No you are not wrong. The interest in the republican contenders is so lacking that CNN and YouTube are to add some spice to the republican debate.
The republican candidates are all from the same old dull mode, except for Ron Paul who I would not vote for either, their answers differ only in its severity. Foreign Policy: Off with their heads. Economic Policy: Big Tax Cuts for Business and the wealthy, wee, wee tax cuts for the rest of us.
Immigration: Talk big now but like all their other previous promises do nothing. Energy: Drill, Drill, Drill and Drill some more. And as a last resort pick a war with an oil rich country and invade so we can have more oil. Constitution: Pay lip service but shred, shred, shred. Till there comes a day that from the waking up in the morning to lying down at night somewhere you are on tape.

Isn't showing highlights kind of unfair? I thought they were supposed to go into debates without prior knowledge of and preparation for the questions. I don't recall them doing this for the Democratic debate, though I could be wrong.
