		<description>In response to Jon&#039;s request we defend 3 positions: 

It is not the Ron Paul supporters or Ron Paul that has to justify these positions any longer. It is the U.S. government that is due an explanation as to the failed policies that are robbing our nation of treasure, privacy, health, families, and ultimately our Liberty. It is you that owes an explanation to your fellow Americans as to why you continue to support failed and destructive policies  that have ravaged American society over the last century. And in our view, it is time for those who have forced their views on the public through government beaurocracy and disinformation campaigns to be held accountable to the American people. As Ronald Reagan himself asked in his 1976 speech in support of Goldwater, are we not due a some type of progress report on these social programs? 

1. The &quot;drug war&quot; is a failed policy that is destroying our personal liberties, flooding our prisons with nonviolent offendors who spend more time in jail than murderers and rapists, and ultimately over substances less harmful as alcohol (no matter how much this information is supressed). Decriminilization is NOT legalization, it is a sane and humane policy to move into medical treatment of addicts and get away from destroying families of substance abusers.

2. Ron Paul has stated quite clearly that his intention is to prevent the CIA, FBI, etc. from continuing to do damage and incite hatred in other countries. He has the position that it is time for these organizations to be held accountable for their actions. It is time to streamline and rebuild these groups in order to create a more secure nation, not to eliminate intelligence gathering as some would want the public to believe.

And as much as some would like to continue the American empire, the fact of the matter is we have no reason to continue subsidizing Europe&#039;s defense while our nation suffers the cost. And we have no reason to continue the prevention of the reunification of Korea. As you mentioned China, I am sure you understand as Ron Paul does that our greatest threat to our national security is China. But not by military force, but by the simple and very well known fact that China owns a large portion of our national debt. Money which as repaid they use to purchase military equipment and expand their military capabilities. 

Ron Paul is about sanity in domestic and foreign policies, and a return to traditional American values.</description>

Ron Paul is the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton.

1. Ron Paul owns her on the war.  She voted to go to Iraq (won&#039;t say she was wrong), declared Iranian Rev. Guard Terrorist, and said it would 2012 till we got the troops out.

2. He will reduce the budget and taxes (he is the only one who talks about the deficit and the harm it is doing via inflation)

3. He is intergrity.  No SKELETONS in the closet.  A honest and clean voting record.  

4. He stands for liberty and less gov.


A breath of fresh air than none of the other Republicans can bring to the table, and he will defeat Hillary once we give him that chance.</description>

Then two weeks ago I found Ron Paul thanks to his supporters on this blog.

He is also the only candidate that can beat Hillary.  He can bring together Conservatives, Liberals, Independants, and just about anyone else.



1.) Ron Paul is left of Hillary on the war. She will not commit to bring the troops home. She will not commit to having dialog with Iran to ward off conflict. She has 0 foreign policy experience, unless you count what Bill did. I do not. She voted FOR the Iraq war and will not admit that vote was a mistake. Ron Paul&#039;s position on this resonates with 70% of the American people.

2.) Ron Paul is right of Hillary on spending, the budget, and the economy. Hillary is completely out-classed in this category. As we all know our wonderful Congressman does not vote to raise his pay, does not take the pension plan, does not vote for unbalanced budgets, is infinitely better in his understanding of economics and he marketplace, does not want to raise taxes, and has a 10 term congressional voting record to back that up.

3.) Hillary will attempt to run on socialized medicine. Ron Paul is a doctor and will be able to sucessfully rebut any argument she makes on this issue through personal first-hand knowledge of the sytem, its flaws, and what is needed to fix it.

4.) Our candidate Ron Paul has taken a consistant position on illegal immigration that is not only &quot;block the border&quot; but also addresses the socio-economic reasons we have illegal immigration in the first place. Hillary can&#039;t even say whether or not she supports driver&#039;s licenses for illegal immigrants.

5.) Hillary Clinton has been up to her eyeballs in scandals throughout her career. Big stuff, not just little stuff. Our candidate Ron Paul is as pure as the driven snow in his personal life and in his voting record. He&#039;s got integrity, honesty, great work ethic, and principles. And we have the records to prove it.</description>
