COLUMBIA, South Carolina (CNN) - Here's a quick look at what's making political news in South Carolina this Monday morning:
Where are all the candidates? Most of them will focus on Iowa this holiday week. Michelle Obama will campaign in Orangeburg and Columbia on Tuesday, while Mike Huckabee will hold a tailgate at the Clemson vs. South Carolina game on Saturday.
In Charleston, Ron Paul supporters operate out of "a former lube and oil shop."
Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee went at each other on different Sunday shows yesterday.
Also, in case you missed it, Huckabee is "Chuck Norris approved."
The body of former South Carolina governor Robert McNair, who died over the weekend, will lie in repose at Firt Baptist Church in Columbia today.
South Carolina is one of the top five hungriest states in the country.
