The DNC has sent "trackers" onto the campaign trail to record the moves of Republican candidates like Rudy Giuliani, above.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Democratic National Committee's internal archive of campaign tracking video is going public.

"FlipperTV" – launched just in time for tonight's CNN/YouTube Republican presidential debate – contains dozens of raw videos of the major Republican candidates' campaign stops that web users are invited to edit into their own campaign ads.

DNC Spokesman Dag Vega said they hear from "so many activists with the know-how and desire to keep Republicans accountable for their flip flops and exaggerations … we're giving them the tools to do that.

It comes after the practice of "tracking" was made famous by a Democratic volunteer who recorded Republican Sen. George Allen's controversial "Macaca" remark during a campaign stop in the 2006 Virginia Senate race. The video became a YouTube sensation and was arguably one of the reasons Allen lost the election.

The videos on the DNC site feature four Republican presidential candidates: Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, and John McCain. The raw footage is just that – in some of the videos, the backs of audience members' heads are featured just as often as the candidates themselves.

The DNC describes the project as ongoing, and promises more video from the CNN/YouTube debate tonight.

This all seems a bit redundant to me. Are there really people out there who don't realise the so called "top tier" candidates pander and flip flop all over the issues to please their constituents?

There's only one man that sticks to his guns and principles – those principles being liberty, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights that this nation was founded upon.

That man is Ron Paul!
