The wife stealing, limousine driving, jet flying son of a gun! Ric Flair wooooo. Ok, enough already! Who is next to support "The Huckster?" George Costanza? FYI: Ric Flair admitted to the use of steroids and his wife divorced him. Great endorsement! I hear that Charles Manson is also looking for somebody to endorse. C'mon Mike, add Charles to your repertoire of degenerates!

Y'know, it's ironic the people that are talking about "ignorant wrestlers" seem kind of ignorant about the "biz". I'm not suprised that alot of wrestlers are voting towards the republican side/conservative side.

Alot of these guys are from the south and usually southerners are more conservative but not always though. But, you have very liberal or independent politic wrestlers such as Mick Foley and the Rock considers himself independent (yes, I"m aware the Rock is retired) but has stated he's independent.

The WWE has mentioned that they want the youth to vote. But case in point, mocking pro wrestling is just as narrowminded as the conservatives that us liberals like to make fun of.

If you dont like wrstling or its superstars thats fine. But dont put down something you totally dont watch or understand d***ass.

Jessie ventura was a wreslter...... think about it.

Flair is a buisness man and and actor. Not a dumb wrestler. You should read his book. Yes he wrote a book. Have you?

Ted Nugent- Loves hunting and likes a simple life. so what.
I to love camo, guns, trucks, beer, I also lace up work boots every day and goto work and I am a proud Navy vet from 1988-1992 era. Gun rights are just that, rights.

Chuck- Just check out what he does for Kids in his real life. This is only a small part of how he gives back.

'Republicans tend to be followers anyway'. anti-modern,anti-science. no they tend to pass a more discerning eye and value experience and pragmatism over dogma and fadism(political corectness and the political party who embraces it anyone?). it wasn't the republicans who initiated the hubristic great society programme,or who adopted the chauvenistic top down bellicose management style as emphasised by such trademark liberal(contradictory euphemism if ever there was one)initatives as roe vs wade. the perfect example is the idea that crime is caused by poverty, something we know and have proved to be false and simplistic. but whose supporters still spout this cant. contrast the republican candidates giulianni, mccain, romney, huckabee with the democratic front runners and one is presented with unique often utterly contradictionary personnallities and political ideals. the charismatic yet unconventional giulianni, the suave yet inconsistant romney to maverick mccain(someone who has demonstated his willingness to follow his own ideals). the democrats offer us the same pompous patronising platitudes. all obama offers is freshness but they are all essentially the same person.

I love this message board...proof positive that CNN, and everything associated with it is left wing, democratic controlled propaganda. Nothing but attacks on Republicans, gun owners, individuals...I applaud you for providing me with further evidence of how lemming-like the democratic left is, and how filled with hate they are. And CNN is their low-ratings mouthpiece.

Ric Flair is a good man and wretler, he is a professional who has been in his career field for many decades. Most liberals don't care for this stuff much because they are to busy trying to make you afraid of it and then blame it on someone else and then tell you they will solve it. Democrats are a waste of O2.

To biased democrats:

While it is true that most republicans immediately jump against anything "democrat", the intelligent people know that many of the policies currently supported by your party leaders simply do not work. Socialized health care is not perfect. Socialism is not perfect, and communism has never worked. I have friends from Cuba and Canada, and both agree with this. Michael Moore's movie on health care is incorrect. In Canada, you may have to wait months for a single operation.

Also, raising taxes would destroy our currently weak economy. In Florida, and other southeastern coastal states, property taxes from the aftermath of two brutal hurricane seasons has forced many to foreclose on their homes. There are many other negative effects of raising taxes, and if you have studied economics, then you will know what they are.

To biased republicans:

While it is true that most democrats immediately jump against anything "republican", not all decisions from the republican party have been effective. George W Bush has tried to do the best with the situation he was given, and made mistakes that could only be seen with hindsight. As it stands, due to the current situation, most republican (and democrat) candidates do not have enough backbone to stick with a position.

Also, the immediate branding of people with differing viewpoints as "unpatriotic" or "anti-american" is ridiculous. With the exception of several truly anti-american individuals, most are simply stating their opinion, which must be valued just as much as your own.

To all:

George Washington, our first and perhaps greatest president, said that we should not focus too much on individual parties, but that we should focus on striving to improve our nation. We all need to look past party memberships and listen to what people have to say.

Well I haven't heard much about Huckabee but I do know where Ted Nugent stands and his no nonsense political views. So I say Huckabee for President and Ted Nugent for V.P. If you don't know much about Ted Nugent, go to You Tube and listen to some of his interviews, especially with Texas Monthly. This guy may seem a little rough but come on, we have become a nation of bleeding hearts and let our people get murdered by thugs and then want to protect them in the justice system. That is wrong.........Go Ted!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I am amazed how quick some people will accept the ramblings of some hollywood type individual then discount another performer and their political ideas. If you are a liberal then do what you guys "preach" be tolerant of all ideas that are put out there, you have a right to disagree but how harsh. Churk Noriss is a dedicated Christian man, even if you don't like his work respect his perspective. Also in the same way unless you know the real Ric Flair why slam him for just being a pro-wrestler, after all a former pro-wrestler did win the higest office in Minnesota and from some friends I have there he did a pretty good job. I am a conservative baptist minister myself and have my own views about a lot of things, I work with another minister who is supporting H. Clinton for the office of President we disagree big time about that issue but respect one anothers viewpoints. Don't be so rude to discreated someones views just because of their profession, if you check into a lot of pro-wrestling backgrounds you will find that a lot of these guys are college educated. Even though we don't all agree on the issues lets unite in the fact that everyone has a right to their opinion and that right has been faught for by a lot of men and women (not all of which had the same political ideas) but united for our country. Be patriots and listen to others viewpiont and treat others with respect no matter what post they have in life. And as another pro-wrestler would say who is a New York times best selling author would say. Have a nice day!

Ric Flair can't help that he is custom made. I would recommend everyone watch his "custom made" video on youtube. Huckabee isn't going anywhere, but the Ric Flair endorsement is funny.

Huckabee's the only guy who has both Chuck Norris and Ric Flair in his corner. One plane, two parachutes, and three days later and those two guys would clean Iraq up.

If you're serious about ending the conflict in Iraq, then you may want to consider Huckabee and his impressive ass-kicking machine.

I read about as much of the negative stuff as I can stand without saying something. People, listen to yourselves! You sound like a bunch of arogant, self-absorbed, "I'm smarter and better than you" snobs.

I'm glad to see people ike Ric Flair, Ted Nugent and Chuck Norris jump into the political process. The real idoits are not these, but the folks who site back and think it doesn't matter. At least they are engaged in the process and may bring new voters into the fold. Of course, that's what some of you fear, because you see yourselves as "better than" and want to be self-appointed intelligencia and aristocracy. Get over it! This IS a democracy!

Ric Flair returns to the WWE on Monday night. If you think that a Ric Flair endorsement doesn't mean anything, take a look next week at the ratings USA network does during this segment. It will blow away anything on cable TV, not just on that night at that time, but anything aired all week. Ric Flair moves the ratings needle, not just with "white-trash rasslin fans", but on a national level. It's a good thing for Huckabee.

And, as an aside to Terry, Al Gore did not win the 2000 election; we have this thing called the Electoral College in America. By winning in the Electoral College, you become President; not by winning the popular vote.

I compare this to Ben Affleck's endorsement of Obama. WHO CARES!!

I am voting for Huckabee but not because of who or who doesn't endorse him.

Any voter that that would vote for the President of the United States because a "celebrity" endorses them should be removed from the polls. Any news organization that reports who celebrities endorse should be banned from distributing news.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no right to vote in this country. Voting is a privilege, very much like obtaining a drivers license. If you have to rely on what celebrities think to help pick the President then you should be forbidden to vote.

Lee, Mays Landing NJ....

you truely aren't THINKING with that statement. Wrestling draws a varierty of different audiences, many far from die-hard christians and republicans. You'd be surprised to find, there are plenty on both sides of the spectrum...no need to bash those who watch something fake (That is after all 90% of TV, Movies...and Politicians in general)

Mike Hucklebee will be a very good president. I fell sorry that people seem to think that supporting the Constitution, and the reconizing the right to bear arms is a G-d given right. Ric Flair though based on what I have known of him isn't the best endorsement.
Three ex-wives, bar fights and DWI's are not the kind of guy I'd be bragging about on my band wangon. I have never been a saint, but Flair is only in the ring to pay for alimony, and cover his bar tab.
I support either Hucklebee or Duncan Hunter who in my books are real conservatives. The Marxists who are running for the Democratic nominaition are in my book unexceptable and pander to the lowest minds in our country. Progressives, or for the'common good,' are out of The Communist Manesfesto.
Governor Hucklebee should rethink his choices of endorsements. Even though Hillary Clinton's, Obama, and other Democrats have serious questionable fund raising to say the least. Ric Flair may be good in the ring, but his private life is clouded by not so good behaviors.

"The fans of "rasslin", Chuck Norris type garbage on TV and gun-nut Rick Nugent are natural constituents to an anti-science, anti-modern backwoods Arkansas minister/ republican candidate."

I don't know about that. I'm a scientist that likes professional wrestling, Walker Texas Ranger, and Rick(sic) Nugent. And I like Mike Huckabee.

Chuck Norris, Ted Nugent, and Rick Flair are for the common people. All the people making flippant remarks just don't get what's going on in America. I think Huckabee is going to go all the way.

I'm reading these comments and all I can say is, wow: there are a whole lot of left-wing bigots out there.

And I'm saying this as someone who dreads the thought of Mother Huckabee becoming the nominee.
