Clinton had to contend with falling flag poles at a press conference Monday.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — She has come under increased heat recently from her Democratic presidential rivals, but on Sunday Sen. Hillary Clinton was on the receiving end of a different kind of attack — falling flag poles.

The Democratic presidential frontrunner was wrapping up a press conference in Waterloo, Iowa when several large flag poles directly behind her started to fall down, as shown on a video posted by ABC News.

Aides came rushing to the stage as Clinton herself tried to handle the falling flags crashing around her.

"I think the bases are not weighted enough," the New York senator can be heard saying on video captured by ABC.

After a couple minutes, the flags were successfully stabilized.

I think people will regret not voting her in for President. Because I think she would do a great job. An what they do in their pesonal life is there on business. It is not for us to judge them. They will answer for what they do in it own good time. As long as they do their job as they say they will. Who are you or I to judge any one. I just think it is time to put a woman in office and see how much gets done. As we all know is that it is the woman behind the man who does it all anyway. If it was not for us women, how do you think men get the job done. IT IS THE WOMAN THAT GETS IT DONE. SO SHE SHOULD BE IN OFFICE!!!!!!! Just remember how everyone feels about what BUSH has done. It could be a lot better than what it is. But if things do not go the way it should, we will never know. Will we. Peace not war.

Hi.
As a voter I was unsure how to vote on the upcoming election. I am a Republican but do not like the course my party has taken this country. I considered voting for Mrs Clinton but after seeing this video I have decided against that. My reasons are this:
When I was a child in elementery school, a general assembly was called to announce the honor students. One teacher was in the auditorium with his leg in a knee brace. When the main doors opened with the honor students entering, the California State flag and U.S flag started to fall, and this teacher dashed across the stage and caught the flags before they fell to the ground. Everyone clapped and cheered him, and it is something I never forgot. After spending 20 yrs serving in the military I still appreciate and respect the reasons why he dove for those flags.
Had Mrs. Clinton made at least a modest effert to catch those flags, or showed the same concern after they touched the ground, she would have had my vote, and Im sure the vote of the country. It is the smallest of things to sacrifice for, to show genuine concern for the largest responsibility of all.

What does a flag pole have to do with the election… even the Irony, as some have pointed out… is a reach.

REALITY FOLKS… vote for another Republican… and our rights, our nation, and our democracy will be danger… not only from without… but from within…

I'd also like to add… CNN… why are you wasting our time with this?

You would think that as a presidential frontrunner she would have some idea of what to do IF A U.S. FLAG HITS THE GROUND!!!! The first sign of a poor leader is one who cannot surround themselves with effective people. Even if you wouldn't expect HER to know it, you would at least expect that someone in her squad of hangers on would have a clue. If she gets elected I am moving.

Posted By P-Portland Maine : November 12, 2007 3:46 pm

Hey P-Portland, ever been surprised by something and been caught dumbstruck?

This doesn't say ANYTHING about Clinton. It was a simple human goof (the equivalent of stubbing your toe), and doesnt mean any more then that. Her staff responded as quickly as anyone could.

If you want to talk about slow-responding, inneffective people, you lets talk about Bush.

Hillary supporters are whining and wondering why this made on as a story. The reason this is a story is that her campaign is collapsing because she has been exposed as someone with no depth – the metaphor of the flags coming down because the bases were not weighted is too good to miss. To spell it out for the Hil supporters – if someone with no substance(the flag bases) gets elected, this nation(the flags) will collapse. Can't you appreciate the poetry here?

Kristy Sanborn   November 13th, 2007 12:33 am ET

during a wedding ceremony, the curtain behind the minister fell. Someone said, like my mother, "thats a sign" and I didn't listen for years later. It was a sign alright! Just like these fallen flags.
On another ticker subject, I had just posted about the producer saying Hillary as our president is nuts, that the producer was thinking ahead for a movie if she is elected. Called "The Day America Went Down"
Then I see this article.
Interesting.

For those who use this instance as a means to criticize Clinton, it's simply some flags falling over. And the answers she gives are straight forward. If you can't understand the complexity of the decisions that need to be made, it looks ridiculous and uneducated of you to simplify it as "she's a liar/fraud". It's people like you who voted Bush into office, and look at where we're at: a war that's funded by BORROWED money, a failed No Child Left Behind program, vetoed CHIP measure on the basis of fiscal discipline (whatever).

And I am not a Hillary supporter either, just to nip that come back in the bud, but I am not a Hillary hater either. The MSM wants a fight because it makes them money. If Clinton is a done deal, and regardless of whether or not Dems say so, it is in the MSM's interest to hype a fight, hype devision, and hype the uber-hyped-up-anti-Clinton RW sentiment. Stop and think where the money is. Frankly, I will vote Dem no matter which one is nominated. Does anyone want more of what we have? Does anyone want what the GOP field is offering us? If Hillary is elected president, we will look back on this event as the foretelling of the downfall of the United States of America. She is the worst thing that could possibly happen to this country. Bill was a terrible Commander in Chief, he refused to allow our soldiers to us Armor in Somalia (Black Hawk Down) because he thought it would be to "high profile". Bill stood by while 1,000,000 men, women, and children were slaughterd in Ruwanda and he spent over a month debating the definition of "Genocide". It's all on tape. One million lives later, Bill later recounted that he could have saved half a million people if he had sent in 5-10,000 marines. That's all it would have taken! He could have saved innocent lives in Somalia and Ruwanda. But in typical Clinton form, he played the political hand. Please America, do not let the Clintons back into the Whitehouse.

RTH, Bellingham, WA   November 12th, 2007 9:42 pm ET

She said the bases weren't "weighted" enough, not that they weren't "strong" enough. I'm sure her voter base weighs plenty, and they probably don't fall over unprovoked.

Seriously people, stop trying to wax prophetic. Mechanical failures are not news.

Its so funny that right wingers don't have any policy issues to talk about. So, stories like Edward Hair Cut, Obama's posture on "Pledge of Allegiance" on a dias and now "Flag poles falling during Hillary campaign" will give them something to talk about. But, americans are not going to be fooled again this time as happened in 2004 by Swift Boaters ads. Whetehr it be Hillary, Obama, or Biden, people are going to vote on issues and not on these tabloid stories. Its a good omen for Hillary! She or the other democrats will restore the image these falling flags happened during Bush regime.

This is not news. It is not a catastrophe. It is a simple clumsy accident by some woman in the background. I am surprised this has been reported at all.

The only point to mention is that, as a vet, I would wish that some of the people in her entourage would have had more urgency and consideration for the flag. It should not be allowed to touch the ground. There should have been an effort by those in the background to prevent it from falling.

Flags falling on Clinton are eerily reminiscent of a lamp falling on her and Bill during a TV interview prior to Bill becoming President. The interview was focused on Bill's philandering ways, and Hillary was doing her 'stand-by-your-man' role to help him, er, THEM win the presidency. More seriously though, this is a bad omen for Clinton: If she becomes President, American will fall! God is speaking but ain't nobody listening?

I want experience and competency over inexperience and likeability, I want a German Shepard not a warm puppy.

Robert, Shelton, CT   November 12th, 2007 3:54 pm ET

I'm a Clinton supporter, but how is this news?

Dave, Atlanta, GA   November 12th, 2007 3:50 pm ET

When stories like these show up in the ticker people always chastise CNN for printing worthless news, and yet, this particular story has more comments than any other story in the ticker. If CNN is wrong for printing worthless news, what does this say about the people giving this "worthless" news more attention than more worthy stories?

Scott, Knoxville, TN   November 12th, 2007 3:48 pm ET

My news goes like this: a Republican candidate was giving a speech when all of a sudden, the sun started shining bright, along came a flock of doves, and then it happened… a big fat pile of bird poo smacked him right in the mouth!

Get a life, people. It's a sign you people are crazy. I suppose the bird poo smells like roses, though.

Jay, Knoxville, TN   November 12th, 2007 3:47 pm ET

The gentleman who said "The 90's were awful" must have slept through most of them……no deficit, no war, America actually had a surplus!

Karen, NYC   November 12th, 2007 3:47 pm ET

Dayum shame! Not even the flags want her as President.

SAY NO to BILLARY! The American FLAGS DID!

P-Portland Maine   November 12th, 2007 3:46 pm ET

You would think that as a presidential frontrunner she would have some idea of what to do IF A U.S. FLAG HITS THE GROUND!!!! The first sign of a poor leader is one who cannot surround themselves with effective people. Even if you wouldn't expect HER to know it, you would at least expect that someone in her squad of hangers on would have a clue. If she gets elected I am moving.

Adam in Ohio   November 12th, 2007 3:45 pm ET

Yes, you group of stupid posters, there can't be a clearer sign of … something … than gravity doing what it does.

Ropper,mass   November 12th, 2007 3:45 pm ET

What does Bill has to say this time :)
Did he come to your rescue?

James,ks,mo   November 12th, 2007 3:43 pm ET

If people don't say it is enough of these cronies, American flags are ready to take a stand!!

Terry Tazewell,VA   November 12th, 2007 3:42 pm ET

Why are we talking Bush? We need to look forward. Do we want another unethical Clinton to impeach? Bring her on. Maybe she will get a stain on her suit!!

saygizz,NYC,NY   November 12th, 2007 3:39 pm ET

What a bad Omen for this coutry if headed by Clintons again?

Jessica, worcester,ma   November 12th, 2007 3:38 pm ET

American flogs come down crashing on hillary? I guess no comment needed, they say it all!

steve,Cl,Ohio   November 12th, 2007 3:37 pm ET

May be this is a sign of what would happen if she become the president of united state. Certainly, don't wanna fall with her… Get me another person to lead this country…

Airborne C.   November 12th, 2007 3:35 pm ET

I see Monica L is behind that right flag!

Ryan Indianapolis   November 12th, 2007 3:34 pm ET

Instant Karma is going to get you Hillary….

Emma Morrow, Urbana, IL   November 12th, 2007 3:34 pm ET

Oh my, the irony!

Chris, Pensacola FL   November 12th, 2007 3:33 pm ET

It's funny when I look at the different "tickers". You have some people saying right wing nuts on liberal boards. Then you have some people saying liberal nuts on convservative boards.

I think you ALL are nuts and have too much hatred in your hearts. There is a reason Russia fell and we are well on our way by calling each other out and turning brother against brother. You people need to embrace each other. You'll need it soon enough.

Wayne, Greenville TX   November 12th, 2007 3:32 pm ET

Sounds like a slow-news day….

Michel, Los Angeles, CA.   November 12th, 2007 3:29 pm ET

What’s more fascinating than this story is the number of morons who've read meaning into it.

Larry / Covington, Louisiana   November 12th, 2007 3:28 pm ET

You do have to admit that no one will ever accuse the die-hard liberals of ever having a sense of humor. Many of us other folks can have a good chuckle at our own stumblings, and learn from them. When a person cannot find some amusement in his or her own flaws and not be so self-absorbed, then this greatly concerns me. For the die-hard Hillary fans, she has a great opportunity to use this in a comical way to her credit if they can write her the appropriate words soon enough. Dan Quayle misspelled potato and it was used mercilessly on him for months when he was running for VP with Bush senior. That was of course a news story. If you think I’m kidding, do a Google search for “Quayle potato”. It was fair to use this to bring him down? Hypocrisy, thy name is agenda.

DefendTheConstitution   November 12th, 2007 3:28 pm ET

That was the ghosts of our founding fathers attacking Hillary before she takes control and destroys the final remnants of America.

Chelsea Garen, Vista, California   November 12th, 2007 3:27 pm ET

I don't think that it is a big deal for the news regarding to the flag's incident. If someone really wants to make a big deal for this incident, supportors of Hillary Clinton would like to tell you that she will make history with the powerful wind force, even the static objects around her would salute to her strength !
In short, this nation needs to change the course, she is the right one who can lead the country to the strong in the world !

rusty schackle   November 12th, 2007 3:24 pm ET

I love it!clinton got hit by a flag pole!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave Michaels, Howe, Indiana   November 12th, 2007 3:22 pm ET

My thought is that Hillary (or is it Billary) has our fore fathers spinning in their graves. I'm surprised that the flags didn't grow legs and run off of the stage….

K, New Jersey   November 12th, 2007 3:21 pm ET

Good lord, the omen seekers are falling flat in their 'witty' comments.

And Bush choked on a pretzel…just like he choked at running the country. We can find cheap jokes all around.

Hillary 08   November 12th, 2007 3:19 pm ET

It's ALL Bush's Fault!!!!!

Brent, St. Paul, MN   November 12th, 2007 3:19 pm ET

"Aides came rushing to the stage" Umm, no. There were a couple people there and they reached out and steadied some flags. They just sort of limply fell–nothing came "crashing down."

Classic case of "make a story out of NOTHING."

Rodney Roanoak, VA   November 12th, 2007 3:18 pm ET

I think if I were an American Flag – I would finding a way out of a Hillary speech too!

Rory, Savannah GA   November 12th, 2007 3:16 pm ET

How is this news again?

Phil Chicago, Ill   November 12th, 2007 3:15 pm ET

You Right Wing Nut Jobs can stick with you "Omens". Hillary is the best candidate for the job….PERIOD.

Posted By John, Euless, TX : November 12, 2007 3:10 pm

LOL – when conservatives comment about the irony of Hillary's misfortune, we're "nutjobs". When liberals suggest Bush/Cheney planned 9/11 – THEY'RE the sane ones?

Greg, Phoenix, AZ   November 12th, 2007 3:14 pm ET

No comment needed here.

Think it is fairly self-explanatory.

Jason, Atlanta, GA   November 12th, 2007 3:14 pm ET

Drudge, FOX news and every Republican is praying to God that Hillary falters…b/c they have no answer for her. Obama and Edwards they crush. What Republican will vote for Obama? He's for gun control, will raise taxes, loves illegals….let me stop. Another media generated candidate that's not ready for the White House.

muthoni,boston,ma   November 12th, 2007 3:13 pm ET

just another symbol on how unstable you are, falling to the direction the wind is falling…mmmmmh those flags must be piling on you too…
This is happened in Iowa and guess that is a bad omen for hillary as a state that will determine her fate. I don't trust you gal just give up!
Gitahi, what do you make of this down there in tx?
Obama 08!

Ben Schrag, Maryville MO   November 12th, 2007 3:11 pm ET

Thank you all for all of the very funny posts.

I wasn't sure what to make of this upcoming election cycle, but now that the symbolic nature of these events have been pointed out to me, I have radically changed my thoughts on the candidates.

I do have one question: Should I assume that candidates who AREN'T nearby falling flags automatically SHOULD be president? I mean, it's great that the flags are participating more in American politics, but they seem to be waffling a bit. They clearly do not want Senator Clinton, but who DO they want? They've been seen with so many other candidates, it's a little hard to know…

CNN, have you considered conducting a serious of in-depth interviews with American flags in order pin them down on a specific endorsement???

Rodney Dallas TX   November 12th, 2007 3:11 pm ET

You know, people often say the 90's were horrible yet Bill Clinton left the White House with a 65% approval rating. That's more than JFK, Reagon, and elder Bush. What exactly was so bad when over half the country approved of him?

John, Euless, TX   November 12th, 2007 3:10 pm ET

You Right Wing Nut Jobs can stick with you "Omens". Hillary is the best candidate for the job….PERIOD.

Anonymous   November 12th, 2007 3:09 pm ET

I usually don't post comments to this boards, but this is the biggest waste of time in reporting that I have ever seen. Can we get some real news besides flags falling on people and Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears?

Rodney Dallas TX   November 12th, 2007 3:08 pm ET

Before even reading the comments, I already new what the viewers were saying. You Clinton haters are soooo easy to read. The flag poles fell because whoever set them up did a lousy job.

Mike, Owosso, Michigan   November 12th, 2007 3:06 pm ET

It sounds like some of the above readers try to make something out of nothing. Like everytime they take a dump they have to take a close look at it and find a political overtone in it that makes their candidate look good.

ELEEANOR FREEMAN   November 12th, 2007 3:03 pm ET

WELL HAVE READ ALL THE COMMENTS AND I THINK YOU ARE WRONG BY TRYING TO PULL THE RUG FROM UNDER HILLARYS FEET. LIKE I SAID BEFORE I WON'T VOTE FOR SOMEONE THAT PLAYS DIRTY POOL.BETTER THINK TWICE BEDORE YOU TRY TO GET HILLARY DOWN. I DON'T THINK SHE WILL GO DOWN. PEOPLE MAKE FUN LIKE KINDERGARDENERS. FOR SHAME

Dan, TX   November 12th, 2007 3:03 pm ET

This is total nonsense. How can anyone criticize Clinton for this?

Although I plan to vote for Obama, these silly, meaningless non-events have no business on the CNN "Political" Ticker.

Tony, Tulsa, OK   November 12th, 2007 3:01 pm ET

Yeah assuming this is an omen is the same kind of magical thinking people engage in when they think Barack Obama will be the messiah of the Democratic party.

Marc, Williamsburg, VA   November 12th, 2007 3:00 pm ET

SERIOUSLY… How is this news? And why are you creating deceptive headlines that do not pertain to actual events? Maybe I missed the part of the video that shows the flags falling on Ms. Clinton, I don't know!

Lorenz, Queens, NY   November 12th, 2007 3:00 pm ET

Oh the IRONY

Apparently only Republicans read CNN online.

Captain America   November 12th, 2007 2:55 pm ET

She must've have said the word BUSH, that not not only makes Flags fall, but economies, budget surpluses, employment rates, and the truth fall.

TC Minneapolis MN   November 12th, 2007 2:52 pm ET

It's a sign! She's anti-American, so the flags just fell right on her. No room for socialist rhetoric in this country.

Daniel, NY   November 12th, 2007 2:50 pm ET

In more relevant news, Hillary Clinton is not hurting at all in the latest poll of Florida out yesterday. SHe dominates the primary, and does slightly better than Edwards and Obama in the general election. Link

M. Lou Madison, WI   November 12th, 2007 2:47 pm ET

Lighten up, people.

This could have happened to ANY of the candidates, and it still would be funny.

amy, Seattle, WA   November 12th, 2007 2:46 pm ET

And you are all idiots! yes, sure, it was God's sign answering your prayers.

Just look at the image: She helped herself to handle the falling flags.

dark side of the funny farm   November 12th, 2007 2:45 pm ET

It's a sign from God.

Disclaimer: note, not the God from any major religion. Jerks, how you like me now!

Thanks so much for posting this important piece of information, I'm sure our voters are so much more educated now!!!

BUSH, LA.   November 12th, 2007 2:45 pm ET

DID ANYONE BLAME BUSH YET? DANG -LMAO

Bea, Hoboken, NJ   November 12th, 2007 2:44 pm ET

This is so silly!!! Someone opens the curtains and knocks over the flags. They all rush to catch them before they hit the ground. What's the big deal?

This would have been just as much of a non issue if it had happened to any other candidate. How is this news?

Paul Conley, Palmetto Bay, Florida   November 12th, 2007 2:43 pm ET

Only the idiotic Republican right can read symbolism in this. Kind of reminds me of Bush tugging on a locked door..locked down and can't get out…

anonymous   November 12th, 2007 2:43 pm ET

this makes me giggle like a schoolgirl

Nat, NYC   November 12th, 2007 2:42 pm ET

Did Hillary sponsored the amendment about American flag in Senate? Even Flags can't tolerate her.

Jacqueline, Defiance, Ohio   November 12th, 2007 2:39 pm ET

What i find amusing, is all the people that write in here, "oh this is not news, thanks CNN" blah blah blah. Why are u reading it then u idiots!! if u dont care about it so much why take the time to even read it, my goodness. But i think i agree with the concensus that this is an omen of what will happen if that woman gets elected.

Adam, Boise, ID   November 12th, 2007 2:38 pm ET

Besides the sudden foreshadowing of events to come for Hillary, this is news because………..????

Portland   November 12th, 2007 2:38 pm ET

If this would have been Obama, he would be un-American and a terrorist. Kind of like the not wearing a lapel pin, and a picture of him without his hand over his heart.

OBAMA 08

New campaign chant…Hillary? Oh Wait! (08)

Drew Moody, San Antonio, Texas   November 12th, 2007 2:34 pm ET

Why is this even being posted?

Carter, Flint MI   November 12th, 2007 2:33 pm ET

The symbolism here is just as profound as the day when President Ronald Reagan received a gift of a stallion on the white house lawn. Said stallion made his equine excitement very evident. The President chuckled about the reproductive potential while the First Lady blushed and covered her mouth.

banko   November 12th, 2007 2:30 pm ET

This is a bad sign for Hillary. Cut your losses and bow out before the wind of change takes it natural. You can not foul the people all the time.

Chuckles, Sacramento, Calif.   November 12th, 2007 2:29 pm ET

Those darn flag poles…don't they know that if you don't stand for anything you you'll fall down. Maybe Mark Penn didn't do a good enough job with these polls, er, poles. More evidence that the weight of Hillary's base is eroding…and I'm not talking about her cankles.

Joe, Southwest Vermont   November 12th, 2007 2:29 pm ET

Well, I guess we need to look at the positive side. At least it wasn't a white flag. Jeez, when you're on a roll, you're on a roll.

John New York, NY   November 12th, 2007 2:29 pm ET

If this had happened to Obama, people who are supporting Clinton would have made snide, unnecessary comments, like "it's not just the flags that are falling down- ha ha ha."

Tom, ALBUQUERQUE, NM   November 12th, 2007 2:29 pm ET

Just what Hillary Clinton needs in her life 'a little more drama'. This is not really a news story but since Hillary is the soon-to-be next President of the USA I guess her every move and nuance is a big news story. As always Hillary handle the situation with affable poise..

Thomas   November 12th, 2007 2:28 pm ET

This is news? My god, I think a few journalist need to ask their college for their money back. You're losing it…CNN

Brian   November 12th, 2007 2:28 pm ET

CLINTON RESCUES FLAGS LIKE SHE IS GOING TO RESCUE AMERICA!!

Larry   November 12th, 2007 2:27 pm ET

this is as newsworthy as the current headline article on cnn.com…a rappers mother dies. Pathetic.

Terry, Tazewell VA   November 12th, 2007 2:25 pm ET

This is a sign of what will happen to this country if she is elected. When she tries to court people of faith, I hope no one gets hurt when the church roof falls!!

George, Indianapolis, IN   November 12th, 2007 2:23 pm ET

Didn't the television lights come crashing down around Bill & Hillary Clinton during a 60 minutes interview in a hotel somewhere in the 1990s? I remember seeing the clip once on television and from the look of panic on their faces it was evident they didn't know what was happening but thought it was an attack of some sort.

Mark Columbus, Ohio   November 12th, 2007 2:23 pm ET

Paul from Florida writes: I am surprised that the right wing did not claim this as a character defect showing she is soft of terrorism.

Hey Paul. Your comment doesn't make sense and it only shows that you are supporting a very, very shallow politican.

How very symbolic.

CNN?

So, you guys are not really siding anyone, it's just you report tabloid news, huh?

Amazing to "the trusted name in news"

lol

David J. Ft Collins, CO   November 12th, 2007 2:17 pm ET

It seems sort of prophetic. Clinton speaks, the American flags fall. Very chilling symbolism…

HILLARY '08!

J Houston, TX   November 12th, 2007 2:17 pm ET

Any Republican should be praying she gets the nomination. Any Democrat should know better.

Frankly, the 90s were terrible and I don't want them back

Larry / Covington, Louisiana   November 12th, 2007 2:14 pm ET

Could there possibly be a clearer sign? Rather an ominous warning, I would say.

Pamela Nelson, Schaumburg, IL   November 12th, 2007 2:14 pm ET

Did this happen on Sunday, as indicated in the text, or Monday, as indicated in the photo caption?

Either way, I'm glad that Hillary wasn't injured, and the opportunity to help right the flags.

BCNU purple state, usa   November 12th, 2007 2:14 pm ET

She's so polarizing, even the metal in the flagpoles was repelled!

NANDO MIAMI,FL   November 12th, 2007 2:11 pm ET

I guess they Couldn't take it anymore either. Just give us straight answers.

Phil Chicago, Ill   November 12th, 2007 2:08 pm ET

How apropo – the stage around Hillary falling apart.

Immediately my mind hears Hillary citing a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and her husband Bill blaming her opponents for another swiftboat moment.

demwit   November 12th, 2007 2:08 pm ET

American flags attack Hillary on the day before Veterns day. Isn't it ironic…

Lee, syracuse, ny   November 12th, 2007 2:07 pm ET

These are Obama/Edwards flag poles with weak bases. You should see them fall starting in January 2008.

Pepe   November 12th, 2007 2:07 pm ET

There is a sign for you.

Joe Ossai, Bedford, NH   November 12th, 2007 2:07 pm ET

Sign of things to come. This fraud is coming downn fast.

Paul C., Palmetto Bay, FL   November 12th, 2007 2:06 pm ET

I'm glad no one was not hurt.

Ron, TX   November 12th, 2007 2:02 pm ET

Coincidence?! I think not! She really just can't catch a break. She's been crashing and fumbling the past two weeks. She really should just go ahead and give up. A 3rd place finish in Iowa is going to be very embarassing.

Sophie, Baton Rouge, Louisiana   November 12th, 2007 2:02 pm ET

Haha. About the same thing that would happen to this country if she made it in office.

Brian, Olympia, WA   November 12th, 2007 1:59 pm ET

Thank you, CNN, for hard-hitting political stories like this one. Keep on doing your part to keep the electorate informed enough to make educated decisions at the polls.

You worthless sods.

Don, Denver CO   November 12th, 2007 1:56 pm ET

Anyone else see the irony of this? If you elect Hillary this is what you can expect. The falling down of America even further than it is today.
