Tom - Dedham, Mass,

I wasn’t posting to defend Hillary, I was posting to show Shawnie’s hypocrisy.

See, I could care less if the “queen is getting burned” since I don’t support her for my own reasons. Now, that being said, I’m going to assume here that you aren’t accusing me of supporting her with your post – cuz you’d be an idiot if you were.

I wanted to see if SHAWNIE could list anything remotely close to 10 flip flops about Hillary, since she supports Romney – someone who’s flip-flopped on WAY more issues than Hillary.

By the way, you listed 4 issues that Hillary flip-flopped on – immigration/citizenship, invasion approval, troop withdrawal, and torture.

Now go back and count, from my last post, how many issues Romney flip-flopped on.

Oh, and of course – STILL no response from Shawnie! LOL

she shouldn't have changed her mind on the issue after she already said the opposite. I think that illegal immigrants should not be granted licenses because they shouldnt be here in the first place.Many people will probably criticize hillary for changing her opinion.Also i think it could hurt her race for president because of her uncertainty on important issues.

Hilary, you are still the best! I would rather you say what you are saying than dealing with Obama who is so inesperience and cold. I can see growth for you in the future and God will bless you. You are a strong woman and great leader and will be my Prime MInister. Way to go......

After New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer ended his bid to provide driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, Sen. Hillary Clinton's rivals came out swinging against the Democratic presidential hopeful for her reaction.

Sen. Hillary Clinton; the Democratic presidential hopeful should have a reaction when some of truths shall eventually emerge into the light.

What is amazing is; "How" could the American people be so ignorant to
elect this guy President for a second term???
P.S. Note who pardoned Bill Clinton for Draft Dodging.

Subject: Bill Clinton

             Bill &Hillary, 1970

             BILL CLINTON's MILITARY CAREER

             (Bill & Hillary - Grit your teeth before you read this!)

             Bill Clinton registers for the draft on September 08, 1964,
accepting all contractual conditions of registering for the draft.
Selective Service Number is 326 46 228.

             Bill Clinton classified 2-S on November 17, 1964.

             Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on March 20, 1968.

             Bill Clinton ordered to report for induction on July 28, 1969.

             Bill Clinton refuses to report and is not inducted into the military.

             Bill Clinton reclassified 1-D after enlisting in the United
States Army Reserves on August 07, 1969, under authority of COL. E. Holmes.

             Clinton signs enlistment papers and takes oath of enlistment.

             Bill Clinton fails to report to his duty station at the University of Arkansas ROTC, September 1969.

             Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on October 30, 1969, as
enlistment with Army Reserves is revoked by Colonel E. Holmes and Clinton
now AWOL and subject to arrest under Public Law 90-40 (2) (a) registrant
who has failed to report...remain liable for induction.

             Bill Clinton's birth date lottery number is 311, drawn
December 1, 1969, but anyone who has already been ordered to report for
induction is INELIGIBLE!

             Bill Clinton runs for Congress (1974), while a fugitive from justice under Public Law 90-40.

             Bill Clinton runs for Arkansas Attorney General (1976), while a fugitive from justice.

             Bill Clinton receives pardon on January 21, 1977, from President Carter.

             Bill Clinton becomes the FIRST PARDONED FEDERAL FELON ever to
serve as President of the United States.

             All these facts come from Freedom of Information requests,
public laws, and various books that have been published, and have not been
refuted by Clinton.

             After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, President Clinton
promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

             After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S.
             military personnel, Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.

             After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which
killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel, Clinton promised that
those responsible would be hunted down and punished.

             After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which
killed 224 and injured 5,000, Clinton promised that those responsible would
be hunted down and punished.

             After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and
injured 39 U.S. sailors, Clinton promised that those responsible be hunted
down and punished.

             Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated 3,000
people in New York and Washington, DC. Who are now dead would be alive
today.

             THINK ABOUT IT! It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8
             Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12
Million for his memoir yet to be written. This is from two people who spent 8
years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath.

Geeeeeeeeeeeez. Finally, it took weeks but we finally got the answer, of course I thought she had given it a couple of times before, now I am more confused then ever! is this finally it? or is she going to "answer" again. Also that only took me 15 seconds to read, so why exactly couldn't she answer it in 30 secs.?

Hint: when Hillary says she will "..press for comprehensive reform.." its a pretty safe bet that nothing will happen. Out of all the candidates, Hillary has the most lobbyist backing and contributions. The corporations that are financing her campaign enjoy the benefits of illegal immigration ie, cheap labor, so don't get your hopes up. She'll do exactly what her husband did. Ignore the problem.

Rick from Chicago, these are a "few" of my favorite things:

2008 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has complained that some Republicans want to impose a "police state" to deal with illegal immigration, arguing instead that illegals should be allowed to earn their U.S. citizenship.

But just three short years ago, Mrs. Clinton took a different tact, boasting that she was "adamantly against" foreigners who enter the country illegally and saying that the U.S. should consider imposing a national ID card system.

"I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants," Clinton said in a Feb. 2003 radio interview.

Clinton said the U.S. "might have to move toward an ID system even for citizens" in order to combat illegal border crossings, or implement "at least a visa ID, some kind of an entry and exit ID."

• On October 10, 2002, Clinton spoke to the Senate in favor of a use-of-force resolution authorizing the invasion of Iraq, saying: "The facts that have brought us to this fateful vote are not in doubt.”

• On December 15, 2003, when it was clear there were no large stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Clinton’s support was unwavering. "I was one who supported giving President Bush the authority, if necessary, to use force,” she told the Council on Foreign Relations. "We have no option but to stay involved and committed.”

• On April 20, 2004, Clinton told CNN’s Larry King that she did not "regret giving the president the authority,” noting that Saddam Hussein "had been a real problem for the international community for more than a decade.”

• In October 2005, amid growing anti-war sentiment, Clinton still told the Village Voice: "I don’t believe it’s smart to set a date for withdrawal . . . I don’t think it’s the right time to withdraw.”

• By November 2005, Hillary was softening her stance, saying in a letter to constituents: "If Congress had been asked [to authorize the war], based on what we know now, we never would have agreed.”

• On December 18, 2006, Clinton went even further, saying on the "Today” show: "I certainly wouldn’t have voted that way.”

• On January 13 of this year, Clinton spoke from Baghdad about President Bush’s call for a troop surge: "I don’t know that the American people or the Congress at this point believe this mission can work.”

• Finally, on January 27, Clinton hit the campaign trail in Iowa and demanded that the president "extricate our country from this before he leaves office.”

But she recently said that you can't look that far ahead and 2013 was more accurate.

On torture:
"It cannot be American policy, period," Clinton (D-N.Y.) recently told debate moderator Tim Russert, who asked if there should be a presidential exemption to allow the torture of a terror chieftain if authorities knew a bomb was about to go off, but didn't know where it was.

But last October, Clinton told the Daily News: "If we're going to be preparing for the kind of improbable but possible eventuality, then it has to be done within the rule of law."

In the event we were ever confronted with having to interrogate a detainee with knowledge of an imminent threat to millions of Americans, then the decision to depart from standard international practices must be made by the President, and the President must be held accountable," she said.

I could go on but I don’t think CNN has enough disk space on their drives to support the amount of data that could be posted (especially if scandals were included in your request). That’s ok though, you will see all that is “Clinton” next year, the ads are being worked on as we speak.

Oh yeah Rick, the "heat" has been turned up alright and the "queen" is getting grilled.

Rick from Chicago: You're probably right, it may be difficult to catch Hilary in 11 flip-flops. The reason being if she's not taking both side of an issue, she's not coming down on either side.
So I guess technically flip-flopping is not what she's guilty of. How about wishy-washy, evasive, non-committal, two-faced, fork-tongued.. I could go on, but yup you got me; she's definitely not a flip-flopper.

Hope it makes your day.

And this is surprising, how? Hillary has a long record of flip-flopping, so it should be expected. Changing your mind on a stance is one thing, but changing direction like the wind is quite another.

I would think we'd want a person running for President who can change their mind. I have gone through 8 years of a President who will stay the course do matter how wrong it is. Is that a good thing? No it is not!!!

I think it is of good character to say I've changed my mind. Personally, as a human being, I've changed my mind around many issues as time goes by based on more experience and exposure to situations. It is a sign of maturity.

Hillary is a good person.

Clinton has been exposed so badly this could essential take her down in the general election if she makes it that far. So many of my collegues that are democrats are so upset with her from her performance in the last debate and showing how vulnerable she is on this issue that they are thinking of voting for Obama. Hillary if your people are reading this , you really screwed up and the Public has caught on to your game. You are not fooling anyone.

Bill, she never said that. First, she said that the governor's plan (giving licenses to illegals) "makes a lot of sense" and then when Spitzer abandoned it, she said that she "against giving licenses to illegals." If that isn't flip-flopping I don't know what is. Why are people so blindly supporting her?

I really don't like Bush, but I think that if Hillary is elected this country has a lot farther to fall than it already has. Hillary would be a disaster for this country. Please do not vote for her!

It absolutely not flip-flopping. It's a shame our candidates are stooping to these Republican attacks. Chris Dodd was losing to Stephen Colbert in a national poll, I think it's time he drops outs!

If you don't like Hillary, that's fine. But if you're a Democrat, don't smudge the facts to try and beat her.

Wait, what doesn't anyone understand? She said she supports a governor making a state decision on illegal immigration because the federal government will not fix the problem. But as president (which is different than a governor) she would not support such a plan at the federal level (federal and state being different also). Seems to make sense to me.

If your a Democrat and don't vote for Hillary if she wins the nomination, don't complain during the next four Republican years.

I'm not a fan of the woman, but she asnwered the question like the LAWYER she is... she like the idea of somebody doing something (the governor thinking about it and trying to do something) but will not compromise to the actual legislation, because she HAVE NOT read it.... Hillary - the Saran Wrap candidate.

Tough but toally transparent.

BTW CNN - deleting or 'moderating' my comment last night ( the same one I've just reposted) was inappropriate considering the kinds of screeds I've seen tossed at other candidates and the president in general.

Just another example of saying what people want to hear. Someone once called her a "wind sock"...sounds appropriate to me.

I recall Hillary recently blasting the current administration (no surprise there), but the issue was "outsourcing" and how Bush had shown a lack of leadership to stem the tide of outsourcing. Well, from the archives comes this:

Reference: Online Asia Times
           www.atimes.com

From Article Entitled: "HILLARY WOOS INDIA", dated March 1, 2005

"...Hillary Clinton made it apparent where she stood on outsourcing during her India visit, in an attempt perhaps to clear the Indian misgivings received during the Kerry campaign. "There is no way to legislate against reality. Outsourcing will continue," she told an audience of Indian big-wigs. She pointed out that there were 3 billion people who feel left behind and are trying to attack the modern world in the hope of turning the clock back on globalization. "It is not far-fetched to imagine ... if the Indian miracle would be the one of choice of those who feel left behind," said Hillary.

Hillary has been at the forefront in defending free trade and outsourcing. During the height of the anti-outsourcing backlash in the US last year, she faced considerable flak for defending Indian software giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for opening a center in Buffalo, New York. "We are not against all outsourcing; we are not in favor of putting up fences," Hillary said firmly, despite inevitably invoking the ire of the anti-free trade brigade."

SOUNDS LIKE A HYPROCRIT TO ME!!!!

Well, today, Clinton doesn't support giving drivers' licenses to "undocumented people." Yesterday, she did. What position will she take tomorrow?

I hope that everyone who is undecided is taking a good look at her vague comments and shifting stands on important issues. As for her die-hard supporters who won't be moved regardless of how many times she's moved, they are as obtuse as the die-hards on the other side of the aisle.

Shawnie - Grants Pass, OR,

"Flip-flopping cubed" is right!"

And this is coming from someone who is supporting WHO again ... ROMNEY? LOL!

Feel free to step up and list as many flip flops from Hillary as I have from Romney.

Got game? Here we go ...

A (probably only PARTIAL)list of Romney's flip flops:

1) He was a liberal in Massachusetts, where he TWICE ran for statewide office as a pro-CHOICE candidate but now says he opposes Roe v. Wade;

2) he was dedicated to "full equality for America's gay and lesbian citizens" and now describes himself as "a champion of traditional marriage";

3) he signed a no-new-tax pledge (that he once mocked) in an attempt to hide his tax-raising record;

4) in Massachusetts, he bucked the National Rifle Association by supporting the Brady Bill and an assault-weapons ban, boasting, "I don't line up with the NRA.", yet (in August of 2006) he bragged that he joined the gun-rights organization as a life member;

5) he was FOR gays serving open in the military before he was AGAINST it;

6) he endorsed federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research in 2005, but now claims he opposes it;

7) he may or may not be an avid hunter since he said "I purchased a gun when I was a young man. I've been a hunter pretty much all my life," he told a man sporting a National Rifle Association cap – even though he’s been on a total of TWO hunting trips in his 60 years!;

8) Romney said he doesn’t believe in overturning juries, yet he fully supported Dubya’s commuting of Scooter Libby’s sentence before a single day of jail time was ever served;

9) thinks that his sons driving around in SUVs to campaign for him is equal to, or better than, serving his country helping patrol the streets of Baghdad then said he doesn’t;

10) flip-flopped on amnesty for illegals when he criticized cities that offer sanctuary to illegals via a radio ad saying: "Immigration laws don't work if they're ignored. Legal immigration is great, but illegal immigration, that we've got to end. And amnesty is not the way to do it.". But this was AFTER he said he supported selective amnesty (to those who have ignored and BROKEN those same immigration laws by coming here and staying here ILLEGALLY) in the March 30, 2006 Lowell Sun, saying: “I don’t believe in rounding up 11 million people and forcing them at gunpoint from our country …Those that are here paying taxes and not taking government benefits should begin a process towards application for citizenship, as they would from their home country.”

Well Shawnie? I'm waiting ... for at least ELEVEN Hillary flip flops on her campaign!

Let me guess, like most repubs, you'll never actually put up when called out right?

Or will you duck my challenge entirely and reply with the usual "But .. but .. it ... WASN'T a ... flop flop!"

From past experience, I'd say the smart money is on you doing BOTH!

I'll be watching and waiting ...

Shawnie – Grants Pass, OR,

"Flip-flopping cubed" is right!"

And this is coming from someone who is supporting WHO again ... ROMNEY? LOL!

Feel free to step up and list as many flip flops from Hillary as I have from Romney.

Got game? Here we go ...

A (probably only PARTIAL)list of Romney's flip flops:

1) He was a liberal in Massachusetts, where he TWICE ran for statewide office as a pro-CHOICE candidate but now says he opposes Roe v. Wade;

2) he was dedicated to "full equality for America's gay and lesbian citizens" and now describes himself as "a champion of traditional marriage";

3) he signed a no-new-tax pledge (that he once mocked) in an attempt to hide his tax-raising record;

4) in Massachusetts, he bucked the National Rifle Association by supporting the Brady Bill and an assault-weapons ban, boasting, "I don't line up with the NRA.", yet (in August of 2006) he bragged that he joined the gun-rights organization as a life member;

5) he was FOR gays serving open in the military before he was AGAINST it;

6) he endorsed federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research in 2005, but now claims he opposes it;

7) he may or may not be an avid hunter since he said "I purchased a gun when I was a young man. I've been a hunter pretty much all my life," he told a man sporting a National Rifle Association cap – even though he’s been on a total of TWO hunting trips in his 60 years!;

  Romney said he doesn’t believe in overturning juries, yet he fully supported Dubya’s commuting of Scooter Libby’s sentence before a single day of jail time was ever served;

9) thinks that his sons driving around in SUVs to campaign for him is equal to, or better than, serving his country helping patrol the streets of Baghdad then said he doesn’t;

I changed my voter registration to independent,hoping someone with some real common sense and ideas that are good for America and not big business decides to run. Watch Hillary...everytime someone says something she wishes she had said she looks like a grinning bobblehead.I don't think the woman has an original idea..her handlers come up with some doozies.

Tough times for Clinton.
But I still believe she would make the better president. The illegal issue is very complex. That is why no one have been able to do anything about it.
I would still bet on her to solve the complex issues in a fair and just manner.

This is a message to CNN. Every comment I post on CNN Sticker stories displays on my computer preceded by the message “Your comment is awaiting moderation. Due to the volume of comments we receive, not all comments will be posted”. I know that my comment does not show on other users computers.

I know that the explanation “Due to the volume of comments” is a lie. The message shows whether mine is one of two or two hundred comments. I know that you have CUT ME OFF for some other reason.

I have never used profanity so it must be because you do not agree with the content of my comments and I assume it must be because I usually support Hillary Clinton. It may be because I have sometimes shown that your story clearly contains some error and that you do not want your other readers to become aware of your mistakes.

It is sad to see CNN opposing free speech, engaging in censorship and knowingly making a false statement.

This is one of those instances where it's best to take the "flip-flop" flack rather than maintain an ambiguous or pro-license position. Frankly, ALL of the Democrats need to jump off of the license train as soon as possible. This is a hot-button issue for many people -- across all party lines.

Frankly, the simpliest illegal immigration solution is to: 1) actually abide by the laws as they are already written (especially with reference to employers), and 2) strengthen the border. As far as the 12 million illegal aliens in the U.S., here's what you do....nothing.

Are Edwards and Obama ignorant or desperate? Perhaps both?

It wasn't that hard to understand her position the first time she said it, if you still don't, read the last paragraph in this article. She has said that since the beginning.

Ignorance or desperation, what fitting choices for the 2 non-frontrunners.

Changing her mind and spinning it around, swindling all of you and making you think she knows what she's doing is all Hillary's ever really done. Campaigning and cheating in investments, hiding records, firing innocent employees, this woman is full of much worse than flip flopping. I for one hope she gets the nomination, she's the most beatable of all the Democratic hopefuls. I'm an Independent and see right through Hillary; she's going to try to ride the coattails of her husband into the White House and then he's going to make it look as though she's got the leadership. Yeah, right. Suppose the 21 yr old male interns should be watching out for themselves?

At the debate Hillary said the she UNDERSTOOD why Spitzer wanted to have special DLs for Aliens BUT, I repeat BUT, she said that she could NOT endorse or approve of the proposal as it was contrary to Federal law. She said that the subject should be first considered within comprehensive immigration reform.
Her position has not changed. She STILL understands why Spitzer proposed these licenses. She is STILL against issuing them because they conflict with Federal law.

Since Rudy and Mitt can 'flip-flop'. Hillary thinks that it has not hurt their campaign, so she might as well do it too. It looks like the American voter either doesn't care, or can't tell the difference between a 'flip-flop' and an honest position on a real issue. Boy, America is in real trouble.

Sorry, but all this flip-flopping destroys her credibility. How can anyone believe anything she says if she's always "changing her mind". Face it, she's just not credible. She lacks consistency and therefore cannot be trusted.

Hillary is so shady. The reason Clinton avoids answering questions is because her TRUE views are so unappealing and even frightening to the public. She wants bigger government, socialized everything, open borders and amnesty for illegals. Don't let her fool you, just look at her past.....oh yeah, her records are off limits until 2012. Don't you think that's a little suspicious?

"Oh my God a politician that changed their position on an issue. What a shocker. What will we do? So what, Mrs. Clinton continues to prove that she can run with the big dogs."

--------------------

Sure, a politician is entitled to change positions, but the obvious lack of conviction on her part is what's apparent here. She says whatever it takes...and THAT is unacceptable. She is NO LEADER...and THAT's the ONLY thing she proved.

"I was for the war before I was against it."

With a few changes to that quote, I could almost hear Sen. Clinton saying that. Haven't the Democrats learned anything from John Kerry's run?

I don't hate Hillary. I just want her to take a side on an issue right or wrong and stick to it. The next president will have to make unpopular choices about leading the country. I just don't believe being the first lady for 8 years and being a senator from a state that your not really from is having enough experience to lead the most powerful nation in the world.

Oh please, a 10 second answer to debate question thats part of a complex problem catching her off-guard shouldn't be portrayed as the end of the rope.

If there's anyone that flip-flopped, its the Bush administration that campaigned on non-intervention, energy security and tax reform and is now ending with a plop.

I am absolutely stunned that anyone would vote for Hillary. She represents everything that is bad with the government and is little different from Bush.

Truly, this countries voters are politically stupid

Changing ones mined due to circumstances being called "flip flop" is ridiculous. We were wrong about Iraq so our President refuses to "Flip flop" because he'll be called a "Flip flopper". Americans are smarter than this. Aren't we?
