'Mike Huckabee is Chuck Norris approved'

Chuck Norris is seeking campaign cash for Mike Huckabee.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Fresh off endorsing Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee last month, actor Chuck Norris has penned a fundraising e-mail Tuesday on behalf of the Arkansas Republican, and he's making several demands.

"The first thing I need you to do today is make a contribution in support of Mike Huckabee's campaign," the "Walker Texas Ranger" star writes in the e-mail carrying the subject “Mike Huckabee is Chuck Norris approved”.

"The second thing I need you to do today is ask at least one friend to make a contribution to Mike's campaign," Norris continues. "The third and final thing I need you to do today is to tell your friends and family members that aren't able to contribute at this time to Mike's campaign to at least sign up for his email updates."

Norris endorsed Huckabee late last month, declaring in his online column, "I believe the only one who has all of the characteristics to lead America forward into the future is ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee."

Huckabee registered 10 percent in the latest national CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll of registered Republicans. But the former Arkansas governor is doing considerably better in the early-voting state of Iowa. The latest American Research Group poll of likely Iowa GOP caucus-goers places him in second place with 19 percent - trailing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by 8 percentage points.

I can see how the libs here would jump so quickly on this to negatively comment on the endorsement of any Republican candidate. After all, when the democratic contenders are endorsed by our enemies, IE: terrorists and their state sponsors, you really have to try to dig out of the hole somehow.

I totally agree with Church Noris in his decision to support Mike Huckabee. Mr. Huckabee presents himself with confidence amd integrity and is clear in his answers to any question presented to him without hesitation. Not like the Democratic candidates running for the office of President, who really have not answered questions especially with regards to immigration situation, with their solution. Republican candidates have been drilled by MEDIA reps over and over. Why not drill the Democrats as well? HUH???

"...and why isn't he getting the same scrutiny the neocons would have given anyone supporting a Democrat?"

    ****

Perhaps because it hasn't turned into the Clinton lovefest orgy we all witnessed in Hollywood several years ago?

I agree with a much earlier post. If Chuck Norris finds and kills Osama Bin Laden with his bare hands, then I will vote for the candidate of his choosing.

Actually – considering all the hate-posts we read day after day about Bush/Clinton .... reading these comments about Chuck are a comical break.

    Gorbashov – hillarious stuff.

er... I mean "uplifting" Mr Norris.. wasn't laughing AT you, nor was I laughing in your direction. It was more a chuckle...a slight cough even.

That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
    Thomas Jefferson

Mike Huckabee is for smaller goverment, the Fair Tax Plan (end of the IRS), Education,Sanctity of Life, and my 2nd Amendment rights.

Let get rid of the Power Mongers and return the goverment to the people, for the people and by the people.

Chuck Norris is a very radical, right-wing religious fundamenatlist...which means he has a lot in common with Osama bin Laden other than the beard.

People who personally know Norris or have worked with him have said when he became a "born-again" Christian, he became very judgemental, self-righteous and hateful. Over the past few years, Norris has made some extremely hateful comments, including the idea of using violence towards homosexuals, illegal immigrants, Muslims and basically anyone who refuses to be brainwashed by the Christian Right.

Norris is a hero in his own mind.

This endorsement will be as helpful as Rudy G. getting the support of Pat Robertson.

God originally picked Chuck, but he was busy giving nun-chuck lessons. "Let Jesus do it" was his suggestion.

    Nun-chucks wait for him.

Does Huckabee approve of Norris? I don't think Huckabee is a subversive anti-government theocrat. This sounds more like a smear campaign against Huckabee. CNN please ask him. Does Huckabee endorse our secular democracy or not? These Norris stories have both been one-sided. Anti-american.

We never drive into it. We are always pulled into it. That is the nature of living together. War happens, deal with it or hide in a cave.
