Why are you and the other mainstream media only focusing on hillary and obama and sometimes edwards...aren't there more democratic candidates still running???

This Republican wants:

The troops home asap, if the Iraqi government doesn't start doing enough to help their own people help themselves, why should we.

More investment in charter schools and vouchers as these FRESH IDEAS are kicking the tail of the "establishment and hack ridden school process".

Alternative forms of energy including nuclear, wind farms, fossil fuels and ethanol, maybe even corn.

Abortion only in case of rape, incest and the mothers life being in danger.

One set of gun laws that EVERYONE in the country abides by, including gun shows and auction sites.

The continuation of the Patriot act, as pre 9-11 mindsets are dangerous to the country, all of us. Now if they use these rights to look at political figures or if it is not used for what it's intention is, they should be impeached.

I want illegal immigration taken care of, step one can not be the wall, but enforce the laws AGAINST the companies that HIRE them and also if these ILLEGALS are caught doing anything wrong no matter how trivial they are automatically deported with NO hope of ever gaining citizensship.

NO LICENSES, NO TUITION BREAKS EVER for illegals.

We can the worry about the wall as step two and figure out what to REALLY do to make this work.

By doing step one, we can REMOVE a lot of people who are here illegally if there is no work. It's a start.

Keep the across the board tax cuts for everyone WHO ACTUALLY PAYS taxes.

Raise the threshold of Social security taken out of a check passed the first $97,000 and make it more like $107,000 and that will buy us some valuable time and resources.

Stem cell research should be expanded, not caught up in some faith based political quagmire. With the expansion, I also believe that the "industry" should be watched as we don't want someone getting creative and trying to create clones etc, etc.

Just a few things this Republican wants to happen.

Most importantly, I DON'T want President HILLARY CLINTON to happen.

She alone will cause the country to become further divided, and we as a PEOPLE can not let that happen.

The "disconnect" is a major concern. It should be a concern. What they are finding is that Ron Paul and Huckabee are more popular than they thought (or want). Rather than the RNCs hand picked candidates, Paul and Huckabee are taking the votes away from Rudy, Mitt, and Johnny. It is my hope that people elect a revolutionary candidate in these dark times. Those who profess "executive" and "militarily strong" leadership are fools and are only in a vicious cycle of misunderstanding. We have all seen what executive and military leadership has done. It has done nothing but divide us and enrage the world. We need 21st century forefathers, someone who will rally the citizens and take back the establishments.

As Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz might have quipped, Republicans just want loose ethics rules, tight relations with lobbyists, and a warm place to vacation.

personally i dont see a canadidate worth my vote, im 32 and i have a better at-home plan then they do. like for instance...a minimum 100 dollar fine to mexico's government for every illegit mexican found in the US,2. "spoils of war" make other countries pay the US for fixing THEIR problems (let them foot the bill) 3. removal and jailtime for the ceo of each drug company that cant find a cure for aids in 4 years(no severance). 4. the removal and jailtime for each ceo of every US car company that fails to get every car on sales lot replaced with clean fossil fuel free cars by 3 years time.... shall i go on?

What Republicans want is to win in 2008. And what they need to realize is that there is only one GOP contender who can beat the Democrats in 2008. Only one.

Obviously, they want to remain in power and to continue what they started back in 2001. The only way to make this happen is to give up our principles and to vote for Rudy or Romney. Those who do not support the platform from its core. I mean pro-choice and civil unions? What happened to Reagan's party? I didn't leave the Republican Party, the Republican Party "left" me (by going Left).

We will nominate a person who does not line up with our "values" but our pocketbooks and foreign policies. That will be our undoing...

4)IF CLINTON does win, WHO cares, She will keep the same Bush policy, She takes in the same money from the same corpates that profits from the Iraq Iran war.
5)IF CLINTON wins history will repeat it self. The Clintont with there spining, Lying, smokescreen that outraged the country during the last Clinton will happen agin. The republicans will get control of congress after 2 years of CLINTON BULL SH**.

One thing I for sure do NOT want is analysis about Republican candidates filtered through Schneider's liberal bias. That's a real disconnect!
