Obama: I won't tolerate 'slime politics'

Watch Sen. Obama explain his response to a report by a conservative columnist over the weekend.

(CNN) - Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, explained his swift response to a report by conservative columnist Robert Novak that the Clinton campaign had “scandalous” information about him.

“I think it is very important to send a clear message that whether it is coming from our party, the other party, third parties, 527’s, that our campaign will not tolerate this kind of slime politics,” Obama said Sunday at a campaign appearance in Iowa.

“In the era of the blogosphere, we have seen what happened with John McCain in 2000, we’re seen what happened with John Kerry in 2004, if you don’t get on this stuff quick, it starts drifting around,” he said.

Robert Novak has no authority to talk about slime, he just has to look in the mirror.
He is a Traitor not to mention a slime ball, If you have any doubght just ask Joe Wilson's wife, or just about anybody that works for the CIA.

In a new ABCNews poll, Obama is now ahead in Iowa . Why isn't that on the Ticker, CNN? Perhaps you should help Hil think up another false, unsubstantiated rumor about Barack to try and stifle this momentum

Obama should be applauded for the way he is handling this Clinton/Novak Mess. Obama came out TRUTHFULLY, FORCEFULLY and QUICKLY responding to it. Just like we Americans want our leader to do. Whether it be in response to crap or from some other event like a Terrorist incident or ANY sort of attack on our Countries dignity, or security.

Let that be a lesson to ALL who would doubt Obama resolve. I think an old School saying is appropriate right about now.
It goes “YOU don’t Know?...Well you better to go ask SOMBODY!”
It means, ( So, You have not heard that Obama does not take crap? Perhaps you should go enquire from the folks that know this already.)

Oh, I'm scared! In what delusion does Obama think he has control? Slime is wrong, so maybe he should take a look at his own tactics before he throws another tantrum

    So green.

    Dear Mr.Obama,
Please tell me you are not taking
    advice from Karl Rove,well,I guess
you can not resist the temptation,
since it is all there in the media.

Well, this guy likes to remind everybody he has principles. I just wonder if this was the first rumor about Obama in this campaign? why does he take this story 'so seriously' immediately after the Las Vegas debate? This is clearly a distraction, so to engage in this dialogue is very immature.

Obama, this is brilliant. It is about time that someone is "nipping it in the bud" as Obama cleverly calls it. Obama gains points two fold. First in defending his reputation and appearing very presidential and strong from the crap that the Hillary camp is [not] spreading. And second, by doing what Obama is setting out to do and change the way politics has been dirtily handled in this ountry for the last decade or more. Way to come out on top of this.

    Go Obama '08!

Why is he making a huge deal out of a rumor of a rumor?

Obama doesn't know what he's doing.

We should have 'smile politics' not 'slime politics' in this country. What don't we have to be so negative about each other. Absolutetly should not be a way of getting elected.

I think if Senator Obama was not in this race, we could as divided in this election circle just like we were during Bush administration. Even healing process would not have started. I think it is good that we have these kind of people such that no matter what we can have a good political process.

FYI, if there was 'slime politics' from the beggining then we would not even hear some politicians who are in the race who have very good ideas and have worked so hard the entire life as politicians.
We want more of Barack Obama

Democrats are screwed up. They are like kids, no professional culture. Obama tries to rip fellow candidate based on a story by a republican sum-bag Novak and mandates and demands an immediate response form Hillary. Why it should be Novak- Hillary coordinated scam? It could be well concocted Obama-Novak scam.!
Obama, you are just a kid, just two years of senate got you into your head that you are superior You got to grow up, my man. First thing, never ever trust and base anything based on Novak cooked up scams. It is not worth even attacking your deadliest enemy. Fellow candidates are your not enemies. You are dividing this country man.. Soon after you got nominated, your middle name will be your first name. This what Danny Cavy- the comedian burped on a comedy talk show. It is true. Republicans are going to chew you.

I thought you are nice, but now when you are sucked into Novak’s scam , man your are so dumb. For sure you will be great in 2013.

Ron Paul. Your are the guy with new ideas. I will vote for you.

You might think it important to "get on this stuff quick", but I think it would serve you better to be correct as to where to place the blame. Leave that to wifey-poo...she's better suited for that roll.

I am sorry to say your Opponent is the plethora of Slime

    Your dealing with

    A master of Lyies
    A master of Spin
    A master of couruption
A master of smoke and mirrors
    A master of Corpate Pawn
    A master of Warmongering
YES to Iraq war, Yes to Iran war, Yes to Bush cowboy diplomacy
    A master of White Water
    A master of failed familes

Be preparred when the EVIL Clinton machine goes full Evil on your Butt.

Just make sure the Democrats that are under blind faith spell of Clinton wake up.

Ask them to explain her warmongering voting record.
Ask them to explain her Corpate pay offs. The ones that are war profiteering from the war.
Ask them to explain why China a COMMUNIST country is paying her Bribes.
Ask them why she cant put out a solid stand with fact. All I hear or read is nothing but feel good statements why Clinton should be president.
Ask them to explain all the CRIMINALS they pardon in the WHITEHOUSE
Ask her to remind us her 8 years of failed WhiteHouse politics. Why the Clintons where a stepping stone from Impeachment.

Convince the Democrats to pick any other canidate but a Clinton. Clinton is a pawn for the republicans to win the WhiteHouse.

She can get the hard left to vote for her but the mild republican and mild democrats and swing voters will be POLARIZED to vote republican if she is nominated.
