Alot of these guys are from the south and usually southerners are more conservative but not always though. But, you have very liberal or independent politic wrestlers such as Mick Foley and the Rock considers himself independent (yes, I"m aware the Rock is retired) but has stated he's independent.

The WWE has mentioned that they want the youth to vote. But case in point, mocking pro wrestling is just as narrowminded as the conservatives that us liberals like to make fun of.

Flair is a buisness man and and actor. Not a dumb wrestler. You should read his book. Yes he wrote a book. Have you?

Ted Nugent- Loves hunting and likes a simple life. so what.
I to love camo,guns,trucks,beer, I also lace up work boots every day and goto work and I am a proud Navy vet from 1988-1992 era. Gun rights are just that, rights.

Chuck- Just check out what he does for Kids in his real life. This is only a small part of how he gives back.

While it is true that most republicans immediately jump against anything "democrat", the intelligent people know that many of the policies currently supported by your party leaders simply do not work. Socialized health care is not perfect. Socialism is not perfect, and communism has never worked. I have friends from Cuba and Canada, and both agree with this. Michael Moore's movie on health care is incorrect. In Canada, you may have to wait months for a single operation.

Also, raising taxes would destroy our currently weak economy. In Florida, and other southeastern coastal states, property taxes from the aftermath of two brutal hurricane seasons has forced many to foreclose on their homes. There are many other negative effects of raising taxes, and if you have studied economics, then you will know what they are.

To biased republicans:

While it is true that most democrats immediately jump against anything "republican", not all decisions from the republican party have been effective. George W Bush has tried to do the best with the situation he was given, and made mistakes that could only be seen with hindsight. As it stands, due to the current situation, most republican (and democrat) candidates do not have enough backbone to stick with a position.

Also, the immediate branding of people with differing viewpoints as "unpatriotic" or "anti-american" is ridiculous. With the exception of several truly anti-american individuals, most are simply stating their opinion, which must be valued just as much as your own.

George Washington, our first and perhaps greatest president, said that we should not focus too much on individual parties, but that we should focus on striving to improve our nation. We all need to look past party memberships and listen to what people have to say.

If you're serious about ending the conflict in Iraq, then you may want to consider Huckabee and his impressive ass-kicking machine.

Huck may have the Nature Boy, but Hillary Clinton has the endorsement of that great slashing running back- O.J. Simpson!!

I'm glad to see people ike Ric Flair, Ted Nugent and Chuck Norris jump into the political process. The real idoits are not these, but the folks who site back and think it doesn't matter. At least they are engaged in the process and may bring new voters into the fold. Of course, that's what some of you fear, because you see yourselves as "better than" and want to be self-appointed intelligencia and aristocracy. Get over it! This IS a democracy!

And, as an aside to Terry, Al Gore did not win the 2000 election; we have this thing called the Electoral College in America. By winning in the Electoral College, you become President; not by winning the popular vote.

I am voting for Huckabee but not because of who or who doesn't endorse him.

Any voter that that would vote for the President of the United States because a "celebrity" endorses them should be removed from the polls. Any news organization that reports who celebrities endorse should be banned from distributing news.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no right to vote in this country. Voting is a privilege, very much like obtaining a drivers license. If you have to rely on what celebrities think to help pick the President then you should be forbidden to vote.

you truely aren't THINKING with that statement. Wrestling draws a varierty of different audiences, many far from die-hard christians and republicans. You'd be surprised to find, there are plenty on both sides of the spectrum...no need to bash those who watch something fake (That is after all 90% of TV, Movies...and Politicians in general)

I don't know about that. I'm a scientist that likes professional wrestling, Walker Texas Ranger, and Rick(sic) Nugent. And I like Mike Huckabee.
