The dem national party should let the candidates to campaign in florida, because it is an important swing state. This levels the playing field against the GOP candidates.

This article is quite funny. Its no wonder Florida voted Republican in the important election that put Bush into office. And it'd be suprising if the Republicans carry Florida again. By boycotting Florida, they must realize that they are giving Republicans a golden opportunity to connect to the people without interference.

More evidence the Democrats don't even want to win. They seem to be afraid to lose the title of the party of sideline complainers. Gore threw up his hands when he won 2000, Dean threw up his hands when the press owned by GOP billionaires mocked him for an event they concocted in a sound edit. Pelosi won't investigate towards impeachment. Why would we vote for these people except for that the GOP is so patently evil ?

By the time Governor Jeb Bush and the rest of the Republican legislature get "the fix" in - as they have in the last two general elections - it really won't matter whether the Democrats show up or not.

Well Hillary was campaigning for the first few weeks after the candidates signed the DNC pledge. Took a play out of Bill's book about legalese. I didn't think it was illegal intil "after" Florida was out of compliance. I'm soooo fed up with their politics. I'm sure Bill has spent a lot of time down just volunteering his time to talk to the good people of Florida...

I am a Democrat until now but I am planning to go independent and I plan to even vote for a GOP candidate depending on who it is (if is Rudy NO WAY) ... I am not the only one down in Florida feeling this way. WE WANT ALL OUR VOTES TO COUNT!!!!

I was upset with what’s going on and called the HILLARY CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS and the Democratic Party headquarters in DC trying to explain how frustrating this was and BOTH dismissed it.

I wish someone explained to me why…is there something I missed. All we trying to do in Florida is to be part is selecting the leader of the free world. It seems undemocratic that in 2008 that only New Hampshire or Iowa have to be first. I think maybe divide the country in 4 sections and rotate every 4 years will be fare.

It’s so last century when our country had different needs… for GOD’s sake it’s a new age. We need desperately an over-haul of the way we select the President of the USA. The whole college is an antiquated system that met the needs of the times (last century).

You have been reporting on the fact that the Florida Democratic Party has set the primary for Jan. 29, when it was not supposed to happen until after February according to the DNC.

Why don't you help folks make a proper decision in this very important election? How about allowing more airtime for the non-front running candidates like Biden and Paul?

Thanks to our GOP controlled State House...and the DNC...we don't get to participate in the political process I guess. Really angers me. I was an Independent..but when I moved to Florida I couldn't vote in any primaries. So I changed to Democrat–and I still am disenfranchised by a Republican controlled houses actions and the actions of the DNC. Thanks guys.

Why bother campaigning when the
(s)election has already taken place? Jeb and the Clintons already struck their deals decades ago, back when the Bushes and Clintons ran a little drugs for arms operation together called Iran/Contra.
