn't matter if they are career people like Richard Clarke or Joe Wilson or military heroes like John Kerry, John Murtha, or Max Cleland. The Bush administration has no qualms about trashing anyone who criticizes them.

Liberals support freedom of religion, but that means FREEDOM for whatever religious system you have. It means TRUE freedom where no one tells them what they have to believe. NO DEMOCRAT EVER says you shouldn't have the right to practice your particular religion in your homes, places of worship, or private lives anyway you want. If they show that respect for your convictions, why can't you show that same respect for those who are every bit as convinced that their different views of religion and life are right? Why must you impose your brand of religion in public places? Whatever became of the Golden Rule? If your brand of religion is so fragile that it collapses because a 10-second prayer is omitted at school each day, then you need to look at yourselves and your religious leaders and start pointing fingers for the abysmal failures.

Democrats have grave concerns about freedom and Bush's abuses of our Constitution. It was created to clearly have checks and balances and Bush has consistently refused any efforts to check up on what he is doing. He steadfastly refuses to let any of his people put their hands on the Bible he supports and swear to tell the truth.

Democrats are not trying to "take away" YOUR money. Is your value system such that you agree with Bush that the Clintons, Kennedys, Kerrys, Donald Trump, and Bill Gates are paying too much in taxes and you and the poor should pay more to make up the difference?

Liberals are fed up with a president who won't listen to them and frequently brags about "not paying any attention to polls". That is why we don't have expanded health care for children although 75% of the PEOPLE support it.

Finally, Democrats are angry about the monumental sexual hypocrisy they hear. Republicans came in being indignant about Bill Clinton's affair and promised that their "family values" were much better than the Democrats. Instead we got Mark Foley, Newt Gingrich, David Vitter, Henry Hyde, Bob Allen, "Duke" Cunningham, Rudy Giuliani, Richard Curtis, Larry Craig, etc.

There are many problems with both parties, but there is no reason for paranoia about Democrats trying to take away our right, freedom and our money like Bush has done.

Jenette,

God did tell my heart whom to support. I searched and searched (both online and inside myself). God wants me to support Ron Paul.

You're right about asking God whom to vote for. You'll get a strong feeling inside for whom is the righteous.

look who is talking about childish games.....do you really believ god has ANYTHING to do with who is in office? because if he CHOSE george bush he is definetely not THAT divine!!!! and what about richard nixon? or SADDAM HUSSEIN?? or did the devil do that? how do you decide what the devil did and what god did? in other peoples eyes our government is evil in our eyes they are evil how can you judge that we are on the side of right, that god is deciding who rules our country but pretty much doesnt care about the "brown" countries? i guess he just doesnt love the middle east and africa as much as america huh? i TRULY believe if god cared that i fasted or prayed he might also answer the countless people in africa that HAVE to fast because they are starving and STILL pray for a better life. but i guess we are better then them huh? its obvious because we have more money right? god is not making our decisions god is not involved in politics in any way and anyone who thinks different is only putting this country is a worse and worse position every year. we just had THE MOST religious aministration in the history of the US and it was a miserable failure. no matter what people that dont want to admit they were wrong think......look at the stats look at the facts and remember there are HUMAN BEINGS involved in these wars. "insurgents" arent the only ones that are dying and im sure plenty of "insurgents" arent even "insurgents" dont act like we are the good guys just because we have more money it is foolish

This is a time for all good Americans to come together and save our nation from the evil that is today's liberal Democrats.

Everyone who values free speech, freedom of religion, and a America where each and every citizen controls their own destiny needs to come together to defend the America we know and love.

Liberal democrats are going to try to take away our rights, freedom, and our money. It is time for good to come together to defeat evil.

Please take the time to read the comments on this board and all over the net from liberal Democrats to see them for who they truly are. If an ounce of goodness or decency is in your heart, you will see the threat they are and want to make sure that such hateful, angry, partisan, and deceitful people don't get the power needed to execute their plans. We all know Bush has been a bad President, don’t let that fact lead you into supporting the people who want to make this county a Karl Marx dreamland. Thank you.

Your sermon was full of the standard Repub talk....FEAR. George Bush and his Repub allies have done more to deminish our freedonm of speech and freedom of religion and our moral standing in the world than any administration in the history of this country. For example, the Patriot Act, using FISA to spy on innocent Americans, Guantanamo Bay, water boarding (torture). NEED I SAY MORE???

After reading all of this garbage, you prophetic wanna-be's and those who chose to stand in judgement of others, since apparently God went to lunch and left you all in charge, I just want to know how many of you have truly sought the face of God in this election; has he told you who to vote for or are you just going to vote according to what looks 'good'.
Did it not even occur to any of you that Almighty God who is in control of ALL things is also going to be in control of who is placed in the White House next year? Do you not believe that God himself can change the hearts and minds of men for the good? How do you know that Pat Robertson has or has not heard from the Lord. I believe in the sovereignty of my God and trust that if I do my part (prayer & fasting)
He will hear and respond. Meanwhile I believe that as a nation we need to pull together and stop this absolutely childish game of judging situations and individuals. If you are who you want the world to think you are then start by growing up and acting like the "Bride of Christ". Remember, if it were not for the blood of Jesus, there would be no hope for any of us.

Pat is thinking whoever can beat Hillary, I'm choosing that guy. Rudy is "that" guy, so why not choose him. Actually, he's trying to bring the religious conservatives together in order to beat Queen Hillary.

you know what the difference between the dems and the repubs is the fact that, yea, dems dont mind the views of code pink and move on because they are just MAD WITH THE current administration of corruption in the white house to be honest MORE people should be ENRAGED!!!! and the repubs are just for big business and fake religious politics real and TRUE and BLANTANT corruption using the religious right for votes because they know they are the most impressionable people in the country!!!! and the american people dont approve the senate because the war is still going on and the problem is the american people dont REEARCH anything. that fact that the dems still dont have enough votes capable of stopping the war. so now george ush is trying to move the blame of this war from himself onto congress. congress is just behind the money and they have of choice of cutting off supplies for troops in battle. and bush is definetely asking for more then what they need but hes not going to change his bid and the dems are stuck in a checkmate move.....its so crazy that the american people will look at moveon.org and codepink as a worse threat then big corporations and religious fanatics. america is lost and i truly hope it finds its way. someone in this blog said "lets give giuliani a try and if he messes up he wont have another term." see that is the problem we dont realize the impact of a presidency because it is not DIRECTLY effecting us this very second. like its ok to give a bad president 4 years because we can just change him after.....god save america PLEASE!!!! poor people voting for big business and they dont even know it!!! the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didnt exist!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking as a life-long "religious" (though I hate that term), evangelical, conservative man, I can say this about Pat Robertson and his endorsement:

It means absolutely nothing to me. Pat Robertson and his comments have no relevance to me or my faith, whether he's endorsing a president, or claiming he has a word from God about Hugo Chavez, etc. He is no more a leader to me than the grocer down the street at the supermarket. I have much more respect for men like Rick Warren and Billy Graham, who stand up for truth but also show grace in their actions and words.

This is the guy who agreed with evangelical activist Jerry Falwell that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks were caused by "pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays, lesbians, the American Civil Liberties Union and the People For the American Way." Then after public outcry regarding the dialog, which was conducted via television monitor and took place only days after the attacks, Robertson claimed that his earpiece was malfunctioning, and that he was unaware of what he was agreeing with at the time.

Whatever, Pat!

Rudy, give back this endorsement! Both of you do not share the same values! Where is the integrity? What a shame...

Pat Robertson, who says he can steer hurricanes and leg lift 650 pounds MORE than our top athletes, is now supporting the biblical equivalent of Bill Clinton when it comes to sexual morality. There are numerous statements in the Bible similar to - Matthew 10:11 which says “And He said to them whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her".

Rudy Giuliani is perfect for the Republican Party. More than any other candidate, he symbolizes the incredible sexual morals hypocrisy of his party.

How can ANY Christian support ANY candidate that supports an unjustified war that has killed 650,000+ Iraqis and almost 4000 US soldiers PLUS a candidate that favors EXPANDED war with Iran that will kill countless more innocent people? This is a war for oil it's not protecting America. If anything it's inciting more hatred toward America and not just from "Islamic Extremists" but the whole world. This is absolutely disgusting and all Christians who supposedly love the Prince of Peace - Jesus Christ should be sick to their stomachs right now.

This is absolutely disgusting and all Christians who supposedly love the Prince of Peace – Jesus Christ should be sick to their stomachs right now.

Henry Tucker, calls "Bill Clinton a sexual predator."

Hey Henry, he's not a "predator," and he at least prefers women, in contrast to a large chunk of the Republican congress. Bill and Hillary are still married, unlike Rudy who changes wives as often as his shorts. What will Rudy do with America when he finds a new love? I suppose you feel fickled leaders and closet homosexual lawmakers are preferable. What a moron.
