South Carolina Thursday news roundup

COLUMBIA, South Carolina - Here's a quick look at what's making news in South Carolina today:

John Edwards' new ad should be running on a television near you.

Janet Huckabee talked about many things during a First Ladies tea party at the governor's mansion on Wednesday - her husband's chances in Iowa, her faith, her accomplishments in Arkansas. Oh yeah, and her experience firing a grenade launcher.

The State looks at three qualified Democrats: Chris Dodd, Joe Biden and Bill Richardson. But has all the oxygen been sucked out of the room in South Carolina?

The L.A. Times wonders if evangelicals will head to the polls this election.

And tune into CNN tonight for the Democratic debate, live from Las Vegas.
