WASHINGTON (CNN) - Cult hero and avid Mike Huckabee supporter Chuck Norris watched the CNN/YouTube debate from a front-row seat Wednesday night at the Mahaffey Theater at Progress Energy Center for the Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Norris, the star of "Walker, Texas Ranger," released a television ad supporting the former Arkansas governor for president last week.

Chuck Norris would have joined the debate but was not allowed due to the fact that every question he would have been asked would have resulted in roundhouse kicks to the face.

Mike Huckabee is okay except for the fact that he would hand over my tax dollars to a line of illegals in order to pay their way to college while my five American born children get to do it the good ol' fashioned American way! Hell yes, we want someone with a sense of humor in the oval office!! Huckabee is awesome and there won't be all the er, uh, well crap we have to listen to with Bush, you ask Huckabee a question – he answers it and a lot of time it's with a lot of humor.

Andrew in Iowa City, look into Huckabee's Fair Tax. Very revolutionary. Taxes everybody the same (include those who don't pay taxes ie: Drug dealers, illegal immigrants, etc) as it is a tax on goods rather than a tax on income. It could cut some of the bureaucratic b.s. in Washington and cut down on the stress of the average American. There is also minimal exemptions for low income families, so really....is it that bad of an idea?
Governor Huckabee spoke well, had poise and was in control at all time and seemed very presidential. Yes – he had humor at the right times. I was very impressed. As far as clowns being in the White House: we already had one in Clinton. He shamed the White House and the Presidency.

Huckabee is not a clown...go to his site and read about The Fair Tax plan and maybe getting rid of the IRS won't sound so bad. Chuck has good reasons for supporting this man, I suggest you gather some facts before you cast judgement, I know he would do that much for you!
I am not sure if Mr. Johnson actually watched the debate. If he had, then he would realize that Mike Huckabee offered much more than just comical relief. Huckabee was one of the few candidates who did not stoop to personal attacks, even though he was subject to them through the night. In addition, his answers on the Bible, space exploration, dept reduction (yes he does want to completely rewrite our taxation system...check out his website for details!) were rather eloquent and well thought out. I believe that by far in large Mike Huckabee was the most well spoken of the candidates tonight.
